I can get into recovery but that's about it.
the message keeps popping up so hard to do anything else.
Is it possible to flash a new System UI?
Got nothing to lose.
I can email mine for you to stick in the stick in the zip file. I'm currently on the most recent stock.

Send me the zip on pn, then i'll make you a undo zip which flash back the stock files

Just for your info, if you hard press the home button you can open Google now, and from the search bar you can open any of your apps, if of course you have anything on there that may help!

do I really have to do that?
its a right ball ache putting everything back on the phone.
I know, but I think that is a problem from the installation of the google apps, the other option its going to Settings/ privacy and there should be options to restore/wipe the data of the phone, anyways you will need to do a backup of your numbers, messages, etc
if this doesnt work, you will need to reflash the stock software with PcCompanion
Anyways the last time that I had problems with the market app in stock, I just had to restore the fabric data of the phone in Settings/ privacy
Can't use market on 2.1 only 2.3 and up now so you must flash a ROM this is because they upgraded to play

Hey guys wanna check if anyone's experienced this and if anyone has a fix for these issues.
Firstly, after rooting, I noticed that I always get a message saying "Android is upgrading" every reboot. I've tried foxes suggested in other threads of other phones but it doesn't seem to work. Anyone experiencing the same thing?
The second issue is upon changing the dpi in build.prop to 320, the phone.apk and dialer in contacts.apk messes up in the sense that there is no call button. I've used App Settings to change the individual dpi of each app back to 480 but the call button is not restored. Only when build.prop is 480 does it come back.
Anyone can help with the above issues? :/ can't find anything in the forums about these.

Which ROM are you using, because almost all of the ROM installs advise to factory reset and delete cache etc, in which case I don't think you should not get upgrading apps message on first boot.
Something is not right with your delvik cache, this normally only occurs when you clear your delvik cache. I would suggest backup, factory reset, reinstalling a ROM, then root.

I'm on stock. I only rooted using Bin4ry's tool and that was all. The only things I did extra was flash black soft keys and flash White Balance with TWRP. I've done a full factory reset before, even using PC companion to repair and re-install the firmware but this still occurs.

This is the same as "wiping dalvik" in CWM or TWRP right? Doesn't seem to work. I've re-flashed the firmware and the root doesn't seem to give any issues. It's not TiBu like other threads for other devices have mentioned either. I think it's Xposed that caused it. I used it to install App Settings which lets me change individual app settings. Will try it out again and see what happens.
EDIT: Okay it seems to be the flashing of the soft keys to make it black.
You have to delete the. Odex files for the black navbar mod

I just rebooted it and it's fine so it's not that haha. My bad!
With the New kernel, KERNEL][T] NK for Xperia™ T | 1.4.0 [20 NOV
I'm having a weird issue, after installing the zip I get it.to start up then about 30 sec later it reboots everything. I currently got doom kernel and android 4.1.2, the only thing that I can think of is that I have the 141 fw and not 145.
I tried the factory wipe n install and it works fine then, but when I try to restore the data backup I made I get back into the same issue. I wiped dalvik n all, it seems to not work when I restore my data.. Any ideas on what to do?
If there is anyway I can just get the sms messages restored and some way to batch install my apps I wouldn't mind.doing so (this kernel sounds great from reviews) but I can't figure it out as if now...
Thanks!!
Bump any ideas?
Is there a way to save my texts and restore them? (hopefully w/o downloadin some app from store that costs money.. )
also, a way to save my data files from the apps i have? I have several save points in games i want to keep
For some reason i cant access the date folder on my phone within Droidexplorer...
i have the data backup done in clockworkmod recovery, but like i said above, if i restore that my phone reboots about 30 sec after the home screen loads and the widgets are loading ( i can even open up some programs like texts, contacts, email, etc.. and they load up fine.. then the phone reboots.. weird issue! )
why don't you just reinstall doomkernel if that worked fine you....

i deleted some files from device and when i flashed another rom 4.1.2 no matter wich one, the lockscreen doesn't work... So i flashed stock rom with odin. The lockscreen is working, but when i flash another rom, sweet rom for example, the lockscreen is not working. Is anyone able to have a solution for this problem?

i will take it from the begining.
i flashed asylum 4.4.1 and i was getting the error low disk space. so in root browser i deleted some dirs... don't know wich one to free space. the phone freezed and i went to recovery, flashed sweet rom v11.1. after flash the phone started just as it was after a reboot. the setup wizard dind't start and when i locked the device from the power button the screen went off, but when i pressed the home button the lockscreen was missing. i tried to change the lock way to pin/code or any other option. so i tried to restart the phone, but when i pressed the power button for 2 seconds i didn't get the restrart/shut down/airplane/silent menu, instead the phone shut down directly. the same problem persists even in MIUI. on 4.4.1 i have the lockscreen, but it's not that friendly for me...
Ok, I had this problem one. You've deleted too many files. I can't remember which. Please tell me the directories, where You have deleted the files, maybe my memory comes back .
Sent from note, a phone like never before
Edit:
I've found those files (from my s2), the only problem is that I don't know where they belong.
Are those the files You have deleted (imei)?

Hi there,
I am using Xperia SP C5303 with new firmware 12.1.A.0.266(updated through Sony Bridge for Mac). Before I updated the phone from 4.1.2 I had done factory reset of the phone.
Within typical usage there is usually around 260-300 MB RAM free, also there are no ram-eating widgets and ****s like that.
My xperia tends to self reboot without any particular reason. Sometimes it happens while using chrome. There was one time when incoming sms made it reboot. Before rebooting it freezes and pixels gradually fade to black.
Does any of You guys know what could cause that kind of behaviour ? It has never happened to me while I was using previous firmware.
P.S. I have already tried repairing the software using built-in option in sony bridge.
I hope there is a soul that could help me because sony just said - send phone to service -_-

Seems to work! Thank You mate!
Unfortunately the problem persist, xperia freezes and restarts.
I used the C5303 12.1.A.0.266 AU Generic provided by Doomlord. I flashed the device using the wipe option. I am pretty sure that it is not connected with any particular app.
Does anybody have another idea or had same problem ?
I'm using the Australian rom in the UK been on it for about a week. Had no problems here. Did have an issue when I held down the power button it wouldn't shut down but a hard reset seems to have cured that

Hi mine does the same as yours. On 4.1 it sometimes just had backlight which can life with but now on 4.3 it freezes a lot, force closes things and fades like yours. Try removing chrome (takes 40mb odd just sat there compared to 24mb on other browsers. Try removing japenese keyboard layout too as this takes 54mb :-S Also maybe try a memory cleaner as I've noticed that even though you have closed apps down and removed them from the open apps screen it's still running them. So it may be due to poor memory management within the update.

Hello!
I have the very same problem with my Xperia SP.
It's a strange problem. On android 4.1.2 with DoomLord's v04 the phone was working fine. Now on 4.3 it was okay with DoomLord's advanced stock kernel, and then Sony released .201, flashed it, phone kept freezing&rebooting. Then I flashed back to advanced stock kernel and it wouldn't work. Rebooting persists.
I'd like to get some guidance on what should I do next?
Thanks in advance!
P.S.No warranty or a Sony center nearby,so sending to service is not an option.
