Some news or feedback? Did you like it?

Can you explain where to find new "development" in this ROM made by the team? The feature list shows only Addons but not
"Code-writing Development". And so it feels more like a normal custom ROM.
Maybe you can clarify why this belongs to "Original Android Development Forum".

I recommend to do not change DPI because it can gives error with some apps. Anyway if you change DPI I recommend to use 285 DPI, is the one that look more beautiful on our phone

Hi guys.....
Hi guys.. @herna. thank you very much, great work.
Jelly time 4.3 is the best for DHD, but HTC didn't want to update it and they forget it. Thanks to the developers and JellyTime the cell phone is working great, that is why your Galaxy note will work great too. So, check it, comment and thank people who have made this easier, for free.
Thanks team.:good:
Can someone tell me which version of gapps I need to use with this rom, please? The instructions say to flash the rom and the gapps, but I cannot find the gapps in the OP. I am no stranger to flashing roms, and I know that flashing the wrong gapps package with a rom can cause problems.

Thank you for such a quick reply. I am downloading the gapps now. My phone is on charge at the moment, but I will try out this rom when the charging is completed. May I politely suggest that a download link for the gapps file be added to the op, in the downloads section, so that rom users can find it? The rom looks very interesting and fun to use, by the way.

You added the gapps, as per my suggestion - thank you.
I have only used it for a day and it seems pretty fast so far. It is not too much of an "eye candy" rom. By this, I mean it is not packed with lots of visual features, but is fast and pretty stable. The phone rebooted on one occasion, but I have had no other problems. Battery life seems pretty good too. It is too early to give a detailed evaluation, but early signs are pretty good.

Thank you for the feedback. Our idea is to make a ROM with only features that are neccesary or can gives better look and make a fast ROM. That is only the Experimental version, having another version running so much smoother and faster, but still on beta testing. New release is coming soon, also fixed for random reboots. THANKS!
I just thought I would let you know about another bug I have found. I set up the phone after flashing the rom and everything seemed fine. I switched it off fully to go to bed and when I went to switch it on the next day, it would not switch on. It went into boot loop and could not get past the GT-N7000 logo, switching between the logo and a blank screen. The only way out of this was to go into recovery, wipe data, cache and Dalvik, reboot and set up the rom again. My partner had the same issue when he downloaded the rom. This only happened on the first reboot, and has not occurred since then, in spite of several full switch on/switch off cycles. My partner has just rebooted his handset after the first boot loop and is currently re-installing his apps again. This is only his first reboot, so I cannot confirm that his boot loop issue is a one-off first time problem yet. But

That is because you flashed bad the ROM. I am all days flashing so much ROMs and that means I have to install JellyTime so much time and never had that error Remember always to do a clean install, and formatting system.

I always do a clean install, and wipe everything. I don't just over-install a rom over a previous one. I am very careful to wipe data, cache dalvik, and do all the formatting processes required by the rom instructions.
Excuse me sirs, ... Just making sure here. Is this ROM based on CM or is it purely built from scratch?
& can I suggest a dual panel in settings? Additionally maybe?
Thanks for your support :good:

Wish to confirm that I have faced this problem frequently with all 10.2 installations...getting stuck at Samsung Logo.
Have been mentioning it on different threads but yet to get a working sure-shot solution...unfortunately the only thing that works for me is trial and error...wiping...rebooting...reflashing ...rebooting and so on...no iron clad solution for my phone as yet...
I sometime think this should be happening to a certain set of phones only because there are several members who are enjoying CM 10.2 without such issues...

Incredilicious Final Rev 12/01/11 2.3.4 (4.08.605.2)
This is a Rom I've been working on for over a month now, and has been tested extensively on six Dincs. It's my own personal ROM (for my personal tastes) based on a stock rooted 2.3.4 (4.08.605.2) base (stock kernel) for those of you that choose to stay close to stock. It's not for everyone, I just thought I'd share it for those looking for a Stock Based ROM.
Special thanks to Wildstang83 for the stock ROM as my base
Special thanks to 00McD00 for the quick settings tab, and some parts of the systemui.apk, and frameworkres.apk, and for his lockscreen (modified 3d for this ROM).
Special thanks to Devildog8791 for the Black Dialer
As you can see from the "Running Services" screen shot, all the VZW [email protected] has been ripped out, along with a few other unnecessary services that hinder battery life and speed.
File Explorer has been added so you don't have to hit the Market right off the install to get to your files.
Updated Market to ICS version. Updated Maps, GMail, VoiceSearch, SuperUser, Flash Player 11, etc. (nothing should have to be updated after install). ClockQ has been added for those that don't like that big azzed Weather clock (like myself), go into Apps, configure your clock, and add it as a widget to your home screen.
Battery indicator with 1% increments, full color signal strength meter, etc.
Quicksettings in the notification tab.
Flyaway transitions have been added to most transitions in the ROM.
Install Instructions

Normal disclaimer about how flashing a rom can be dangerous for your phone, blah, blah, blah. Please always perform a backup before flashing this ROM. If you some how screw the pooch, consider it "Pilot Error", and I am not responsible.
Download ROM Here:
There will be no more revisions to this ROM (God knows it's been through enough revisions already).
If you want to modify icons, battery meter, etc. Hit the UOT kitchen HERE!
If you plan on using a different kernel, do so at your own risk. I have no idea who's kernel works with this ROM, as I didn't develop the other kernels. This ROM uses the stock 2.6.35.13-g03546aa kernel associated with GB 2.3.4. Please ask that question in the kernel thread
Final disclaimer:
If you're not secure enough with your own sexuality to have some purple highlights here and there, then by all means stay away from this ROM!
Original Wallpaper, and the "Stocks" app link directly below: ("Stocks" app is a flashable CWM zip file).
Five CWM flashable Screen Locks all in one pack (including Stock_Incredulicious_lockscreen.zip which will get you back to the original lock screen that came with this ROM).
DOWNLOAD SCREEN LOCK MODS HERE
Mods Include (left to right, top to bottom):
Sun and Clouds
Light Shiny Pine
Diamond Plate
Blue Snake Skin
Tiger Skin
Back to Stock (pictured in original ROM screen shots)
Lock Screen Mod Install Instructions
Boot into CWM
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Install Lock Screen Mod from Zip File

I have flashed about 20 ROMs and, I have to say, yours is a beauty. I love all the color, the fly-aways and how fast it is. Do you live in an Ice Fortress by any chance?
I am thinking of trying tiny's 12/01/11 kernel but I definitely don't want to "hurt" your ROM at all.
In any case, thanks for a terrific ROM!
Tinys newest makes it smokin fast, but needs the power menu, the one from the other roms will not work, unless i did something wrong. I really like having multiple boot options, and this rom is lacking that. Other than that, it may be the fastest rom ive ever used, and i didnt even oc it. Helluva rom.

Morning,
I was just wondering if you knew why I can't get the image to load past the HTC Incredible screen. I can load SR4.2, GingerSense and a multitude of others, however this one seems to just hang.
Running fast for me as well! Excellent Rom! I may try Tiny's latest, but I don't really want to mess with it. lol!

Just make a back up as it is right now, then try tiny's kernel. Backups will save the kernel you're using, so you can always revert back.

PER-APP-COLOR,
Paranoidandroids newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel (same that allows you to scale apps individually and choose their interface). See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.

To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all, it has nothing to do with silly build.prop hacks. This is the first and only Android rom to feature true Hybrid mode. This rom lets you scale and project every app, every widget, even systemcomponents individually. Remember, android is modular, everything is an app: Lockscreen, navigationbar, dialogs, popups, keyboards, widgets, and your regular apps of course. Apps have the capability to switch into various designs or layouts according to the device they run on. This can result in a complete new experience as many apps will transform to the better.
Now for every element that you like chose a mode (PhoneUI, Phablet/Nexus-7UI, TabletUI) and/or a size. You are 100% independent of the system DPI which runs nicely in whatever value it has been assigned to. You do not need to boot your phone into a certain DPI. Neither will most of the changes you apply require a reboot. You will not suffer from the myriads of troubles which normally haunt you under build.prop tablet mode. Your market, phone, etc. will all work, apps won't shrink on you unless you shrink them yourself. This project will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the feel of your phone.

If you have an issue and you want to call our attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread and Cyanogenmods aswell (its our base) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

Jrongi1, I figured I'll test this rom out and get bored soon but no way, I can't stop playing with it! Top 1 or 2 in my book and it's initial release, nicely done. I running it with Sema 212v...Can we say Bacon!!! Superuser wasn't sticking maybe cuz I wiped the system partition prior but I got it up by flashing su 3.2 zip. Just in case someone runs into the same issue http://downloads.noshufou.netdna-cdn.com/superuser/Superuser-3.2-RC3-arm-signed.zip

Ok, long time no flash for me here (it's been like 6 mths):
I'd like to flash this ROM from an ICS ROM (ICS Passion 13.1) but I have a few questions:
1. Can I go ahead and flash this right from an ICS ROM or do I have to ODIN back to stock?
2. I made it to ICS but I've still got the Froyo bootloader, do I need to upgrade it to a GB bootloader?
3. Any special instructions I should adhere to that's not in the OP (other than backup, don't restore system apps, fix permissions)?
TIA.

All the standard flashing tips are good. You will most likely have a problem coming from passion, but that's just passion. Bootloaders are your choice.

Okay, then should I flash CM10 and then flash PA over it?

Just for better measures, flash the GB bootloader, then go ahead and flash this. If that doesn't work, flash Hellybean first (must have GB bootloader for this) and then flash this. That's the way I did it.

Gapps Issue
Lately Google has been updating core parts of Gapps and pushing them through Play. When using Official Gapps with newer roms they may not be or get installed and that can cause random errors, most notably is the Now Hotword Bug. I recommend using the Unofficial Gapps or Midnight Gapps as they are a lot more up to date than Official and have the updates already included. I use Midnight Gapps myself. They're blacked out holo themed which is what I like. Use either Unofficial or Midnight and make sure to click the respected makers' thanks button.

Credits & Thanks
The PACman Team -- without them there wouldn't be this great rom to use and make for us.
The Razrqcom Dev Team -- without them we wouldn't have a kernel to use with PACman nor would we have any custom roms.
Dan Rosenberg -- He unlocked our bootloaders and gave us root. We wouldn't have crap if it weren't for him.
Faux123 -- because I'm using a lot of his kernel mods\patches. (not anymore, but probably will again)
Mattlgroff -- Awesome guy and is working hard on our recovery, both CWM and TWRP
The Midnight Gapps Team -- Not sure if that's the official team name, but thanks for the awesome inverted & Transparent gapps

Glad to hear is running good for someone that's not me.
I've forgot to add in the permissions for paranoid's properties.conf...fix is attached in the OP. Just flash it.
Next update to be major..currently compiling. If it finishes, we'll have Faux Sound Control, CPU Voltage Control, GPU Overclock, CPU Overclocked to 1.8 Ghz, Underclock to 192mhz*, and other misc fixes and tweaks.
Ended up having to hardcode O3 optimizations and linaro toolchain directly in the kernel makefile. For whatever reason, even though it was set that way in my board config the kernel would use O2 and arm-4.4.3 toolchain. O3 might hurt or help, we'll see.
*not in current compile, not hard to add in...had to stop cherry-picking and do some builds to make sure everything is going to work.

No idea on the gps. If I knew I'd tell everyone.
Not based on Echofive's...I build directly from source.
No need to flash a superuser zip.
Build with the above kernel changes done...gonna test after breakfast. If good I'll recompile with the latest sources and release that; if bad I'll revert the O3 kernel back to O2 and try again.

Sometimes in another phone (infuse 4g) this bug occurs when in the initial configuration I put another language. For example Spanish. The solution on that rom (infuse 4g). I installation again and in the initial configuration I put English in the languages , then maybe, you can enter to the system and perhaps you can use the system, to change the language, reboot in English and then you can change the language in the system settings (I don't know if this works on this rom)

Battery life is good and holding so far had one small issue I recorded video and when I tapped the gallery it froze and force stop had to report for the gallery to work other wise the ROM is smooth sailing

Mine keeps force rebooting then because of a previous issue which I don't know how to fix it goes to the fastboot screen and says flash failure. So I power down and restart with the volume keys depressed and do normal power up. Then it gets stuck at the m so I have to force a reset then do normal power up then it boots works for a bit then freezes and reboots.

Lol just saying if you dirty flash, you're gonna have a bad time. Everything's fine, finally working data on this with 4G too. Smooth sailing over here. HDR works fine. That wasp bug is really bothering me though, I'm getting a feeling that it won't get fixed till October. For me, battery sucks. Like I said, inconsistent bugs. Also, if anyone doesn't wanna flash the fix, fix is system/etc/paranoid /properties.conf rw-rw-rw or 0666

Is the issue of Bootloop when turning on the GPS resolved in this ROM?
Also, in the Screenshots above the ROM version shows as 4.2.2. Is this the correct screenshot?
Installed However......
Install went ok. Got stuck in boot screen the first time around then reinstalled a second time and it booted fine. Did not install gapps yet. Right now I see no access to system settings via icon in apps drawer or via menu. Ech install I've done full wipes.

As for all the tests I have been able to do with gps, if it doesn't bootloop when turned on, it does tend to try to run in in the background. So I recommend that you just turn it off then reboot. That way it doesn't even try to run (take up resources).

DEVICE DISCLAIMER:
I DON'T OWN THE DEVICE. TESTING ON THE SPECIFIC DEVICE WILL BE LIMITED TO TESTERS
Krexus was born out of a simple necessity. The latest releases of stock Android (namely lollipop and marshmallow) were pretty close to my idea of a perfect android ROM, yet missing some elements, which are meant to be included in stock Android, at least for me. Starting from a clean AOSP environment, only specific features and fixes are included, which are personally tested ON HAMMERHEAD, with one goal in mind. To create a stock like android ROM, "as it should be".
This means, and I mean it, a ROM like how stock nexus image should be, for me.
This isn't going to get bloated. Most UI "features" are already there.
This isn't going to start picking commits relentlessly, I will test them personally and only add things that 1) work like they should 2) would fit in a stock ROM.
This isn't going to be updated very quickly. Only security and bug fixes will be pushed out ASAP.
This is going to follow Google's & AOSP guidelines as closely as I can.
And lastly, this is first and foremost a ROM about Nexus 5 (hammerhead). This is my personal device, this is where I test the ROM. angler, bullhead, flo, MAKO, shamu builds are provided AS-IS. With that in mind, I have to say that the google+ community has been flashing mako builds for a looong time and hasn't come up with anything, so I thought I'd share it here, too.
That said, welcome aboard!

F.A.Q.
This will be the post where I am going to write any new updates for my ROM. First of all, welcome!
For mako's forums, this is a new ROM. But for Google+, it isn't. I have been testing it and releasing some builds in this private community, so make sure to ask to join for the latest info! I created this thread to let more people try my ROM, only now that I feel that it is in an almost perfect condition.
As as I said, my idea is to create a better stock ROM, and this is my target goal.
Another one of my target goals is to make the release of a new build almost automated. Right now, the compilation of the 6 devices build list is finishing, and is uploaded to basketbuild, using clever smart scripts. This also updates the changelog in my site, so I don't have to write a new post every time a new build is released. Everything should just work!
Speaking of releases, the ROM comes with an updater, so you don't even have to check the community or this thread for new links. But follow the pushbullet channel if you want!
I've been copy/pasting information for the past half hour, so this new thread is bound to have mistakes and inconsistencies. Let me know and I'll fix it!
Some other important points:
You have to flash SuperSU and GApps.
If you have a question, you should check out google+, in case it's there.
For the Devs: check my vendor folder, I have been developing some automation scripts which, I think, you will like!
I am an one man team, sorry for any slow responses.
Yes, this ROM is released for 6 devices, not mako or hammerhead only. You can grab the zips from Basketbuild. I haven't created XDA threads for the others (yet) because I don't own them, but I thought I should give a go at mako, since I owned the device before.
I hope you like the ROM!!!
Thank you very much for Krexus @KreAch3R , really love the stability, smoothness and simplicity...Krexy indeed! ?

Hahah thanks! Enjoy! :good::highfive:
Did a clean flash, stuck on bootloop. It's been on bootloop since last night. I will wait until I hear other people's experience with this ROM.

Hello! I'm sorry your first experience was bad. Please join the community so you can see other people's experience. Also, you can check the screenshots in DevDB to see that the ROM is booting.
Now, to troubleshoot. Did you try to flash only the ROM? If you did, check if your downloaded file matches this MD5: 8833b5804b786c6dbc4cc14f17b4486d And you don't need to let it one whole night bootlooping, stop it after 10min.

Many Thanks @KreAch3R!! I am downloading it again as I type. In the past I used to flash ROM, boot the ROM and then flash gApps. I encountered many FCs that way. Now I flash ROM and gApps(only playstore), opengapps pico to be precise. For previous ROMs it has worked, would you suggest flashing them seperately?
I will update this post in bit after the install. Hopefully it goes smooth!
Update: Perfect! booted up nice! Time to play around with it, Thanks again for this beauty!

Great! I hope you like it!
To answer your question: OpenGApps are definitely having SetupWizard FCing if you boot once before flashing them. I solve this by wiping data after the first boot.
I thought though that this happens with every GApps package on marshmallow (never tested it tbh). Isn't this the case? Which gapps have you flashed on Marshmallow roms that didn't do that?

None, I think they all do that. So far I tested Open and bAnks. Both didn't work when installed after booting the ROM.
The first time I was stuck on bootloop was because TWRP asked me to run Super SU script and I went ahead with it, this time I didn't run the script after ROM and GAPPS install. So far, I am liking everything. I still haven't had a chance to charge full battery and judge the battery stats but the performance and fluidity is spot on!

Ah, that's why. When you flash the latest SuperSU zips, they go systemless by default, so TWRP isn't detecting any SuperSU on system. TWRP is vey outdated on this front and Chainfire himself suggests never to press that button.
Regarding mako, krexus and a new battery
Great rom. Very smooth and bloat free.
2 things: i miss hide search from recents , the cm-style settings (redundant wifi / bt/ data switches at the top) are a jb/kk era throwback
Is the kernel based on Aldy's (minimal rom)? He has the best MM kernel for mako, in my testing.
Keep it up, all is well when the thread is quiet

Could someone tell me about this ROM? How is battery life?

After going through chroma, minimal, resurrection, fake, orion, back to minimal, chroma, and lastly Krexus.
I think I have finally quenched my flashing thirst with Krexus+Quanta v10. It's only been a day, so far its fluid, and battery is holding up pretty good. Minimal OS is pretty good as well I will admit but I flashed Krexus because the future of Minimal OS looked in doubt. Now that CallmeAldy is back at supporting Minimal OS, it will be a tough choice between Krexus and Minimal. :silly:

Hide searchbar is there, just in a different place. Look under apps--> default apps --> assistant & voice input --> show widget. That's where it is the perfect place for me. As for qs drawer, I don't want to move away from stock right now.
The default mako kernel is Aldy's marshmallow kernel, yes. Not AK, just the stock one he made so that a marshmallow ROM can boot.
I only include one in mako because it is needed. I go with stock Google kernels in all other devices.
& yeah, no news is good news in dev threads. It means no bugs

That is what I get from all my mako users too, that they have seen a greater fluidity and battery usage. You know how it's all personal etc, but I have heard it from all of them, so that's worth mentioning. I had a mako (now my brother's) and he says the same too.
My personal choice is Quanta as well. Perfect for my/his needs.
As far as choice, Minimal and Krexus are brothers (a lot of common code between us, as Aldy finds the time to update it and merge stuff). In some time, I suppose MininalOS is going to have a lot of krexus stuff and then some more, while I keep going the "better stock" way. So it's just about the ROM philosophy.
I'm loving this ROM, testing the battery life and enjoying so far. Just one issue that I noticed is tab style on Chrome it's not dettached in recents, it's like pre-Lollipop days.
I'll try it right now, but I can't find your custom setup for the stock of "Open-GApps" which you mention in the FAQs. I already applied to the Google+ Community, but I've to wait.
Thanks
EDIT: I found it, probably i misunderstood that this gapps package was personalized by you, hence I wasn't able to find it.
EDIT2: I flashed latest supersu 2.67, quantaV10 and nano gapps; So I may have problems with Layers because of supersu, right? that's what I understand from FAQs.

That's not a ROM's fault. Go into Chrome Settings and change it.

Which FAQs? I guess you mean both mine & Bitsyko's. This advice was given mainly to the newer nexuses (these are the ones over-reporting problems with systemless and layers). I have used systemless in the past and I had no problems. Right now, I have installed it on system (so it survives dirty flashes). You can do it in SuperSU settings.
I am using the ROM till morning and so far really great. I have only one wierd problem. Hangouts app is starting too long (compared to Chroma for example). I mean, on Chroma its like 2 sec, on Krexus its like 4 sec. Any ideas? I am using Quanta kernel.
