Your I9070 is with 16 Gb internal memory? If yes, reflash with Odin JB firmware with PIT file for your phone( 16 Gb)...

thanks guys... I haven't tried the other roms you mentioned here but I will try. I am disappointed with the samsung release.
How do i get back to GB? I really hate battery drain on ICS (have tired airplane mode and screen on before unplug etc.) and just want a stadyer battery life via GB and a safe ROM to remove files and download stuff without constant feeling of brick...
Im running XXLPY and I rooted using touch CWM and BusyBox
I put the CWM.zip and BusyBoxInstaller.zip on to my SD and went on my GB recovery and flashed CWM touch version and used it to root = does it mean i have partial root or full and can i just install Rooted GB via PC Odin and be good with it or do i have to first unroot XXLPY and then revert to GB and then root it coz i like CF3D and couple other root required apps..
Thanks!

i downloaded an indian stock gb rom (2.3.6 indian N7000XXKL3_N7000ODDKL1_INU) from dr.ketan's guide as he said it is easily rootable.but the issue is am on german gb rom (2.3.6 german N7000XXLC1_N7000OXALC1_DBT) and if i go back to any indian stock rom using pc odin i get a fail message.....steps which i am following are as below-
first i unzipped the rom to my desktop and unzip the pc odon 1.83 to desktop
and now i put my phone in downloading mode nd starts odin nd select pda and then select the tar file...
nw i connect my sgn to odin nd it shws yellow
nw i click on start and after sometime during factoryfs i got fail many times
NOTE-IF I WILL FLASH MY SGN TO ANY GERMAN ROM THEN I GOT SUCCESSFUL........
Change the CSC
*#272*IMEI#
Select the Indian Code and you will able to get OTA Updates from the country you selected.(Warning - This will do a hard reset on your phone)
Did you do any wipes on 4.0.4 ?? If yes , then you are screwed
Otherwise , Download Pre-rooted GB LC1 from 'bodivas' thread and flash in Odin 1.85. Make sure that it is in tar or md5 format.

Bro I didn't meant to scare you.As it seems like you might bricked your device because ICS stock kernels are dangerous to wipe.
CM9 uses a safe kernel. Just use these steps and let us know if its going smoothly.
Download Abyss 4.2 from here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1362424
Download CM9 from here http://get.cm/?device=n7000
Download Gapps from here http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip
Now Reboot phone in recovery mode.
Flash Abyss 4.2 (Redpill Original Logo Preferred)
Go to Advanced
Reboot Recovery
Full Wipe(Cache/Dalvik/Data)
Now Flash CM9
Flash Gapps
Reboot System
Hope it helps

Shahil have just shown probability b'coz stuck at factoryfs with wiping hystory on ICS always bad sign., and we have to first rule out it, though I am not in favor of brick right now.
Root your device and Install this

Ok Dear. Mah Bad. But stucking at factoryfs or datafs is most probably the sign of a bricked device. Since your device is not bricked(As you claim) I am happy bro. Cheers.

Plz dont mind sahil, it is just different opinion, and i can't say device is not bricked 100%, but i think this is still not in condition to stamp it, so better we rule out then will decide.

For custom ROM you must install only GB based ROM so you have only JetMOD and you must root your phone if i remember right.
Root stock GB
In other words you must read carefully some tutorials and guides from general forum if you want to not break your phone.

How to get back my 16gb internal storage of s Advance?

Hey All,
I have 16gb Samsung s advance,
when i bought the mobile, i had no clue about updates and resets,
Then i researched and learned alot about the android development,
i updated my 2.3.6 to 4.1.2 then to 4.4.2 Carbon mode then to 4.4.4 Cynagomod ,
Then it gave me wifi issues to i decided to flash it back to 2.3.6
and i accidently used 8gb pit file,
& the memory shrunked to 3.97 GB,
i tried using 16GB pit file with the same reset files ,
but it gave errors when its was first booting up in the copying files linux part,
and i thought it had some error in firmware,
then i tried to flash same 16GB pit file with original JB 4.1.2 firmware,
then it gave unavailable storage device memory, & unavailable memory card,
tell me a solution on how to get my device back on 16 GB pit file,
give me a full tutorial
Thanks in advance
well that is awkward for s advance
