please help me...!!!
Any advice/guide/help will be really appreciated..!!!!
At unlocking BL you modified your TA partition, so Bravia Engine 2 doesn't work anymore.
If you want to revert back to stock you need:
Flashtool(FT)
A .ftf File(FlashToolFile, this contains the whole System of the phone)
Some time(it will take up to an hour for everything set up correctly)
A Windoze Box
So you need to get your device in Flashmode, then flash the stock ftf with FT, and finally relock bootloader.
If you need more info, just ask

hi all i just recently formatted my bricked phone though the PCC method ..and now everything is back to stock now ..so my root acces is gone , my link2sd and it's app is gone , my xrecovery is gone , rom is gone , cmw gone cause no mod all things root based is gone so ...basically how can i recover them? must i do everything back? from root to xrecovery(since these 2 are most important)? i heard i cant flash my phone through the link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19647865&postcount=13
i understand it but it seems that i followed it indirectly ..since i used the pcc method instead of his ...so is there another way to flash?
If you had saved backup with xRec or CWM, install them again and restore it. Or you can set up everything again from the beggining but it will take you some time.

betta to do it again, root with superoneclick
well..if u want to use custom ROMs again, then yes, you must start from rooting again. everytime you fix your phone through PCC/SEUS/flashtool, ur phone become like new, just the way u bought it.
Oh wait ... this is a W8?
This is the first time you mentioned this bit of info.
Well ...
You can flash your W8 with Flashtool as well - the difference to the regular E15i/E15a Xperia X8 is that the W8 comes with a slightly different ROM (aka "Walkman") and a re-versioned baseband ("E16"). Otherwise the two devices are identical twins.
This little difference is ONLY of any importance if you would want to have exactly the W8 Stock ROM version back. Since your goal is to flash FroyoPro anyway, it doesn't matter to flash back the normal X8 ROM (others actually re-flashed their phone from a W8 to a X8 to get rid of the "Walkman" parts of it).
That being said - I can't recall I ever saw a Flashtool image of the W8 stock firmware.
Anyhow, now that you got the phone recovered with PCC just grab Flashtool and start at the rooting step onward to a) root the phone, b) inject xRecovery and c) flash FroyoPro.
Thanks ya but can I flash using my w8 since my neo locked my comp with pw
So suddenly my phones wifi and mobile data has stopped. I can't recover from a older back-up as i don't have one (tottaly forgot to make one) now when i try to repair it with PCC it says that the sofware has been modified and can't help ect.
I'm from belgium and i am now on fw 9.1.A1.140 but I can't seem to find the exect fw back in the thread. Can I also flash a other fw? My phone has root, unlocked bootloader doom kernel 7. Pleas some advise what should I do?
Try flashing doomkernel again in recovery.
Or try flashing a stock FTF in flashtool or a stock based custom rom.
Do a full factory reset before doing so and make sure you backup anything you want to keep
After leaving ma phone home for a day from school, things are back to normal.. Very strange.. Now going to see if the problem occurs again, but in the weekend I'm going to reset my phone, just to be sure. Btw, had already flashed the doomkernel again and it didn't work. Ether way, I'm happy now that for some reason everything is working again.

First of all, I'd like to apologize to start this open question.
It looks like everyone is getting their phone working without any much extra tutorial required along with the XDA forum guides and ROM.

Please forgive me for my noobie. I'd like to write this post and ask for your instruction and suggestion in step by step.
How to have my Xperia Z1 CWM ready and rooted with a stable ROM preferably KitKat.

If you want to keep your warranty , the best way would be the following:
1) Use this guide to get root and recovery on stock .290 firmware : http://youtu.be/1aq9YTlfCgc
2) Once you have root, you will be able to back up your TA partition (DRM keys)
-if you don't know any terms or are confused look here: http://youtu.be/l78p_2ShPS0
3) Now that you have your TA backup safe you can go to official Sony website to unlock your bootloader: http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/
4) Choose a custom rom that you want, flash kernel and rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z1/orig-development
If you ever want to get back to stock. Use Flashtool to flash stock firmware, restore TA, relock bootloader.
Never attempt to restore TA on custom ROM - this will brick your device
If you don't care about warranty and don't mind loosing Bravia Engine, X-reality, Bionz etc forever; do the following:
1) unlock bootloader
2)Choose a custom rom that you want, flash kernel and rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z1/orig-development
1) Download the .ftf file named C6903 14.1.G.1.534 Global 1277-2880_R4A from the compiled FTF thread at this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2469191
This is a version of the original Stock Rom that the VROOT program will actually work on when trying to ROOT your phone.
2) Flash the ROM you downloaded using Flashtool (steps on how you can go about doing that should be in the Xperia Z1 General forum.) and now, you're ready to root your phone with it.
3) Download, install and run VROOT to root your phone. Again, more information on how to properly root your phone using VROOT can be found in the Xperia Z1 General forum. For me, I just turned on USB Debugging on my Z1, connected my phone to my computer while VROOT was running and clicked the green button until I got root access. It's extremely easy.
4) With Root Access, now you can download and install Dual Recovery for the Xperia Z1 on your phone.
5) Download the latest iHackers 2.0 ROM from the Xperia Z1 Android Development thread and copy it to your phone. This is hands down, the best ROM for the Xperia Z1 right now in terms of battery life. With the latest 4.3 update, I'm able to get over 2 Days worth of battery life on one charge. Battery life is much better on the new iHackers 2.0 ROM running Android 4.3.
6) Download the flashable Locked Dual Recovery for the Xperia Z1 here. http://nut.xperia-files.com/
The file is called XZ-lockeddualrecovery2.7.63-BETA.flashable.zip (8.48MB), download it and copy it to your phone, preferably the same place you copied the iHackers 2.0 ROM. To make things easier for yourself, create a new folder on your phone or SD Card in your phone and name it iHackers. Copy both the iHackers 2.0 ROM and the flashable Locked Dual Recovery.zip file into this folder.
7) With both files now copied to a folder on your phone, you're now ready to go into recovery to flash the iHackers 2.0 ROM. Boot into recovery and once you're there, do a Wipe Data/Factory Reset before Installing the ROM.
The rest of these steps are now taken directly from the iHackers 2.0 download thread on the Xperia Z1 Android Development forum.
8) Install the ROM and THEN Dual Recovery. Don't make the same mistake I did, once the installer is finished, DON'T REBOOT THE DEVICE. Uncheck the "Reboot Device" box and go back to recovery to install the flashable Dual Recovery.zip file that's in the iHackers 2.0 folder.
9) Switch Off Your Phone (Do Not Reboot). Select No to Disable Flash Recovery Confirmation.
10) Install Kernel.ftf for C6903 (.290) or Kernel.ftf for C6902 (.290) with Flashtool to get compatible Kernel and Baseband. To download the kernel.ftf file, go to the original iHackers 2.0 thread to download and flash the kernel using Flashtool. You should be familiar with Flashtool at this point since if you make it to this step, you've already used Flashtool once to flash the .534 baseband version of Android.
11) Reboot and Enjoy. Now you're running the latest version of Android 4.3 on your Xperia Z1 on a Locked Bootloader WITH full Root Access. Sure, it's not the stock version but the iHackers 2.0 version of Android 4.3 is just as good, if not better. This will certainly do until there's a better way to simply root the newest Stock Version of Android 4.3.
Step by Step Guide made by @x016x so Thanks him, and Me, because I posted here.
You can flash the latest z1 dual recovery, not only 2.7.63.

So you are in bootloop? Something goes wrong there then. I don't know what is the main problem.
Now to go back to the beginning you have to flash Stock FTF with Flashtool.
I was using PAC ROM on my Xperia Z since after few weeks after buying the phone, but i find PAC rom kinda slow, so I wanted to go back to stock kernel, rom. So I decidede to relock bootloader(I already did it once and went back to PAC). But this time, after relock my phone is dead, all I can do is get it into flashmode and fastboot. I am not able to flash stock firmware. I need help, please guys. I can post logs, screenshot, whatever you need.
if the phone is able to get into flashmode and fastboot it is not bricked at all you should be able to reflash stock rom without any issue I suggest using flashtool and google how to flash to stock rom xperia z
Thank you for your fast reply. I am gonna keep trying from other PCs, with fresh install of flashtool and drivers. Does the version of stock firmware make any difference?
I have managed to unbrick it by flashing stock firmware as you said. I am very happy but I would still like to get my device rooted, But something based on stock kernel not some crazy stuff. Could you tell me how? Dont wanna mess up things again
Hi guys. I customized my Xperia Z C6602 quite a while ago now, may be 5 years ago. Screen broke at that time, and I bought another phone as I couldn't buy another screen. Now I've managed to get a new screen and replaced it, and I want to sell this phone, but it's still customized, and I don't remember like anything that I did. I want to go back to stock.
I was about to follow the [GUIDE] How to revert your phone from CM/AOSP/AOKP/PAC to STOCK, but I read it could be "overkill", and so I though it would be better to ask. Let me tell you what I have right now:
CyanogenMod Version: 12.1-20150803-UNOFFICIAL-yuga
Compilation Number: cm_yuga-userdebug 5.1.1 LMY48G 1fba35b830
Core Version: 3.4.0-cm-ge347aa9-00481-ge09347c

Xperia Compannion says it won't restore because it's unlocked bootloader. Emma doesn't recognize the phone (I think it only works for C6603, not C6602). I can't think of others "official" ways to go back. Should I follow the revert guide? Or what should I do?
Thanks you very much in advance!!
Using Flashtool then
I had fresh experience with going back to Stock.
Download and Install Flashtool.
Download Stock 4.4.4 ftf
Download Stock 5.1.1 ftf.
1.Put your phone in Flashmode(powered off;while connecting usb to pc,hold Vol Down button,it should flash Green light, also Flashtool should say 'Device connected in Flashmode')
2.Flash Stock 4.4.4 ftf(download ftf based on your region,or your phone original firmware).
3.Check if its bootup to 4.4.4
4.Now again put phone in flashmode
5.Flash stock 5.1.1. ftf
6.Done,you are on Stock now.
Now why to flash 4.4.4 first??
Reason-If you flash directly 5.1.1,the phone wont boot after bootlogo, just black screen.I don't know what causes it,but all have experienced it here.
So this the only way to get back to stock rom.
Link for Stock ftf you can find in the forum.Use the search function
4.4.4-10.5.1.A.0.283
