Welcome XDA Community ! I present you my ROM, T0X1C ROM.
I spend much of my time to make this happen (about 2 monts), prevoius I develop a T0X1C MOD for LWW & Xperia Neo V (only published at polish android forum),
My ROM is developed for Xperia ARC, ARC S, NEO & at least NEO V.
T0X1C ROM based on:
Latest firmware for Xperia Neo V (.62), this is a system base,
Latest Xperia PLAY firmawe (.62), from this FW I take a PlayStation apps like a live wallpapers and PlayStation Pocket (certs too), PlayStation game has been tested by me and working without any problems (Crash Bandicoot from Xperia FW), even PSXperia games working
Latest firmawe for Xperia P/Sola/Go (.164) from this FW i take many apps, like a torch (GO), phonebook, facebook/timescape apps, meesage app, music player app, calendar, calculator etc. Almost every app form original FW has been replaced by newest from NXT Series.
Some other features:
- I added power menu (reboot to recovery, fastboot, normal reboot),
- Sounds/alarms taken from NXT series,
- SERAJR Launcher with 5x4 drawer and patched HDPI layout by me (I made some changes in config app too),
- Lidroid QuickSettings (every toogles working fine, even 2G/3G toogle),
- Static wallpapers (PNG) taken from newest Xperia P FW (ICS+GB resized for WFVGA),
- Some apps has been removed (bloatware like ANT service, Flash, Office) you can download it manualy and for free on Google Play,
- No scripts in init.d, only tweaks in build.prop,
- Very stable and fast (free RAM about ~ 250-260mb after first reboot),
- Apps from original FW are modified (PNG's and even strings) for maximum Xperia NXT look,
- Long press back button kill background apps (like in CM ROMS),
- NXT Lockscreen (witout installing aditional package) with settings and notifications,
- Live wallpapers from NXT Series (Cosmic Flow, Magic Forest, Earth),
- Modded camera app (better photo quality, and higher video bitrate),
- My implementation of Beats Audio (only few files for maximum audio quality and sound volume)
- Working ALSA + some tweaks in build.prop like a resampler etc,
- Skip track (in music app and radio) by volume rocker,
- Smooth scrooling,
- 30 step volume mod (for music, even on bluetooth headphone/s),
- Probably all widgets from NXT Series (I leave some stock widgets like Media Widget),
- Very good battery life,
- Some specific tweaks like a better touchscreen reaction, better voice quality incall, and many others ,
- Newest Google and Sony Apps,
- AdFree (by AdAway app),
- UI rendering by GPU,
- Optimized for everyday usage (because is stock like),
- Added support for init.d on locked BL,
- Bugfree ?
- Many others tweaks, and features that I forgot
Instalation is simple, flash a T0X1C_ROM_V8.zip, next choose a patch from T0X1C ROM (it resident on SDCARD after instalation of main system), odex is optional (but it can add aditional performance), recovery is only for locked BL. FULL WIPE IS REQUIRED ! (if you get a market errors like 927 or others make a second full wipe).
I suggest to use a .62 baseband or ICS (.72/.77).
I recommend a custom kernel (so you must unlock your xperia), I don't test my ROM on locked phones but it should work If you're using a .42 stock kernel you must update it to .62 or custom one.

ROM is developed for polish user so instalation strings in recovery are in polish language, system is multilanguage

I'll try this soon, can't do just now as I'm on a 4.1 kernel and nowhere near a laptop/pc. Tried all firmwares and gb is still the fastest by far.

i think the rom is kinda xgamer with different background. Nothing new. Except the beats and alsa

+1 thanks. Now this is one of my favourite GB rom, using stock kernel, ram still possible to hit 235 is pretty good indeed.
Just one question, i'm on locked bl. So, can i flash .42 gb, root it, and than flash .62 firmware with flashtool to have root? I dont know how else, with pc companion i would upgrade to .587 ics...
And just one more question, can i flash only baseband with Locked BL?

Update to .62 using Update Center application (purple icon) after rooting .42.

I have tried alot of ROMS, but found this one to charge my Arc on Bootloader locked very fast than other ROMS.
Your ROM has Nice Themes compared to most GB ROMS here
Its really hard to choose between This ROM and X-Gamers.
For people who dont use facebook and the likes and want alot of Internal mem, i think X-Gamer is the choice. but those into social media, but still have good internal Memory of 280MB after installation, this ROM is number 1
Just to give people an insight to help them decide to install or Not
1. 270-280MB Of Internal Mem after Installation
2. 20-30MB of System ROM After Installation
3. 220-240MB RAM

Every kernel has its own wifi modules. Just flash it with cwm

This is built for the Xperia Tablet Z with mobile data. If you have a Xperia Tablet Z that has wifi only, please look at this thread.
No support, no warranty, nothing. This is a build I made for myself that I'm sharing to XDA. Development only questions. Normal Q&A go elsewhere. No ETAs. I will ask for any posts that ask about anything mentioned in this post to be deleted (eg. "why is recovery not working")

Update #1: Data is fixed in 20150113 version. I know the about screen still shows 20150111 as the version, but it's updated.

Flashing the ROM from sdcard does not work. I tested adb sideload and it works. Reboot to recovery and select adb sideload when applying the update. On the computer, navigate to a folder with adb and run "adb sideload <path to zip>". The rest is automagic.
You will also need a gapps package.
Credit goes to FXP and the numerous code authors on review.cyanogenmod.org, whose commits I have cherry picked for this build.

You note instability on games,,, is it terribly bad or fairly uncommon? Data, Gps and recovery either don't matter or can be worked around, but games are probably 30% of my tab use.

Admittedly, I only tested on a very limited selection of games. It seems to crash on Angry Birds Transformers if you tap on too many coins at once, but it seems fine on other games. Noted instability anyway because I can't be sure if it's because of ART or GPU libraries, since this build does use the mako L preview adreno blobs. I also noticed slight frame rate drops on other games, but the games themselves did not crash. Admittedly I don't use my tablet that much for gaming, so I put gaming under not working out of an abundance of caution.
When we can expect that data is working? Tomorrow i try this rom...

Now
Data has been fixed.
Installed now on the new version (don't use data but why not have the latest) and games seem ok at a quick glance. As you same slightly lower framerate probably due to old blobs but no instability so far. Will keep an eye on things.
All else good so far, about 1.5hrs in.

Your ROM identifies itself as a yuga. Either flash a proper pollux ROM, change ro.product.device/ro.build.product to pollux in build.prop or remove the asserts in updater-script. You can also ask the maintainer of the ROM you use (nicely) to fix the build and change ro.product.device/ro.build.product to pollux.
PS. not recommended to mess with asserts in updater-script or change ro.product.device/ro.build.product unless you're 100% sure the tablet you're using is a SGP321. Messing with the asserts to make this flash on anything other than SGP321 may result in bad things happening.

Could you screenshot about tablet > status? Blank out things like IMEI as they're personally identifiable. Could you also toggle airplane mode on and off so that the modem is reset?
I've tried to reset the modem, but nothig has changed. Tablet seems to recognize the SIM, but is not able to start the modem.

Thanks for the great work. Everything seems to work except Bluetooth. The device switches on Bluetooth but does not discover any nearby devices. This problem also occurs in Safe Mode. Can you think of a reason why this might be?
Also, a minor issue: the device's model number is given as C6603....

- In normal mode, bluetooth connected with another devices. I think in safe mode not working for security
- If you dont like your device name is C6603, rename it to C5503:
open build.prop in system/ and edit all string "C66" by "C55" and "Xperia Z" by " Xperia ZR"
BT issues
I performed a factory reset and the very first thing I tried after that is bluetooth. No luck - still not working. It switches on, scans for devices but doesn't find any.
Before I decided on the factory reset, it detected my laptop for a few seconds when I rebooted the laptop, but then lost it again. It never detected my bluetooth headsets. Googling around, it seems that 5.1.1 is causing BT trouble on various devices. Also, by the way, Safe Mode does not disable BT. Trying in safe mode is a regular trouble shooting procedure for BT issues.
I don't care about the device name, just thought I should mention it.
A bigger problem is the absence of the Xperia diagnostic tool that usually is accessible from Settings/About Phone. It's not there. I downloaded the "light" version from the Playstore but this crashes every time I start it up.

Whoah, wait a moment! I just switched one of my headsets to pairing mode, then switched the BT on the phone off and on and off and on like crazy, then waited (with BT on) and suddenly it detected the headset and paired. Weird. ADDITIONAL COMMENT NEXT DAY: no further BT issues. I have been able to pair another headset and a bunch of Trackr Bravo trackers. So I can confirm that all major functions on this phone work and the ROM is very nice indeed.
I'll report further if I find out anything else.

uncomment and Rajeev, thanks very much for making this available for the ZR. This is so nice. I came from a 4.2.2 on a DoCoMo branded Xperia A. The improvements in 5.1.1 are enormous. This phone's life expectancy just increased by at least a year.

Hi guys, this is a port of Sony Xperia firmware build 10.6.A.0.454 to Nexus 4. I ported the custimized 10.6.A.0.454 firmware from Xperia Z - eXistenZ Y
I've removed some apps as our system partition are too small
I did alot of changes for kernel, selinux and also adapt some files from nexus 4. At least it's booting for now. Video:
Why port from Xperia Z? Because Xperia Z have the same msm8960 board with nexus 4.

I've removed Google Apps for now until the wifi / ril is fixed

Finally i got the bluetooth, audio, gps and mount storage working on the newer 5.1.1 Xperia firmware.
I will try to fix more bugs before I release it

Wow thank you! Always wanted to use Xperia Z, now there's no need too.
Is enabling Wifi hard? It's critical since I use my N4 like ipod touch.

Not sure. I am trying to fix hardware related bug for now .

I have to do some testing before I can tell you
Hi folks.
Since I rooted my Xperia V I have camera and media folder bugs. Something like all media sector is in trouble.
I flashed several roms such as Cyanogen (11.x and 12) and Pac Android, without fixing the problem:
- when camera is opens there are some reflections on display
- pictures and video can not be saved
- in whatsapp i can’t send or receive media files
- i can not access to any media archive folder
Any suggestions?

So. For the camera: disable NFC. It should work( atleast it worka on stock)
If you flashed CM12 you need to change partition permissions. Go to CM12.1 thread by WhiteNeo and find the code in FAQ.

Thanks krasimiretov. I've already tried disabling NFC without solving, but... is enough just turn off NFC or do you mean something "deeper", i.e. deleting NFC function at all (I don't know how...)?
