Can i leave my xperia tx on charge overnight??
I know it will be charged in a couple of hours but it will still be left on charge for 7 or 8 hours more. Can i leave it like that.
Will it cause any problem to the phone or to the battery?
Thanks in advance

It will shorten the battery life no doubt, but since I've had my XT I've had it overnight charging everyday more or less, it isn't particularly noticeable for me...

Thanks 4 the reply. My Note ten month old and charging twice a day,600+ of charging,hehe...

Hm, 600 charging cycles that's a lot. Maybe your battery has already lost some of it's capacity. I'd replace the battery. I assume this will resolve the issue. My note does the same with one of my batteries.(got 2) but only when the batteey is down to 5 %.

normally battery waranty for half or one year?

Generally one year I'd say but the conditions are different depending on the country where you bought the phone.

I'm running the jellybean leak and have been HEAVILY using my phone for the last 2 hours. I was installing over 100 apps that I mistakenly deleted yesterday. Well as you can see in the screen shots, even with heavy usage I'm still on par for 4 hours screen on time. Cheers!
Says 2 hours of screen time.

I think he was saying he had only used up 50% of the battery, so he should get 4 hours

You can use cpu spy to check wether your deep sleep mode is working.

This is what i got from cpu spy
I think its working so could it be now only battery problem

Mostly it is a battery issue! So buying a new one would solve the problem!
But before buying a new one just check if the old one is bulging from the flat surfaces on both sides!
if it is bulging, then it is definitely a battery issue and u need to replace it!
And usually Samsung batteries don't last for more than a year! I have changed my battery twice!
Just check and let me know!

For the people that have the phone. What kind of screen-on time are you getting?
Edit: Can you also specify if your on LTE, WiFi etc..
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
I'm averaging 15.5 - 17 hours on a charge with about 3 hours screen on time.
Sent from my XT1058 using Tapatalk 2
You need to realize that the motoX screen on times will mostly report lower and be inaccurate to compare with other phones simply because of active notifications lights up only part of the screen, saving the need to power on the screen entirely to register as a full power on. The best number to use is how long can you go between charges with an average day of use, but it will still be an inexact science and vary greatly. I'd say anything above 15+ hrs after moderate and heavy use is the real deal.
I've gotten over 3 hours if screen time and battery at 55%. I'm very impressed.

That is remarkable.
I know it seems like a silly question. But should I wait to charge my phone when its at a certain percentage?? (Min vs Max)
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using xda app-developers app
I usually charge under 30 percent battery life ,sometime i do a quick charge before living the house just to make sure it wont die on me ,and never have any problem
Thank you:thumbup:

Batteries these days dont have the "battery memory" like they used to. Random charging or charging at any percentage isn't going to hurt the battery or the phone. I generally keep my phone on the charger during the day until I first leave the house and dont put it back on till I go to bed.
