My mobile data stoped working after i went to Android Revolution HD 21.0 ROM
and later i flashed Android Revolution HD 13.4 and it worked nicely.
what could be the problem?

sorry for being a noob, i know they're annoying but i have a problem when i flash this on my ARHD 21.0 HTC One. when i flash this it shows the flashing screen for about 1 second then it just powers off completely and powers back on. it doesnt fix the data problem after that. please help me out thanks.
Edit: sorry for posting, ive found another way do fix my problem. after searching a with a few different keywords i realized that it was a common issue. the Optus website provided the required APN for the htc one x which also works on the One.
So you are saying that when you are flashing that update the phone reboots?
But when you boot normaly the phone is working (no data connection)?
if so then
Google the APN for your service provider
Open the phone
Settings - mobile data - Accoss Point Names -
Then add your settings in there, save at the end and reboot
It should all now work as that is the way I did it :highfive:
i got the same problem, i bought ONE from AT&T (US) but i live in EU , Macedonia , here my mobile data is not working, i tryed alot roms, radios, still not working,im on viper rom now, should i go back in revolution rom and try this fix or?

I just got the my HTC One for Sprint and after rooting, I am unable to lock on to GPS using Google Maps. I am currently running Cynogenmod 10.1 20130704 Nightly.
I even tried GPS status to do reset GPS but no luck. If i flash sense based ROM GPS locks on right away. Anyone seen this issue or know of a fix?

back up cm10 restore your sense rom, and lock your gps on then boot to recovery and reinstall cm10
That worked for me once, but didn't seem to stick. I believe gps stopped working once I was in a LTE area.
I edited the /etc/gps.conf file using root browser.
The last line where the setting LPP_PROFILE=X
Stock CM10.1 is 0.
I changed it to 3, rebooted and gps locked right on.
There is a post in the CM10.1 thread (page 48-ish IIRC) that mentions changing it to 1. I tried 3 and it worked for me. I will try 1 if gps stops working again.

Just remember that after every flash you need to change that file again.
Might see if this setting can be merged into the mainline if this is a valid fix.

Recently the mobile data on my HTC One WWE has stopped working. When it is switched on from the status bar, it stays on for a couple of seconds and disconnects straight away.
Rebooting, reinstalling ROM and new radio hasn't solved the issue.
I am running Android Revolution 53.0 (new version for today), 4.19.401.11, 4.4.2

I'm sorry for a double post, but I still can't find a solution! Any help
I've recently flashed Sensational Rom v4 and it was all normal,but today(no restart) it started rebooting everytime i tried to connect to data. I've read that it is because my cell radios and bootloader are of different version than what this Rom and i had to flash a RUU. But in the flashing the RUU guide it says if i have S-ON it cannot flash a lower version of hboot and mine is 1.31.0000(written in the bootloader) while the rom is 1.28.0000.
Is there a way to fix this ? Will i face the same problem with all the sense based roms(even a stock one)? Should i flash to 4.1.2 roms?
i have:Sensational rom v4 ,Prometheus kernel 678mhz, Indian CID

so the cm10 based roms won't make the phone reboot? the thing is data connection was working 1-2 days ago ,and i didn't reboot and no mods installed the phone and today it suddenly stopped working.
i'll try a 4.1.2 rom, but with my bad luck my phone has a great chance of being stuck to not having no access to the net...

Since sense based ROMs are I think based on stock. So your problem might be fixed by flashing a 4.1.2 ROM.

after ~2 months the phone started restarting again when using data connection(3g)
any suggestions?
EDIT:looks like it was because of the SIM ,weird as another phone with that SIM connects to 3g without any problems

Im also new on this... my probles is that every time I flash a CM ROM my data conection start working well, but after a while the indicator turns grey and i got to restart the phone to get data again...
P.S: this didnt happened when i got stock ROM

Ok Kinda long but want to cover everything:
So I rooted my htc one m8 (sprint) about 6 months ago I have twrp recovery and I flashed android revolution 8. A few months later I installed android revolution 11 no problems with it what so ever. A cpl days ago I tried to flash android revolution 22 but had no luck just kept boot looping and I lost everything on my phone after some research It seems I wouldnt be able to go to kit kat 4.4.4 without going back to stock rom so I relocked my bootloader ran rom utility updater and flashed it back to stock and reset up my phone tried to flash over to android revolution again after unlocking bootloader and all that good stuff still did not work so just decided to go back to stick 4.4.4 kept bootloader locked and didn't re root my phone didn't see much of a need to at this point could only seem to use stock but anyway after a day or so of phone running just fine well today it wont connect to my mobile network or wifi (can't make or receive phone calls can't send or receive texts and am unabke to get any internet on my phone wont even connect to wif) I have even restored the phone from original back-up that I had also tried 2 other back-ups of stock roms the phone is pretty much just an mp3 player at this point sprint said everything was fine on their end nothing they can do all the icons are there for 4g and wifi and such the phone shows me its connected to sprint shows signal strength and all that so I don't know whats wrong and don't think htc will help me since I rooted it hopefully some one here can i'm

As far as I know ARHD is not Sprint compatible so you probably messed up your partitions.
RUU will fix it.
Only flash roms that are in the Sprint section.
Apart from compatibility off ARHD to Sprint M8 ... There is also that dreaded HTC service pack that was released on 11th Dec which screwed the network n Wi-Fi on my phone (stock Rom)
First time itty happened due to auto update install via play store and started working after I did multiple attempts at cache delete through TWRP
2nd time even after researching and knowing the service pack was the culprit I thought I should try...ending up with factory reset...so do check it
If you too had that service pack installed
Btw even htc acknowledges the sh#@ this update is causing to the phones and wants to collect more data... I don't know if anything else can be called a legit rip off or not...

I used ruu after I tried to flash it and messed everything up and everything worked fine after a cpl days of it working is when it started to have the networking issues I used ruu several times after and it didn't work still is there a different version I need?
Guys I am having this weird problem on every LP sense based Rom...
I can't access xda app, 9gag app, download what's app media and a couple of other applications while being connected to my home WiFi and "some" other routers , I tried everything possible, factory reset flashing different LP Roma, resetting my WiFi , everything failed, flashed KK back everything went back normal...
I had asked this question on several threads ,but no One could answer :| this problem is facing a lot of htc users in my country after updating into LP, htc themselves still have no.answer for this, did anybody here faced this problem?

Hi, are you updating your Firmware along with the rom ? If their is no 7.x.yourVersion.x firmware to match your version, you have to have s-off to change your phone's CID / MID to use a International (7.xx.401.x) or Developer Edition firmware (7.xx.1540.x)

I dont think its firmware related thing, as my friends who have the official OTA on their m8's are having the same problem as well

My m8 and m7 both are on developer edition lollipop and I have no problems with wifi
Seems someone else mentioned it, but going into Settings/ Wifi / Advanced and unchecking Wifi optimization and turning off power saver seems to fix it

Tried it, not working also :/
P.s on 3g and some types of routers the connection seems fine without these problems
