Awesome mods for sense 5 (even 4.3) REQUIRES ROOT - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Download Xposed Framework and download the sense 5 toolbox module. It has a bunch of awesome tweaks. You can even customize the new quick settings tiles on the new android 4.3.
Framework can be downloaded at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401

That's strange. I've rebooted a few times after applying other mods and my customizations are still there.

well, depends on what you like, if you like alot of customization, tranquil one would be your choice, if you like stock then there are a couple good ones here, hell they are all good as far as sense roms, the cm roms are buggy. eclipticone is a good choice too. team nocturnal has 2 good roms as well or 3, i like the black sheep rom.

This is definitely a step in the right direction. But even with 8ms and changing the icon, we lose the unread count on the icon.
I've tried searching for some type of xposed framework mod to just darken the stock messaging app but alas.. Nothing.
Sent from my XT1080m using xda-developers app.
I was able to pull the mms.apk from an eclipse rom rom the Razr HD. its inverted..and has a lot of extra features. However..the app crashes if you remove or rename the stock messaging app. so what I did was leave the stock messaging app and turn off all notifications and simply hide it with Nova. Now i have the darkened inverted goodness i want with full functionality.
edit: nevermind. it works..but its receiving messages twice for some reason. Fail.

I thought the same thing...but I haven't suggested it..espec because there are so many roms that GB supports
The problem is the stock system is odex like most stock systems are and themed apps do not usually play nice with odex system. Most of the times a dev will put out a deoxed rom or there is a way to deoxed the entire system, What is always interesting about Moto is they have specific odex version of apps like Motoemail, MotoMms and others that make simply dropping in themed apps problematic. I hope this answers your question. I am working on a theme for the Mini right now that takes out the green and replaces with blue LOL I hate that green!

Batterry Icons

So, I just installed the 5ubZ3r0 0N3 theme over Elegancia 17.1.0 and it got rid of my battery icon in the status bar. I can go to the power options and select 'Show battery level' and it will show the percent of battery I have left, but alas no icon.
Does anyone know where I can find some flashable battery icons? I've searched the forums high and low and haven't been able to find any for our device.

I was basically looking for a stock, Verizon G2 rom, but I wanted the white kit kat statusbar icons. Also, if you look at every other g2 variant, the settings menu has different "switches" to turn things on and off. I just wanted to know if that look was available to us as well? Do you have screen shots for what you are looking for for "switches"?
Root
Install G2 Xposed Settings.
You can get KitKat icons, Immersive Mode, hide stupid status bar icons, Transparencies, etc
Then download Tex_Droider from Play Store and change DPI to 380 or 400 (I use 400).
Enjoy a completely unique feel with the stability and feature set of a stock rom.
I also use Nova and find a good icon pack.

I know CM themes allow the changes of the switches. You are wanting a stock Google experience.
I know Xposed has XThemer engine that can theme stuff similarly to CM but I don't know how deep it goes. I've just done Circle Battery and G2 Setting modules. I'm sure Xposed + Theme Engine would work.
CM is built off AOSP, vanilla android. The picture I posted is definitely not that. That picture is from every G2 stock Rom aside from Verizon.
For whatever reason, Verizon changed their version.

Yea I figured out the tab view after I had to return my first G2 to Verizon (camera refused to focus) and the in store model had it. I appreciate all the info/tips guys.
Flex roms were cool but mine kept rebooting whenever I used Qi. I ran AeonFlex though, not cloudy.
Rippley, in your picture, you have AOSP and LG next to each other. AOSP on the left, LG skin on the right.
The only way to change those are through Xposed Themer Engine or flash another rom with them baked in.

Ahh I see that now..I'm a retard, my bad. Ignore the picture on the left. The switch style on the right is what I was after. The Verizon version has a "slider" (like in mademans post)
style switch and the other variants have the style from the picture on the right. It's not a huge deal, just one of the things that caught my eye while playing with the working display at Best Buy, then seeing what I actually got once I bought a Verizon version...kinda bothered me for whatever reason.
Also, reading up on the roms available, as well as the flex ports. There seems to be issues with just about every rom available. No MMS, FCs, etc.

Try no icon and use gesture (depending on the launcher). The rest of your screen is six icons across except the dock. For example I use down swipe gesture to expand notifications, up swipe to open app drawer (with animation set to open app drawer from bottom of the screen), double tap to sleep, two finger swipe for quick settings.

I downloaded that app, and even got SkyBlue. but it doesn't seem to be sticking once it asks me for a soft reset.
I just noticed that it themed my setting, but not my icons, background, etc.

Don't use the soft reboot. I always do a full reboot and it works and you shouldn't need busybox. I don't have it installed.

Thanks! Do you know how too set it up so I don't power down the device and have a reset button. I have the rooted stock looking ROM.

I use the advanced reboot in gravitybox but that requires Xposed. I don't know how you feel about that cause I know some people just hate it. You can also get an app like terminal emulator and type su to grant superuser then type reboot. There might also be an app in the play store that could do it but I don't use those. Someone else would have to suggest one of those.
Is using Xposed a bad thing? If not I will throw it on this phone...

It depends on who you ask. I say research it and try it if you want. Just make a backup right before you install it and you can restore that if you don't like it. But personally, I don't think it's as bad as some people say.
