is there anyway to change DNS on 3g Network ?

Try this out it worked for me. I used method 2 it works but is not persistent between reboots or after switching to wifi.

You can use VPN also to work around that

Sim question

I am assuming to get a go phone sim to work it has to be from a prepaid smart phone? I had one from a regular phone but it says to insert sim card even after i put in in several times. Any help?

Network signal gone after rooting

I've got a problem. My younger brother attempted to root his i9305. When he rebooted his phone, everything was fine but there was ao network signal. Went to setting to check what network he was on nothing came on. Any idea what happened??? I'm suspecting it has been sim locked. But it doesn't have that sim lock thingy. .

Do you have a circle with a line through it at the right hand side of the notification bar? No imei in the about device settings?
If so, he has lost his efs.......
There is a walkthrough in the android development section of the i9305.
It's titled "lost imei / nv data restore" or something along those lines.
It happened to me when i had nfi what i was doing. I flashed a i9300 rom instead of a i9305 lolz. Your bro prob did the same. Hope this helps!

@rudyashraf....i am facing this problem too.how u fixed that network problem too.actually i rooted my android smartphone and now i have network problem.NO network signal at all both 3G and 4G but everythiing is fine in my phone.how u solved ur problem bro.Please tell me how can solve this problem.guys help me anyone can reply me.

Try changing your modem.

Try another Modem or change your SIM to see if its a phone problem.
