[Q] my front camera hums and vibrates - HTC Sensation XL

bought this sensation xl second-hand (ebay) a couple of weeks ago. was playing around with it today and when i opened the "mirror" (front camera app), the phone began to hum and vibrate. it did the same thing when i opened the camera app and selected the front camera as the source.
any ideas as to why this would be?
it's running stock 4.0.3/3.6 sense with vodafone au branding.

[Q] Hardware or software problem

I bought the One about 2 weeks ago and love the phone, but I am somewhat divided when it comes to the camera.
I took a lot of Pictures of my children, but when they are more than 2 meters away, I can't seem to focus. Same when it's very sunny(it's summer in Denmark, so can't really awoid it).
There are 4 Pictures, 2 up close, and 2 from a greater distance.
My question is, is this hardware related or could it be fixed with a software update.?
I have searched and read allmost every question regarding the camera, but none where it Work perfectly in certain conditions. Am I the only one with this problem.?
Are You taking photos with "Tap to focus"?
I usually have this problem when taking photo of distant objects using the button. But with "Tap to focus" it works ok.
I tried tap to focus, change settings, clean the lens.
It seems that some of these problems will be adressed in the upcoming softwareupdate?, or is mine broken.?
what your build number?
FA354W, is that the number your asking for.?
software number
1.29.401.13
Ok A little Update. I tried to call HTC service who told me that my unit was broken and i had to send it in for repair.
I received my phone a week later and my software version was now 1.29.401.16. It's now incredibly fast(faster than before), sound is perfect when watching youtube and Best of all, my camera is now working like a charm.

[Q] Main Xperia Z1 camera is blurry

Hi everyone, today I noticed that my rear camera is blurry. Its incredibly frustrating that I am unable to take any pictures with the rear camera in this condition.
I used the camera to take a few pictures this morning,(which came out perfectly) and I have updated a few applications to the latest versions about a few hours back. An hour back I tried to take a picture using the primary camera, however everything is blurry.
I removed my rear glass cover and cleaned out any dust from the camera area, however the results were the same.
My camera App is at Version 1.0.0
Is anyone else facing the same problems?
Can you show a picture demonstrating this?

camera lens focus broken after dropping

So I dropped my htc one m7 and after that I noticed that the camera doesn't focus in on objects, even if i tap the screen there is no change so all pictures look out of focus.
I went to get a new camera fitted today although the guy working in the store ordered the wrong camera yet blamed it on the CPU and said even a new camer may not fix the problem...
Any help is very much appreciated!

Rear camera doesn't work. 5.1 no root.

My rear camera was working last night and this afternoon it(Motorola Stock Camera) suddenly started telling me to restart the camera while Google Camera says that it can't connect to the camera. It's weird because I haven't dropped or treated the phone roughly lately and there haven't been any updates that would effect it.
Since the problem started I've done multiple restarts and completely wiped the device. The problem continues to persist. By experimenting with other camera apps I was able to figure out that the front facing camera still works fine. I'm worried that it is a hardware issue.
Mine just went out today. Mine happens to be an Asurion refurb. Anyone have any insight to this problem?

If you can confirm this issue is not exclusive to Sony's stock camera, then it sounds like your camera is going bad. Get the camera module replaced by buying the part from eBay.

Umm...by cleaning it?
Is it inside the lens? If so, you have to tear-down your phone to get to the camera, then clean the glass.
