i want to remove thumbnails of all my contacts
and tell me good app by which i can sync my contacts data
such as mail id,date of birth,and images and other info

I am currently Syncing my contacts via Gmail. the thing that is causing problems is the contacts images. There only syncing on maybe 5 of the 20 contacts. All I have are gmail contacts on my phone and no other contacts. Anyone got any idea whats its only pulling some and not all of the google contacts images?
OK so here is my problem... I have all of my google contacts and such, everything that i manually put in and then i have my facebook contacts. They are separate entities meaning i can edit all of my google contacts but i am unable to edit any of my facebook contacts. So I would like to know if there is any way to dump all of my facebook contacts into my database of google contacts so that i can edit a few things... any ideas?

I have a problem with facebook sync and I've tried EVERYTHING, but no solution works for me. It just won't sync contact pictures (yes, I have both Facebook app sync & stock facebook sync). I downloaded SyncMyPix app, but it won't edit them because they are read only!

After the 5.1 update, i'm having some troubles with the contacts storage. I have a few problems, like:
- after the sync, I have a few duplicate contacts, wrong contacts picture and for some contacts are merged wrong...like 4-5 people merged in one contact
- if I hide some contacts (yahoo, skype etc) from contacts app, the modifications are not replicated in dialer app.
I already tried to reset my phone, clear data for dialer, contacts, contacts storage applications. Anyone else have this problems?

I had the same problem. If you have all your contacts synced online, the original contacts should stay as it is on Google contacts which you can see in your gmail on your PC . So go to the apps settings and clear contacts cache. That should delete all your contacts except for the ones saved in your sim card. Remove your google account from your phone and then log in again. Your contacts should get synced with the ones in your gmail. I tried this and most of the contacts were fixed but there are still some which are merged. For those, go to their contacts on your phone and there should be a separate option in your options. The merged contact will get separated. But I guess you will to have to individually do that for the contacts that are still merged.

If you have Sync.Me or similar app uninstall it. I think it started to mix contacts after Facebook changed something in API making those sync apps useless.
So my main goal is to sync my existing contacts with facebook so it will show their photos when someone calls or texts etc...
So in facebook there are three options:
Sync All - Sync data about all friends to contacts
Sync with existing contacts - sync data only about friends already in contacts
remove facebook data - remove facebook data from Contacts, Use information about friends only in facebook
Now, the second option seems to be the one I need, but what ends up happening is that ALL my facebook friends pour into my phone's contact list and it becomes a cluster. Why doesn't this work? Has anyone else experienced this?

Just open your contacts app and hit more/settings and tap on contacts to display and pick what contacts you want to show.
