Anyone have any experience with the Otterbox Defender case? On mine, touch responsiveness is pretty bad through the screen protector, and I'm Wondering if it's a manufacturing defect on mine, or if everyone's is like that.

Yeah, I got the Defender because I wanted the built in screen protector. I'll just email otterbox and see what happens.

I've been looking around for a good anti-glare screen protector for my T-Mobile HD2 but I don't know which is good. I can't see anything on my HD2 when i'm out in the sun. I've heard lot about Zagg Invincishield but are they effective in the sun? Any suggestions??

Work graveyard like me.
The only time I have to worry about glare is when I'm using the phone directly under the sun. Which is never. I'm always in my car, building, home, etc etc.

Well, here's the steps to reduce glare.
1. Lay down on the ground
2. Point the back of the HD2 towards the sky
3. Glare-free!
You must do this everytime you get a text message!

You just need to find the matte finish style. The protectors that Tmobile sells specifically for the HD2 are matte. The downside is they are 15 bucks for three of them... No glare though. You can probably find some matte ones on ebay.
I just bought 2 anti-glare screen protector from Clarivue for like 10 bucks. The good thing about it is that it has a lifetime warranty and I heard their anti-glare works good. I'll update after I test them out.

15 bucks for TWO of them. And yeah, they're nice and matte and do a great job of antiglare. They're also very easy to remove and replace.

I'm not sure how that specific one is, but i just got myself their snap-fit shell case (http://www.boxwave.com/samsung-nexu...amsung-nexus-s-snap-fit-shell/bwpdd/tzw-zfkz/) and it looks / feels pretty good on first impression.
I also got their cleartouch crystal screen protector and my screen finally looks gorgeous (like it always had, whenever I'd peel off my old protectors).
the cleartouch protector doesn't reach until the top and bottom edges of the phone - but that's probably a good thing, because the NexS has a curved glass.

@Rooster85
It looks like you already have this case. Can you post pictures of it? even empty ones. Is it matte? Or transparent? Also, which SNS model do you have?
So I'm just wondering how is everyone using their tablets.
Screen protector or no or are you using an alternative method like crystalusion.
Pros of a naked screen:
Better screen display quality.
the true naked feel
Cons of no screen protector:
risk of scratches
constantly wiping fingerprints.
what is the community doing now, let's collect few response and try to put them in one place.
Will be putting a Ghost Armor (screen only) on this week when it comes in, got a kiosk in Calgary to order it in.
I put the SGP screen protector on and I like it. I don't notice a drop in quality at all as it's not a matte protector. With that said fingerprints are just as bad as the naked screen.

Naked But Crystalusion does sound very interesting...
Edit: It sounds really interesting actually I almost want to buy it and just put it all over my entire Nexus 10, but would it affect the grip-ability of the back too much?

It seems to be about $21 to order it ($18 off ebay); seems like a 1-pack-1-device kind of thing though... (I have quite a few things I'd love to use it on, but can't really spend around $20 per device though)
I emailed the manufacturer of Crystalusion about my concern with the rubber back grip; hopefully they respond with something positive though
I've tried protectors before and they all seem to stink. They feel like rubber or take scratches poorly and dirt builds up around their edges.
My Galaxy S3 and my Asus TF201 never got a scratch. My TF201 did shatter but no screen protector was going to stop that.

Thank for the heads up on the thread, after reading I feel less appealed to Crystalusion, best keep it simple with screen protectors.
naked...gorilla glass 2.
I will put a case on, but I'm not concerned about the glass. Having owned other gorilla glass products I've never had a scratch..
Crystalusion sounds interesting, but I'll say it again that we need that self-healing stuff. Anyone have any idea about if/when we might see self-healing coatings?
Here's some questions I emailed to Crystalusion and the responses I got:
Q: My main concerns are how the liquid glass might affect the grip-ability of the Nexus 10 backing with it being rubber.
A: Even though it can be applied on the rubber and would not damage it in anyway. Crystalusion specifically has been designed to treat hard surfaces and therefore in your case would be better suited to protecting your screen. I say your case since it can be applied to the back of devices like the iphone etc...
Q: Another concern is how the liquid glass might affect speaker grills and the very tiny gaps between where the screen and sides meet, and for the buttons (volume and power). Ports are also a slight concern, and the bottom of the Nexus 10 also has an area for POGO pins.
A: We have solved this problem with our application method. Crystalusion comes in a pre-coated micro fibre cloth to specifically avoid the problem you are talking about. Even though the liquid itself wouldn't damage the inside parts of your device.
Q: Would the liquid glass prevent contact on the POGO pin area?
A: No this would not happen.
We have several customers who have applied Crystalusion to their tablets however I am not sure whether these have been Nexus 10s... Also just to let you know as a raw chemical Liquid Glass ranks higher in strength than guerilla glass does, and with Crystalusion specifically the main benefits being it is anti-bacterial as well as being an award winning nano-technology in addition to other features such as anti-abrasion.

My vote is nay. Get a good case. The screen is gorilla glass and pretty tough. If the case does not protect the screen, I doubt a screen protector will

fair enough. I wonder when will those smart cases come out.
How stupid can one be to not cut away the top right corner flap and use the original protector without hindering the experience?
Although economical, the plastic screen that comes with the nexus 10 probably won't protect against scratches. But it could work if you're careful

I really like to have a tempered glass at the back of the device as I only use frame without the back. I don't want to give up on the look of device and feeling of the glass. However, I'm not able to find one on the market yet.
You're better off getting a dbrand.com skin.

I'm with you OP, would love to see a tempered glass protector for back as well. I don't use a case (never have) so a glass protector will give the same feel with added protection and might be a bit better in hiding the fingerprints.

Looks pretty neat. Available for US$20/20€.
i am holding off until i see some reviews. looks great but also looks like it will not work with cases.
Waiting for reviews...
this product looks EXACTLY THE SAME as the aftermarket ones being sold right now.
also, the "curved" probably refers to the curved edges of the tempered glass itself, NOT to the glass curving to fit the phone's curved screen.

Btw a bit expensive, not? I'll wait to see some review.
The OG tempered glass from OP for the OP3 is dog ****.
I am very disappointed as it does not even cover the whole screen!
Well i believe it won't work nicely with the back covers like Spigen Ones.
Waiting for the white version and the Reviews
I've tried screen protectors with edge to edge coverage and they gradually form cracks over time. I've had no such issues with non edge to edge screen protectors, this is pretty unfortunate. I wonder if this would do any better.
I've waited for a proper 3D TGSP and would order this, but waiting for the payday
I'm counting on this official protector.
Wonder if this is like the others which don't have adhesive on the clear part.
I just spoke with oneplus customer support and they said that the screen protector has adhesive on the whole surface of the screen protector. But, I am not 100% confident in their response. Will have to wait and see the reviews

Yeah, I'm not confident either lol. It's a shame it has to be that way.
I currently have a wet-install film on my screen because all the tempered glass options have shoddy reviews. The film went on perfectly and is nearly invisible, but I just don't feel as comfortable with it.
