[Q] HELP No service after reverting to stock from beanstalk rom - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Okay So first of all, I flashed the new beanstalk rom yesterday and I didn't really like it and I didn't have a nandroid backup so I just ran the ruu and reverted back to stock and then re rooted. But ever since I reverted back to stock I have no bars. It says I have 4g but I have no bars. I can go on the internet but I cant make calls. When I flash the beanstalk rom it works and I get service but the second I go back to a stock rom or run an ruu the service is gone again. Any help would be greatly appretiated. Thank you

If your running on Sprint's network do a ##72786# from your dial pad and it will begin a hands free activation and just let it do its thing the only thing you might have to do is press either an OK or even NEXT.
I hope that helps. :good:

[Q] Problem with Slim ICS 3.5

Hi guys,
i have been using Krarvind's Slim ICS 3.5 for about 10 days and I absolutely loved it. I have just updated to 3.6 which caused my phone to bootloop
So, after an hour or so of labouring and trying to work my way back in to it i'm now back on 3.5, but I have absolutely no signal/3G coverage. Wi-Fi works no problems, just no signal!
I went in to the APNs and there is nothing there - I tried to save a new APN and it wont let me - has anyone encountered this before?
Thanks in advance
Haven't experienced this myself but a few things come to mind...
First would be to check if you imei number correct? If not you would need to restore this from a backup.
If IMEI number appears correct then I would try flashing the modem again or a different modem. Modems found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1158783
If this doesn't work you can try flashing 3.5 base and essentials again.
If that doesn't work search the threads and google or hope someone else can give you an answer. If you don't find any help then as a last resort you can flash a stock rom with Odin although I'm sure there must be an easier way.

I've had a similar problem, the updating to 3.6 just went wrong. No bootloop but loads of FC.
My solution has been going back to recovery, do a full wipe (wipe data/restore factory settings) and install 3.6 again. Everything seems to work now but I have to re-install and configure all my apps... :-(
Hope it helps...
Check in About > Phone
Under baseband does it say UNKNOWN ?
this happened to me once, need to reflash the modem. No need for wipes etc

[Q] Help! No signal, can't RUU, have I bricked my one?

I was trying to find a good 4.2.2 Sense rom, so I flashed Stock w Goodies 2.11. It flashed fine, but when I booted up, there was no signal. The data worked fine, but I couldn't place calls. So I flashed back to stock, which usually solves any problems I have. But this time, when I booted up the stock HTC rom (1.31), I still didn't have a signal. I checked all the settings for the radios, and everything seemed fine. SO I decided the best course of action was to RUU. I couldn't find a 1.31 RUU, so i tried 1.29 several times, and it didn't work. Now I'm stuck with a phone that can't make calls and can't be put back to stock:crying:. Does anyone have any ideas???
Go to dialer ##72786#
Reset everything. Have it reboot. Let it boot up and it will do the hands free activation and then profile and prl. You should be good.

[Q] CDMA radio broken?

I'm having an issue with my HTC One. I had been on Paranoid Android, working fine for several weeks (so I didn't flash the wrong version for my Sprint hardware). Last week, I was suddenly showing roaming, with an empty triangle for the signal bars. I tried messing with the RUM/SIM/NV settings, but it didn't resolve the issue. I ended up reflashing back to stock 1.29 via the RUU, but still showed an 'x' next to my signal bars. I then let it update to 1.31 (damn...) but that didn't solve the issue either. If I go into the Network info under About phone, I show 0 signal strength if LTE is disabled. If I enable LTE, then I get signal, and data. Only CDMA is not working.
If I go into the MSL menu (##<MSL>#), it shows 'No' for both MDN and MSID. If I try to enter them, I get a message "Commit Failed" when I try to save them.
Support at the Sprint store wouldn't even look at it because the bootloader was unlocked.
Has anyone had issues with the CDMA radio failing? Anything else to try?

I would take it back to another Sprint store. They are suppose to take your phone and run the RUU. There was a posting from a Sprint employee a few weeks back with the internal company policy - which was to do a reset or run the RUU to put the phone back to stock to determine if it is a software or hardware issue. If hardware issue, Sprint is suppose to then replace the phone.
All androir 4.3 based rom have some data or signal issues with cdma ... I just go back to 4.2, everything is fine. If you have a signal issue with stock rom you should ask for a hardware replacement.

I've never had a 4.3 ROM on this phone. Was on a 4.2 AOSP ROM, and now I'm back on HTC One 1.29 (after upgrading to 1.31, and then RUU'ing back to 1.29 again). No CDMA reception on anything. I'll try another Sprint store. The guy at the one I went to was pretty pompous. He asked if the phone had been rooted. I figured honesty would be best, since he would know that the bootloader had been unlocked as soon as he went into HBoot.

Try changing the mobile network mode to something else in the setting page, then change it back, sometimes it works ...

Airplane mode on and then off. This fixes the issue.

Issue solved
Closing the loop. I found the issue. I must have somehow changed from NV to RUIM/SIM in the Mobile Subscription settings while on a CM based ROM. When I reflashed to stock using the 1.29 (and then 1.31) stock RUU, it doesn't change this setting in the radio. And then there is no access to this setting to correct it in the stock ROM (as far as I could find... maybe there's a hidden ## option). To fix the issue, I had to reflash back to a CM based ROM so that I could access the mobile subscription settings, change it back to NV, and then reflash back to stock and let it do the Handsfree activation. After that, everything is working again.

Would you be able to walk me through that process? I am having the same issue. Where would I find those settings after flashing over to a CM based ROM?
edit: NM Pretty easy to find on a CM based ROM.

No signal+data or imei number on any custom rom

No signal+data or imei number when flashing any custom rom(Sprint). If I flash back to my nandroid backup i have to then go to the sprintDM and do a device update and profile update before i get my signal back. it acts as if it is activating the device again. The first few times I had flashed custom roms this didnt happen, but when I finally decided which rom I was going to settle on (Elixr) for the time being, I flashed it and havnt been able to get a data signal since. Any ideas on what I could do here?

Need help! My g2 is not detecting SIM card

Hey guys, im writing from Argentina, as a final resource..
I have a vs980, running Cloudy 3.3 LP. As I was having a lot of issued (battery drain, wifi lose, etc) i've decided to go back to stock.
I used a guide found here, with tot file, wich took the phone bak to JB, rooted and with twrp. I've downloaded CLoudy 2.2, and KK baseband, flashed them both in recovery, but when phone starts up, the signal bar is with a red X.
I've tried EVERYTHING, and nothing seems to bring the signal back..
I messed up and lost the phone completely? or theres ir ANY way to bring it back alive??
Thanks a lot!
/any update? I'm having the same problem

This happened to me couple days earlier while trying custom roms. What i did was wiped the custom rom installation, installed by previous rom from backup and its all good.
In your case, i recommend you start from the beginning, flashing kitkat and then upgrading to lollipop and then u switch back to other custom roms.
Pull sim card. Turn off phone and let sit for at least a few minutes. Really.
Then insert and boot back up.
I had this problem and was told to do that and it worked.
hi
i have same prob after upgrading to lollipop , so i downgraded bac kti kitkat still no signal i tryed the power off and wait a min with the sim removed i turn it back on i will get my service back but after maybe 30 secs its gone
