Which notification do you mean? Have you looked in Wi-Fi > Menu, Advanced > Network Notification?

Ya. Anything regarding notification is turned off.
I'm rooted on 3.05.651.6 stock rom.

Still haven't figured it out yet. My wifi keeps turning on by itself.

Anyone ever run into this issue or are currently experiencing it?

In WiFi Settings, goto Advanced, and turn off "Scanning always available"...should solve your issue.

This is a snap of my settings.
Not sure why it keeps happening. I find my Wi-Fi turns itself on whenever it senses a hotspot even though my settings are as they are.

Do you think it does this because of the version of the radio?

Wifi help

When I'm at or near Starbucks or McDonald's my wifi automatically connects to their router, how can I stop that from happening other than turning my wifi off.

Settings / Wi-Fi then long press and hold the one you don't want to auto connect to and select forget.

Disable Setting notification reminder under accessibility settings.

That seems to do the trick, but then aren't I missing out on that feature? Say if I'm in the shower?
Kind of sad that's the only place left to get away from the leash... before I retired I bought a lake house that got no pager (remember those? ) or cell service just to get away.

Vibration stopped working

When I press on the back button, or when I long-click on the home button, my phone doesn't vibrate anymore. I have vibration enabled in settings. Is anyone else having this issue?

Does it still vibrate when you receive a call or a text message?

Was your battery low? This phone automatically does power saving mode after 20% I believe.
My battery wasn't low. My phone vibrates when called. This is very strange. Any other solutions?

Are you sure that hectic feedback is still checked in settings-device-sound under screen lock sound
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Yes, it was always checked. Something funny just happened. I was browsing through settings - not the sound settings - and suddenly noticed the vibration is back.

You seem to be having a huge number of problems. I haven't seen anyone else post this many problems. Maybe starting over from an original unrooted mi9 might correct all of your problems. Not trying to offend. Just making an observation. Good luck.

After charging your phone doesn't automatically turn off Power Saving mode. Pull down the drawer and make sure it isn't checked.
Lost vibration again. This is very frustrating. Does anyone know what's going on?

I noticed that my power saving mode was on, which disabled the vibration. I disabled the power saving mode and the vibration is back.

Same thing was happening to me. Fixed now. Thanks!

You guys find the solution ! That is right, just a setting problem - power saving mode should be disabled. Then, my phone vibrating function is normal, thanks!:good:

I cannot turn off available Wi-Fi networks notification after 4.3 update.

I have unchecked the Wi-Fi network notification and notify me in the advanced menu, but I continue to receive the annoying notifications. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas on how to make it go away for good?
Sent from my HTCONE using xda app-developers app
Me too. Annoying as f*^k! Can't help with a fix but here's to hoping a dev here can.
What's strange is that one of my co-workers has the same phone with the same software version isn't experiencing the issue. At least not that he has noticed.

I have the same problem on Viper one

I am on stock unrooted.

Same issue, annoying, but I got used to it.
I have gotten used to it as well and actually don't mind it at all now. It's like a reminder that I forgot to toggle my wifi to off when I left the house.

Why would my Wi-Fi turn on by itself regardless of settings?

I'm rooted, s-off, and using stock 3.05.651.6. I use BatteryGuru, and it worked great before root/s-off, but my Wi-Fi won't stay off no matter which settings I choose.
Any ideas?

Battery guru might turn it off regardless. Also of power save is on that night be the issue.

Google location services is pretty sneaky about using WiFi.
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
Cool. I'll give turning that off a shot.
