If drivers dont automatically install, you can do it manually.
1. download latest lg drivers click here.
2. extract the .msi.
3. Go to your device management -> view tab -> show hidden devices. Uninstall previous optimus drivers.
4. Now manually start installing. First put the phone in usb battery mode , install driver . Then in lg mode, install driver. Then in adb mode and fast install driver from fastboot drivers attachment here which is taken from another thread in here ( choose x86 or x64 depending what windows you are on ). unplug usb and plug it back in.
5. repeat this procedure until u have set all drivers correctly. ignore if your windows dont like the drivers. just force them in. Dont do any mistake to install other drivers for other purpose. the adb drivers are in fastboot file here and the phone drivers are in lgunited... folder.
When everything is set , you can do anything u like. No need reboot the pc. Only windows xp and vista need reboot.

my galaxy tab p1000 not recognized in download mode when im using odin...
can anybody help me iwant to reflash my tab...
Did you try to flash it anyway? Just keep trying. Good idea to be fully charged too.
Sent from my GT-P1000 using XDA
boss ill try it a couple times but cant read my device i want to reflash my tab is bricked....uhuhuh
many has done it.
As long as you can go to download mode, you are not bricked.
remember to have it charged for at least 4hrs.
Just connect it to Odin preferably at the same USB port as the one you used before.
Reboot it to download mode while data cable is connected, then try Odin.
Connecting in Download Mode
I had the same problem when i changed laptop. So on my new machine, the PC would not recognize my P1000 in the download mode. I was running win xp.
The problem was that it wasn't able to automatically locate the drivers. No wonder it wasn't. The drivers aren't built in to xp driver cache. So here is what you need to do:
Download Samsun Kies from samsung website. Do a search on google and you'll get to it.
Once downloaded, install Samsung Kies. No need to run it or anything. Once downloaded, plug that tab in download mode to USB of PC, and it will get detected and the drivers will get installed.
I still have KIES installed, but i never used it, i just installed it for the drivers.
Let me know if this helped.

Hi Dude,
Instead of installing Kies on your XP or windonws 7 for only driver, you can install driver using below guide.
Go to Google and search as Galaxy Tab Driver and go...Click Modaco Website & then Download.
Regards,
Venkat
Overcome's GB-stock-safe-v5 zip package contains USB drivers too, both 32bit and 64bit.
But the best is of course in linux, just a single line of definition in udev.
same here - SOLVED
I had the same problem (not recognized).. What I did to resolve the problem by:
1. Re-install Samsung USB drivers (got from here --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1881981)
2. Set the tab in DL mode and connect to the PC... wait for windows to install drivers.... DONE!
3. Startd Odin_v1.83.. CONNECTED!!! (seen by yellow COM#)
Hope this helps.. HIT THANKS PLS!

I understand from the text you do not have the pc .. samsung drivers.... Install the samsung kies...Turn on samsung kies and connect phone ...... looks drivers.....then flash through odin
i did it. But nothing. My mini it's blocked.
are you able to boot into recovery? (vol up + home + power)
When Try with "Odin"... So If doesn't find a Smartphone... You must Install "Samsung USB Drivers" http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2038555...
When If you have a Bricked Smartphone... When you can try My Method -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49256764&postcount=9 (That's works and Most Important without "NAND Erase all")
When How do you had a Stock Firmware... [When It's a depend for a Safe-Return Back if you Forget to delete data/cache/darvik]
When If you want to download stock ROM That's must be included with .zip [.md5 with ~470mb (ROM with Stock Recovery)] - I Have a Stock ROM for Backup [Actually...] And That's works...
If you can boot to Download mode, it's good enough.
In Windows, from Control Panel, Admin Tools, Device Manager: with the phone plugged in, you should be able to detect it.
It'll have a problem icon (A little yellow triangle with '!'); with right click, choose to uninstall driver then plug out.
When pluggin the phone in, Windows will reinstall the drivers.
At least, it should.

have u tried other USB port ?
Drivers installed properly?
Remove Sonymobile drivers and reinstall them.
This should do the trick. I also advice you to restore your device on a Windows 7 machine. I am unable to restore mine on my Windows 8.1 machine and I have to use the one from my sister to restore my device.
Sounds like you are using Windows 8/8,1
Try again on a Windows 7 machine.

Ohhhhh is there any way to do it?
Or need to restore windows 7?!
There is a way. Download stock FTF, install flashtool on a Windows 7 device and restore.
Windows 8/8.1 got problems with the drivers. These problems cause connection issues with your Xperia SP and Flashtool

On flashtool official download site, go to FAQ, it has instruction on how to install drivers on Windows 8.
http://www.flashtool.net/disabledrivers.php
*However, I tried it myself, but wasn't able to get it to work. (most likely because of my AMD USB filter driver problem)
You can check it out and try.
Are you using Windows 8.1 64bit? if that is the case, I can help...I have a solution. but first I have to go back to my home. the main thing is you have to uninstall USB driver from Microsoft and install modified intel driver for this purpose...

I will be there for 20 days and i need phone -.-!
Alright lets do the following things:
- Remove Flashtool and its drivers
- Reboot pc
- Follow this to install Flashtool and the drivers correct: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2095087 (only the drivers required for Flashmode and Fastboot)
- Reboot again
- Connect phone in Flashmode (dont open flashtool) and let it install the drivers
- Reboot again
- Connect phone in Fastboot (dont open flashtool) and let it install the drivers
- Reboot (last time) again
- After reboot, open Flashtool and connect phone in flashmode (dont do anything) and wait a few minutes. Via the log of Flashtool you should be able to see if the phone is connected properly and if the phone stays connected
- Try to flash a Stock ROM and see what happends
If above fails then you can try to use compatible mode (flashtool.exe > Rightmouse button > Properties > Compatible mode > Windows 7)

I recomend you to install flashtool and unlock the bootloader with it ("BLU") it is easier and faster,
To install the usb drivers I also got problems, do one thing this is how I got it to work.
connect the phone with fastboot button pressed, the PC will ask for drivers and will open the "new hardware assistant" do not allow it to install them automatically, do it manually and sellect the folder where you downloaded the drivers, in some point the phone will power off as it doesn´t get any response from PC (this is why it was not installing them properly in may case) just before pressing ok connect again in fastboot (and close the new prompt of "new hardware assistant" let the old one install the drivers and will do it properly.
Still have a problem with drivrer installation
I've try to install driver from.exefile in C:/flashtool/drivers
And I've done it with no error but I still cant install the"S1 Fastboot driver"
I dont know what to do so I try Unlock through Flashtool and I got this message(see the attached picture)

You need to install the drivers after disabling driver signature enforcement in Windows 8. If I remember correctly, I got it working by just installing the Fastboot and TX drivers from Flashtool. I did it about a year ago, so I'm not sure if Flashtool can correctly unlock bootloader already (it couldn't when I did it), so I would suggest just using fastboot.exe the way it is described in the official Sony page.
By the way: are you sure your bootloader can be unlocked?

Xiaomi redmi note 9 pro, PC don't see device in bootloader

Hello, i got a problem. When i'm turning my xiaomi into fastboot mode my pc doesnt see it. In "normal" mode i can see it, get files from it etc. When i connected my dad xiaomi(same model as mine) it works so its not problem with pc but with my phone probably. What can i do?
Hello ,
your problem is very simple to resolve, its because you didn't install the right drivers, either manually search for in, or use my solution , :
1-Download driver booster from the official website (free version)
2-plug in your smartphone.
3-performe an automatic driver search , from the result select ONLY the driver related to your device , then let it download and install
4-do whatever you was going to do.
5-if it still doesn't recognize it do the same thing with fastboot On, you're good to go.
PS : that worked for me with fastboot On then scan and install.

It says that the drivers are good. I can't do this in fastboot because my pc don't see my phone in fastboot mode, there are not anything in device manager too
Still Try to do it in fasboot, it will work , it worked for me.
Go to tools in driver booster , then clean the devices , turn in fast boot mode , then search for drivers
if it doesnt work you'll have to download manually compatible MTK drivers.

I believe i had a similar issue as you. Except that i had no second device that was same model to test it out. But the rest was in pair with your explanation. I tried installing the latest drivers from the official xiaomi website, removing the old drivers and reinstalling them, restarting laptop, enabling usb debugging on phone...whatever i thought would work but none helped.
Eventually i had it working by installing the latest fastboot driver: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1D96njoYn-n3alu3ggaK3Kw8hMGLKhJVg
After installing it go to Device manager, then under Other devices you will see your Redmi note 9 pro. Right click -> Update Driver -> Browse my computer for drivers.
Select as folder the folder from the drive that you installed, should be named "Fastboot driver-20230301T161058Z-001" or just "Fastboot Driver", it will automatically search for the desired file "android_winusb.inf". Afterwards just press next. Your device should appear in device manager under Android Phones -> Android Bootloader Interface.
Open CMD and check if your device is now under fastboot devices. At least it worked for me. Managed to disable OEM and install the Google Pay app.
