Hi all,
My wifi connection seems to randomly obtain a proxy address which stops things loading? I have changed back to "none" but it randomly switches back to manual with a proxy input?
Any ideas how to prevent this?

You can use VPN also to work around that

Do you use same network as when you installed your system.
I met this issue when I switched to a new router. Nothing I did would resolve it so I installed the system all over again while on the new router and voila..

I only encountered wifi problem once. After rooting my phone, I couldn't access play store but it was easily fixed by rebooting the phone. In regards to your issue, I think it might be your wifi connection. Play store does have issues every now and then but not right now.

Which notification do you mean? Have you looked in Wi-Fi > Menu, Advanced > Network Notification?
Ya. Anything regarding notification is turned off.
I'm rooted on 3.05.651.6 stock rom.

Still haven't figured it out yet. My wifi keeps turning on by itself.

Anyone ever run into this issue or are currently experiencing it?

In WiFi Settings, goto Advanced, and turn off "Scanning always available"...should solve your issue.

This is a snap of my settings.
Not sure why it keeps happening. I find my Wi-Fi turns itself on whenever it senses a hotspot even though my settings are as they are.

Do you think it does this because of the version of the radio?

It started to appear after three days after KitKat update.. Suddenly the phone doesn't detect any wifi signal.. Even when I'm setting beside the router.. And then I have to go to settings to choose the network again and connect to it.. Is that a common bug with you guys or it's just me? And is there any solution because it's really annoying

No such issues here, did you drop your mobile recently?

Try resetting router if you haven't already.

Seems to be a hard issue to me, try flashing it once if not take it to the service center.

It is definitively update - not hrdware issue, nor droping or getting it wet
It started after kitkat, it lists WiFi but out of range, even reconecting is not working. Only on/off / than it is OK.
Not always , just from time to time - when she feels like it...
Same story with ringing in ear pice not loudsaker...
