Did you try to move that one app to SD Card?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
yes i can move to sd card, but this strange memory filling is just happen only on 4.3 jb , by just installing 4 to 10 app like, root explorer , facebook, nova pro, beautifulW, etc, very small apps and it show almost i used 800 mb to 1 gig and i love your beanstalk ROM, which is best 4.3 i ever use and the same thing going on again , now i am on 4.2.2 and i install same above application and few games, and its around 468mb used
anyone can clear my question

Why don't you give people a chance. You just opened it YESTURDAY.

May be if it was more informative. Apps don't change size depending on ROM. So have you used any file explorer to see if you have logs filling in or lost+found folder. SD maid like apps.

Hey Guys
Had this Phone little under a week now, updated to ICS on the day it arrived and rooted it end of last week anyway tried installing a ad-blocker and it said system memory was low, did a check using QtADB and that reports that I have 484.38 KiB left, this can't be right can it? It's saying I've used 818.47 MiB Just on system partition? Is this right or?
Thanks

when you have rooted...why not try a custom rom ???
and try App2SD and send all your user apps with Data to your SD card...
I rooted thurs/friday + I'm quite happy with stock at the moment, until Jelly Bean is hopefully developed + It's not the user/data apps or that Its just the System Partition apps the built in ones..

it could be, Samsung stock roms are huge, you may want to check check Root App Delete (or any other solution) to free some space on the system part by removing few unnecessary apps/widgets/animated wallpapers of your choosing

I got a touch pad running jcsullins cm10 andi am in love with it. I noticed I'm on 12-11-12 release and saw there is a 12-16-12 release. What is the easiest way to update it? I have the zip saved already.

Make sure you have a backup, just in case. Wipe cache and Dalvik, flash in cwm, using install zip from sd card. Reboot and you should be all set.

Just flash with whatever recovery you are using TWRP /CMW I assume you originally used acmeinstaller 3.

It was installed when I bought the touch pad last week. I'm assuming I reboot into recovery and install the zip from cwm. Just wanted to be 100%. Any idea what the difference is between the release on the 11th and the one on the 16th?
If you DL an app called Quick System Info pro (It's free) it will show you the size of your system storage which should be around 400mb as you can see from the screenshot mine is 394 , it's worth checking just for peace of mind.

Think I may be in trouble here's what mine reads.......
SD STORAGE- 25.52 GB
A2SD STORAGE- 727MB
INT STORAGE- 1.48 GB
SYSTEM STORAGE- 299MB
I have the 12-11 release on and its fairly stable. I can't complain. Worried about storage size differences....
As everything seems to be working fine I would stay as you are and get familiar with this Rom and Tablet. Then have a read of this post just the first page it gives really good instructions and has a video tutorials plus links to all the files that you would need to upgrade to acmeinstaller 3.
PS if you DL the app I suggested you will see space used/available as seen in the photo
If you have any problems just post in this thread or pm .

Thanks,
Smitie

I used "cm-7.1.0-tenderloin-data_plus_2048mb-signed.zip" to increase INT Storage to 3.48 and System Storage 23.52. Using jcsullins Jelly Bean and very happy.

NO !! but you need to copy all of your ANDROID folder into external card otherwise your earlier installed apps will not work (after swapping)
There are two apks posted which swapand swap back.I'm using them on jb. They are superb. Have 64gig internal now. Nothing was lost. Took 1min

Hi I am not allowed to post in the developers section yet.
Can one of the users of the new Slim ROM or Cyanogen Mod roms for Locked bootloader tell me if they also implement or allow Apps2SD or do you have to use either Folder Mount or Link2SD.
Thanks very much

I've didnt see such option from time when internal memory get more than 5GB.
Only whith apps 5GB of memory is enough. Link2SD or Integrated Apps2SD moved only APK files and datas like saves which is also stored in internal memory. For data files (games obb files for example) you have to use apps like Folder Mount, or mount folders by ownmade script, or "from finger" in Terminal Emulator.
That's a shame I'll stick with stock running version . 257

internal is more than enough... theres app called app2sd or link2sd... those should do it.. but things u have to rmember.. why sony dont put app into sd is it will make the app run slower n laggy... bcos the pathways is bcame complex and the read/write from external is much more slower than internal.. just put music n photo to external.. clear everything except apps into it.. that should do it
That confirms to me that I should stick with what I have currently.

Hi,
I am running Neo's Homebuild of CM12.1
And right now I am running into space problems.
As you know the internal storage of the XV is formatted as 2GB and 4GB partitions. System and Apps are installed onto the 2GB partition. The 4GBs are mostly unused, since I save my pictures to en external SD-card.
Now I was wondering if it is possible to change the filesystem layout to have just one big internal storage to solve my space issue.
Kind Regards

this is more risky (if you do mistakes) then our method... also you can get even more space from your external-sdcard
