Hi,
So... basically I rooted my sprint S4, and I put Goomanager, TWRP, and Cyanogenmod 10.1 on it. I downloaded all the files and installed all of it what I thought was the correct place. So I cleared all my data in TWRP and flashed Cyanogenmod and what I thought was the correct and most recent gapps, then I rebooted it. Seemed fine but I have no Google accessibility no contacts/apps/play store nothing. Ok fine just go back and reflash gapps and I'm gold... Turns out I did not have goomanager/twrp on my sd card so they are gone. So i have no custom recovery to load my backup of my factory settings, no way to download goomanager on my phone (I even tried the akp file and it just say "unfortunately google play has stopped") and can't find files to flash them on in ODIN mode even... HELP!!!
Any answers or help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a problem, I'll explain everything I did in details as better as I can and I please someone for help. (I'm actually new here)
My phone is Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570I. I had official 2.3.6 Gingerbread.
Two days ago I rooted my phone, and installed ClockworkMode. I have downloaded CM9 first (it didn't work, it said 'error') and CM10 and Google Apps file later because I wanted to update my phone to 4.0 or 4.1 version (I tried both, it didn't work), and I did everything the way it was explained, wiped data and all, just it didn't want to install CM. So I went to sd card on my phone, and I wanted to delete those files, so I mistakenly deleted some other file, its name was something like 'DiskCache (something like that and then some numbers). I have too more files like that one: 'DiskCacheIndex1670764618.tmp' and 'DiskCacheIndex-2046711179.tmp'. What are those files?
Then I downloaded JellyBlast V3 for S5570I from this site and went to CWM and then I couldn't wipe data and dalvik cache, it said 'error in (something) but I flashed/installed JellyBlast anyway, it was succesful, but when starting it was stuck on boot, logo was starting over and over again for a half an hour. So I took the battery out and put it back, and went to CWM and tried to reflash JellyBlast, but I got the same result.
Later, I succesfully flashed 2.3.6v of Gingerbread with Odin. (found it here)
Now the problem is in my internal memory. I have only 21mb free space of 190 total, and apps I have on my phone are: FB app, one game (45mb), Google Play app, and Service for Google Play app. But before I tried to install that JellyBlast I had 60mb free space and more games/apps installed. And that's very weird to me, how is that possible? Because all of my songs and pictures are on sd card. I was thinking, maybe something wrong happened because I deleted that one cache file by mistake, but it shouldn't be I think, am I right?
Can someone help me? I'm scared now to flash again, and I don't want to have my phone bricked. I would really appreciate some help.
Thanks in advance!
Didnt hear anything about diskcache named file before
Try wiping data from stock recovery
Hi, I'm a noob for messing with my phone.
Although I have googled for 7+ hours I have found nothing that helped me, only things that **** me over.
So here is the story:
I decided to install Cyanogenmod 10 on my device. That worked out okay and stuff, but I couldn't install gapps. It said everything was ok but when i started CM10 gapps wasn't there. I tried 10-20 diffrent versions of CM10, all with gapps and diffrent versions of gapps but it didn't work.
Then I installed CWM. I installed CM10 + Gapps with CWM. Then I tried rebooting my device. CWM booted up. CWM boots up everytime I try to boot the device. I googled and found a file, exitrecovery.zip. I installed that via CWM but it didn't work. So, after some more googleing I found a thread on here that said to flash Boot_loader.tar onto my phone via Odin Multi Downloader. Of course, I messed that up. I tried to flash it using "PDA" instead of "BOOT". So that didnt work. I flashed it again using "BOOT" but now it shuts down after the Samsung text on screen.
I am about to attempt to flash the stock OS into my device using the Package option in Odin (Luckily Download mode still works).
Is using Package the correct way to flash the stock OS into my phone?
When I have it working again I want to install CM10 with gapps. Why didn't gapps install?
How can I install gapps correctly?
How do I get out of the CWM boot loop?
Someone please help me because I don't know what to do anymore!
EDIT: Succesfully flashed in stock firmware. But how do I install CM10 and have gapps working?
Thanks in advance,
-Spore
Easyest way to rescue your phone is to flash 3 file ROM with pit and re-partition.
one of many guides is here
Use one of multicsc ROMs (i'd use JVZ)
Then it gets little tricky when getting to CM10
First of all flash semaphore kernel for JVZ (google it)
Then I'd go through CM9 stable to CM10. Flashing guides are easy to find
Edit. Maybe u're using wrong Gapps? for CM10 gaps are from 20120606 (or something like that - newest are for cm10.1)
Got it working!
I figured everything out on my own.
Here's how I did it for anyone with the same problem:
Download the files ill list below.
Put them all on your phone's internal SD
Boot into Recovery Mode
Install CMW6014-TOUCH-CM9recovery.zip
Reboot into Recovery Mode
Clear everything.
Install cm-10-20130130-ivendor-alpha7-ariesve.zip
Install gapps-jb-20121011.zip
Reboot.
And you're done!
Files are listed down below. Since I'm a new user i have to put a dot in the URL.
The only other file you'll need is fs1.d-h.st/download/00026/J34/cm-10-20130130-ivendor-alpha7-ariesve (dot) zip
does this work for cm9?

Hello, thank you for posting this. I noticed that the one file that you said we should download looks like it is for cm10. is that correct? I have cm9.
Also, what do you mean by "clear everything"?
{EDIT} I figured it out. For any other user that has this problem-- you must ensure that you are using the correct version of gapps as others have noted.
In OP's answer to his own question, he used cm10. and the appropriate gapps for jelly bean. That didn't work for me since I was using ICS. Do not use the file he listed for cm10 unless you mean to install that specific version of cm10, which probably won't work for your phone.
Also, google took about 6 hours to recognise my account on the play store. This is apparently a common issue, and I have read multiple threads where people are not seeing their device linked up to their account after upgrading to custom ROMs. The play store app worked on my phone, but not when using an outside device linked to that account (my desktop). I called google support and they said that they had no idea what was wrong, 3 hours later, it just started working.
So be patient if you do not have the option to use the play store from outside sources right away.

Hi guys, I have the Samsung Galaxy S4 Rogers Canadian version that came with TouchWiz out of the box. When I heard that 4.3 Jellybean was out, I immediately tried looking for a guide to flash my S4. In the end, I flashed it, everything seems to be working, but I am not sure If i flashed it the right away. This isn't my main problem, just summarizing what i have done to my phone incase it might help.
So my problem is, I can't flash my phone with CyanogenMod 10.2. I went into recovery mode with CWM and I erased Data, cache and delvik cache. Install from external SD zip --> clicked the CM 10.2 Nightly file and it installs. Rebooted phone and it wouldn't boot up, samsung logo would show up but it would just turn off right after. After that i went into recovery mode and deleted the delvik cache and rebooted and to no avail, same thing happened.
So in my head, i was thinking that maybe its not working because i flashed the stock 4.3 wrong. So i downloaded a stock 4.2.2 Rogers Canadian Rom and tried doing the same procedure to install that, but this time i got an error saying (might not be the exact error, just thinking from the top of my head) " E: can't open /external_sd (bad)" I had researched this error and people were telling me it was from a corrupted file, so I downloaded another one. This time it didn't say anything, just said "Aborted (sorry somewhere along those lines i completely forgot)"
Please, please help me. I am so frustrated and confused.

Unfortunately this forum is for the S4 Active, model numbers i537 and i9295. Try again in the S4 forums and you'll be more likely to find someone that knows your device!
Thanks for the heads up didn't realize I posted in the wrong section. If a mod could please move my thread that would be appreciated, thanks
Here are two posts I posted on another site. If someone could help me out here, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Galaxy s3 mini GT-I8190L and I tried rooting and installing Kitkat but I've been having some issues.
Here is what I did:
Downloaded Odin and Kies (for the phone drivers, Kies was closed while using Odin)
Downloaded CMW Recovery and a root.zip file
Flashed CMW and placed the root.zip on extSD card.
In Recovery mode, backed up system then installed the root file.
Downloaded Root Checker and it said I have root.
Then downloaded slim4.4_golden.nova.20140630.zip and a gapps file and placed them both on the extSD.
Using Recovery (Vol Up+Home+Power), wiped data and davika (whatever it's called) and then flashed slim4 file. But I got an error.
I then tried cm11.0_golden.nova.20140823.zip which went smoothly and then gapps-kk-20140606-signed.zip but in middle it stopped with an error and said something about process 7 (I think).
Anyone know what I should do? Would it be better to go through Odin instead of Recovery (using Odin compatible files, of course)?

Changed to TWRP2
Backed up all data then did a full format incl. chache and davlik.
Then installed th SlimKAT file and gApps.
(I did NOT format chache after install)
Rebooted pone and saw Galaxy sIII mini screen like normal then cam SlimKAT logo (replacing Samsung's) but it just remained on the flashing SlimKAT logo.
I removed the battery and restored the phone using TWRP Recovery.
I then downloaded Nova Fusion's CM11 for s3 mini and tried flashing it but I got a Failed message. This happened with a number of Nova's files, including the latest (cm11.0_goldem.nova.20140830.zip)
I tried downloading the Odin version but for some reason it keeps stopping in middle (and I don't have unlimited internet and can't keep downloading files).
Didn't think this should be so hard...
Any help would be appreciated!
Please note, during part of this time I was unable to get into DOWNLOAD or RECOVERY modes. I ended up removing the battery and that helped, but for only one time. I had to remove the battery a number of times to get into these modes.
If you need more info, I will try to give it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

CWM doesnt support KitKat, you need TWRP or Philz touch.
or flash via odin
Hi guys, I did a terrible mistake.
Currently I was using my S3 i9305 with AICP 10. To update with the OTA they require TWRP and I thought, why not changing from CWM 6.0.4.7 to the most recent TWRP so that the update process will go fully automatic.
I downloaded the App, but didn't make a Nandroid backup before. Then I installed the proposed TWRP version for my phone. After that the Phone restarted and was stuck at the samsung-logo - restarting every 5 seconds.
So what do I have now?
I have a phone that goes until the bootanimation of ACIP. But then it is looping. ... for hours. I can go into download mode and I already got access to TWRP or CWM - I can install both with Odin v3.09
After researching for more than 4 hours I may kindly ask for your help.
What can I do to get my phone back on? I don't care about the data on the phone. (I already copied the internal SD to my computer).
I tried to reinstall the AICP 10 + Gapps, but that did not work.
Is there anybody out there who is able to help the stupid me?
Thank you very much in advance.
Greetings
Peter
Solved - Installed the Original Samsung FIrmware from Sammobile - then went back to TWRP and then to my ROM.
