[Q] How install OTA update after unlocked bootloader and root?

I'm very new with android and I should of checked the software update before unlocking bootloader but I was excited to get everything set up.
Can someone please give me a step by step direction on Installing the OTA update after unlocking the bootloader? I relocked it, and when trying to install the update, it still boots into "bootloader"

ok, then if you want to install OTAs you need to have the stock one... with the TWRP the OTAs won't be installed

Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
After hours of searching I finally did an OTA update.
My CID is T-MOB101 and I was on ver 1.28.111.6 so this may not work for everybody but it may get you in the right direction.
Here's an collection of HTC M7 RUU, OTA, and Stock Nandroid Downloads. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39588860
The only one available for my phone was (M7 CWM Nandroid Backup / CID T-MOB101 / 1.28.111.6)
So I clicked that then on the download page there is a forum support page link in the bottom right with instructions on how to install. It's in german so you may have to translate. Translated.
Then follow steps 1-8, Reboot, sign in to google, and download your software update.

You said you updated hboot but you`re on 1.55. As I said in my first reply to you, update to hboot 1.57. And in the future, please read through the thread before posting. This has been discussed before. You can find the latest firmware with hboot 1.57 here.
I recommend updating firmware using the file from the link above, but if you only want to update your hboot, you can download this. It`s the same as the firmware above but with only hboot 1.57.

Do you tried update your hboot to 1.57
I'm unable to add a stock sense rom as secondary rom. Recovery says "unable to load boot.img" when flashing. Primary rom is GPE 4.4.4.
I tried two different stock sense roms I found on this forum.
Hello,
I recently installed the MultiROM app via Playstore on my HTC ONE m7 with teamvenom ONE and S-off.
After I pressed install it installed and downloaded some stuff but he cant enter recovery.
Now its just rebooting to the normal system without multirom.
edit: I installed flashify and reinstalled twrp....
I can't get multirom to work. Even with CWM Touch Recovery.
Somebody got a solution for this?

[Q] Does the custom recovery work?

I want to root my moto g 2014.
I found the great index thread and read through the guides.
Everything seems pretty straight forward, but I don't understand what the limitations of the offered recovery are and why it's thread is locked?
This is the only thing holding me back from rooting my phone, could some please elaborate on the situation.

It's outdated and unofficial. Go to TWRP 2.8.4.0
Thank you for your help.
Some one should then update the index in the Q&A section of this forum so that less experienced members like me don't use the old unofficial version.
I've got just on more question.
Can I use any SuperSu update file or are those device specific?
Otherwise I would use the one from the guide

SuperSU is not device specific. Just download the latest stable download.chainfire.eu/supersu and flash it via recovery

5.0.2 rooting

I updated my htc one m7 to 5.0.2 just couple days ago. My question now is that can i root my phone just regular way. I mean; first open bootloader with htcdev and then using twrp recovery. If so, what version of twrp i should use. I know that this question is maybe a noob question but i want to do this right.
Thanks for your responses!

What steps have you done on your device till now?
I suppose you have only unlocked the device (when you enter hboot you will see the text UNLOCKED if that is true), so next to do will be flash the recovery and then from the recovery flash the zip file with supersu and that's it, once you have supersu in place you are ready to run apps that need root privilegies.

Seriously? You asked the same question yesterday which I gave you the answer
here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60566297&postcount=12
and
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60566645&postcount=18
Instruction how to flash twrp in the same link where you can download it. (fastboot install method)
So flash TWRP then using TWRP flash latest supersu.zip (version 2.46).
Even simpler if you flash the latest version of TWRP, boot in recovery then reboot. Before rebooting, TWRP will ask if you want to root, select yes. If this method doesn't work then do the above (manually flashing supersu.zip)
No, i asked a question, but not all questions like on this thread.
Do you know the answer to this questions?
If possible of course when i flash the TMWR recovery do i still get OTA updates?
If i root the HTC Splashscreen apears with that red anoying message " This is for development purposes only.....blablabla"

You asked the same 3 questions yesterday in the thread linked above.
I have answered these 3 questions but it looks like you don't even care to read my answers....
Take this one for example:
If possible of course when i flash the TMWR recovery do i still get OTA updates?

You asked the same thing yesterday:
Do i loose the capability of getting OTA updates doing that?

Which I asnwered this:
Maybe yes, Maybe no. already answered that same question 45 min ago here

If you take time to go read this link you'll get the answer, very well explained in details by nkk71
Now this one:
If i root the HTC Splashscreen apears with that red anoying message " This is for development purposes only.....blablabla"

You also asked the same exact thing yesterday:
On early versions when i flash the boot screen there was a red message on the boot, something like "this is for development purposes......" Do you know if it will happen here.
Click to collapse
And I answered you this:
Yes it will.
Click to collapse
And finally:
Is it possible to root lollipop version on HTC m7 5.0.2? How?
Click to collapse
Asked same thing yesterday:
Recentely i´ve put my phone to the latest firmware/rom Lollipop 5.0.2
I try to search on how to root the phone, but cant find anything, on how to do that, or if its possible.
Click to collapse
And I asnwered this:
Flash twrp recovery and then flash latest supersu.zip

Also answered again in post #2 here.
So I answered your 3 questions (yesterday), I gave you link to a detailed explanation about your ota updates question, I gave link to download and flash TWRP and I gave you link to download Supersu.
What else do you need? How to flash the recovery? How to flash Supersu? Just ask if you need help with that but stop asking the same question again and again.
