Xperia SP Not Booting Up - Xperia SP Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi I have Xperia SP.
I have all stocked ROM Kernel Everything.
Yesterday night I switched off the phone and when i tried to boot it in morning it didnt started.
It vibrated once and then nothing.
I have faced this problem once also but that tine I have pressed the reset key and then keep the phone for some time and then I get started after 20 minutes.
But now it been 10 hours I have tried it many times but nothing happened.
I tried:
Reset button.
VOL up+ Power
Vol down + Power
Vol Up + Vol Down+Power
IF u say that take it to service center then dont reply.

Can you connect phone in flashmode and repair with PC companion, sus, flashtools.
Failing that service centre is only hope I think

They first replaced the battery and then also it didnt work. Then they replaced the whole motherboard. I dont know what happened to it.

I had this too when my phone's battery was completely dead It would just vibrate once the screen would turn black for 1 second and then turn off again I fixed it by leaving it plugged in for about 1 hour

I had this issue and sent back to Sony under warranty, had notice to say should be back in 24-72 hrs.
If you don't have option to send to Sony try phone store and get them to remove battery and flash stock again....or if feeling brave do your self

Glad you got it sorted.
How did you turn off as your original post said you couldn't, just in case it happens again to me when flashing mods.

i hold on the power button (sleep/wake button) and the off button at the back. i hold them at the same time. after feeling 3 vibrations, release the power button. the device should turn off now. when you feel one vibration. it doesn't turn off the phone. the phone will just boot up again.
isnt there a soft reset button on the back of the phone (you know the button you use a pen to press it).

Hi, I have the same issue and I try this solution but it didn't work for me.
Because I want to try the trinity vengeance rom and I'm scared that if I have a bootloop, I can't turn off my phone.
Sorry for my english ^^

Hi, your problem is solved?
Edit: I found the solution in the other topic in Q/A.
I hold the power button with volume up and the off button at the back.
I wait 3 vibrations and the phone turn off. Thanks to xda community

Thanks to your guides I have found out a full solution for this. I'm come from Trinity...'s rom and have bootloop too.
1. Keep the device connected with PC by USB cable
3. Open and prepare a firmware in Flashtool
4. Flashtool notifies to have your phone connected in flashmode --> It's time to go
5. Press and hold combination of Volume Down + Power + Reset
6. After 3 times vibrating with GREEN Led blinking, have your fingers relaxed and your SP's been in flash mode then :good:
7. Bear in mind that you should be careful for the next time playing with Rom and mods!

How do I do that?
First of all, when you repair your phone with Sony Update service, you will lose all your data!!!
- Charge your phone for 2 to 3 hours, you will only see the black screen but, it should charge.
- Download Sony Update Service, install and open.
- Choose XZ in the list.
- Plug in the data cable in your computer.
- Press and hold POWER and VOL+ button, phone will vibrate once, keep holding both buttons and you will feel 3 vibrations. Now, immediately press and hold the VOL- DOWN(-) button and plug in the data cable into your phone. Your phone should get detected by SEUS and then just repair it. If it doesn't get detected, try again.
Hope this helps

i am having a sony xperia z1 C6903. What happened to me was i connected my xperia with my laptop for charging and left home for about half an hour. after i came back i tried to put my xperia out of sleep, the charging orange LED was on at that time, but pressing the power button didn't respond, the screen didn't show anything, i thought my xperia has hanged so i plugged it out and forced it to shut down by holding power+vol up buttons together and after 2 or 3 secs, xperia vibrated 3 times and the charging LED was gone. since then i cant turn my xperia on nor it is showing charging. . i have tried every key combination like (vol up+power, vol down+power, holding down vol up+vol down+power) but nothing seems to work, i also tried the red reset button located beside the SIM card jack, it ain't working either. i am so much frustrated please please please help me my dad is gonna kill me plz plz plz i beg u all plzzzzzzzz help me ASAP plzzzzz....... :crying::crying::crying::crying:
download this

Connect the phone to the USB port Energy and push the red reset button located beside the SIM card jack repeatedly with pauses of 5 seconds until the phone starts.

Hello, I have similar problem with my Z1. One day it just stopped. I was filming something and when I was done I putted my phone in the pocket. When I got home tried to wake my phone up but nothing happened. Tried different ways to hard reset (every key combination that were suggested in the forums) but nothing worked. When I connect the charger only the orange led light is blinking and it doesn't do anything. When I connect the phone to the PC I can hear the sound of connected device but in a second or two it disconnects and connects again and that goes again and again.
I tried the suggestion that vicmam said but it didn't work.
Pls are there any other suggestions?
P.S. When I press Vol up + Power the phone doesn't vibrate as everyone is saying it should. The phone vibrates 3 times only if it's connected to the magnetic charger and I press those keys. But still nothing changes.

Press and hold red hard reset button for 15-20 seconds and then leave phone for 24+ hours then try to connect charger. You will see faint red notification led glow.
Works for me everytime give it a try..[emoji106]
Open the back of the phone up disconnect battery with usb charger connected then plug battery back in. This works for me.
hi my phone is not turning on i put it on the charge for 6 hrs the red light is still on and i tried to let it vibrate it didnt work either what should i do ??
Press power button only and HOLD IT WITH SELLOTAPE around the phone. Leave it for a few hours and soon it will begin to charge again. It sounds stupid but read this in a forum somewhere and it works every time!

X Performance Dual DEAD!! Help Please!!

So I have an X Performance Dual, today as I woke up in the morning I used my phone a while, I then went for a run I leave the phone unplugged and when I came back the phone wasn't turning on I managed to turn it off using the power button + Volume up key, after that it booted to the Xperia screen after that it turned off by itself and now is now charging, not being recognized by the pc on flash mode nor fastboot mode. what can I do?
HI
I have the same. Bootloader unlocked. Upgrading XZ rom and now not woring hopefully I can reset somewhere but no led/usb signals at the moment... Hopefully power will trigger a reset deep in the hardware....
press power button and hold volume up button same time for several seconds. You will feel it vibrate 3 consecutive times. This is a sort of reset with does not delete anything. It just seems to fix boot issues. Try it and see if this helps..
