You can use cpu spy to check wether your deep sleep mode is working.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium

This is what i got from cpu spy
I think its working so could it be now only battery problem

Mostly it is a battery issue! So buying a new one would solve the problem!
But before buying a new one just check if the old one is bulging from the flat surfaces on both sides!
if it is bulging, then it is definitely a battery issue and u need to replace it!
And usually Samsung batteries don't last for more than a year! I have changed my battery twice!
Just check and let me know!

[Q] battery problem

Hey guys i am still a noob and flashed 2.3.4 XXJVR succesfully and now rooted it. But i noticed this when my sgs ia fully charged and got the "battery fully charged unplug charger" message i unplug it but when i unplugged it when i see the battery widget (i use battery life) it does not show 100 % it just show 95 or 97 % or any other ranging from 90 till 99 %. Anyone know what this problem is? Can anyone help me fix this ? One more thing.. Is this a batery problem(battery is leaking) or should i re-calibrate the battery?
Help please!

Don't worry it isn't the battery. It's a known problem. It can't be fixed at the moment.

Even by re-calibrating the batery won't fix it ?

It does not hurt to try, does it? Also, when you change roms that could happen. So yeah, try to re-calibrate.

Thanks 4 the reply. My Note ten month old and charging twice a day,600+ of charging,hehe...
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
Hm, 600 charging cycles that's a lot. Maybe your battery has already lost some of it's capacity. I'd replace the battery. I assume this will resolve the issue. My note does the same with one of my batteries.(got 2) but only when the batteey is down to 5 %.

normally battery waranty for half or one year?

Generally one year I'd say but the conditions are different depending on the country where you bought the phone.

Seems fine. What do you want to hear?
I'm thinking to update to v10f, root, install the deodexed version and remove LG apps to have less android OS usage and battery improvement, also it warms up so that's one of the points I want to rid off.
Iy is recomended to do so or i must keep my rom as it is?
Sent from my LG-P880 using Tapatalk 2
Have u tried anythng?
As much as i have noticed - Android System is always high but still what drains battery like crazy is games..
So i assume even in your case that game is real culprit.
Any update?
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app
not bad i think, tegra is kinda a battery saving cpu, but not when playiing games
I'm on v10h now, let me use the battery down to 5% and I'll upload the results
Sent from my LG-P880 using Tapatalk 2
Please do post ur results.
Also if possible also try with nvidia tegra supported hd games like dead trigger.

4.0.3 isla buggy from android AOSP, so in my opinion, when we get JB all this issue will disappear.
Now I'm dreaming for a Note 2

Battery life on HTC one?

How is battery on this thing? I guess that screen must be pretty powerhungry.
