Hello
I was running ARHD 20.1 with the latest 3.09 firmware and since i had terrible battery life i decided to downgrade . I asked in this same forum if there would be any issue and i was told there wouldn't.
So, today i downgraded to 2.24 firmware and then installed 3.06 GPE firmware. Next, i installed ARHD 3.2 GPE and did a full wipe before doing so. When it booted i got unfortunately com.android.phone has stopped working non-stop. I thought it was a problem with the rom so i re-downloaded everything and reinstalled wiping again but with no luck.
I started getting nervous and decided to downgrade to 2.24 to see if the radio was causing the issue but i still got the FC , i tried with all the firmwares with no luck. Last, i flashed back the 3.09 and got just 1 FC but then it stopped and it ran normally.
What is causing this issue? Did i mess up something by downgrading/flashing firmware too many times?
Im currently s-off and supercid.
Help is appreciated.
Thanks
Update : seems like my phone is completely fine on any sense based Rom but as long as I install any GE Rom the FC starts happening . Any ideas ?
When the 3.22.1540.1 RUU.exe became available I ran it on my international s-off supercid device. I found the new 4.3 stock rom quite good but a few well documented glitches were present which I hadn't experienced before on earliar versions such as proximity sensor issues, contact picture issues in the sms app and constant data signal dropping.
In experiencing these issues, I decided to return to stock by running the 1.27.401.7 RUU.exe then taking updates for my cid(HTC__001) until the latest 2.24.401.8 was installed so that I am now running completely stock software and firmware.
As I am now, back to 4.2.2 with no user apps installed yet, I was expecting the 4.3 glitches not to be present just as they weren't when I was originally running this set-up. This was not the case. The glitches still remain
Could anybody explain to me just how this could be? I was under the impression that an RUU.exe install was a completely clean install but my state of affairs suggests that it isn't.
Hi,
Seems like we both have almost same problem.
I've been running viper rom since 2nd day i got HTC One and everytime i make speedtest or any downloads over 12Mb/s data signal breaks.
I called my operator, made them update cell towers LOL and even my sim card to latest spec for LTE, but that didnt helped also.
Then while i was s-off ing my device, returned to full stock 2.24.401.8 WWE i dont have any problems at all, no signal drop or data breaks...
Seems like something else is going on here, as I tried all possible options on phone.
Btw. still havent updated to latest RUU/base firmware as I'm not sure if after that update I can run viper rom 2.7.0 (fw 2.24.401.1) while new version (4.3) is still release candidate...

Hi guys. Ive been using the CM12 and latest GPE roms, with each being installed with a full wipe. Ive updated my firmware and checked md5. However, when im using the phone no matter what sound setting i choose it keeps switching itself back to "priority" setting, meaning i dont get any notifications! Has anyone else encountered this, or does anyone know of a fix?!
Thanks in advance!
Guys I am having this weird problem on every LP sense based Rom...
I can't access xda app, 9gag app, download what's app media and a couple of other applications while being connected to my home WiFi and "some" other routers , I tried everything possible, factory reset flashing different LP Roma, resetting my WiFi , everything failed, flashed KK back everything went back normal...
I had asked this question on several threads ,but no One could answer :| this problem is facing a lot of htc users in my country after updating into LP, htc themselves still have no.answer for this, did anybody here faced this problem?

Hi, are you updating your Firmware along with the rom ? If their is no 7.x.yourVersion.x firmware to match your version, you have to have s-off to change your phone's CID / MID to use a International (7.xx.401.x) or Developer Edition firmware (7.xx.1540.x)

I dont think its firmware related thing, as my friends who have the official OTA on their m8's are having the same problem as well

My m8 and m7 both are on developer edition lollipop and I have no problems with wifi
Seems someone else mentioned it, but going into Settings/ Wifi / Advanced and unchecking Wifi optimization and turning off power saver seems to fix it

My m7 on "6.something" and the m8 has the latest firmware
HI guys, I am new to this forum, but I have found it a great soruce of reliable information in my quest to sort out my phones. Now unfortuanetely I have a problem I do not understand and to which I not found any information or solution. Please help.
My phone htc Incredible S
S-Off
Hboot 6.13.1002
Radio 3822.01.08.14_M
The phone was working fine with an AndroidRevolution HD5.3b rom. Then I decided to try to upgrade the rom to lollipop and tried with VivoPop_#06.24. This insatalled fine but the wifi would switch off and back on randomly and very frequently and my network data just would not come on at all. The phone could make calls though. Could this be a problem with an incompatible version of the radio although this was working fine with he Revolution rom?
I then tried to install cm12.1_vivo_20160204-rqmok but this just would hang when it came to starting apps.
Any suggestions very welcome please.
The thread about VivoPop clearly says:
"ROM Firmware Required: HBOOT 2.0"
It's supposed to be BlackRose hboot.
