[Rom Format] Devs please read

Below is a format that is a guideline to be used as an example of how a rom thread should look. It doesn't have to be exact. I suggest that you stay creative and use all the features in the advanced panel when creating a thread.
Name of rom, team, etc
Introduction
Changelog in code or list tags
What's included in the rom in the (apps, tweaks, scripts, addons, mods) in code or list tags
What works/what doesn't work in code or php tags
Credits (Users name-with link to (profile/github/or thread u got tweak from embedded), and what they did to help you)
Screenshots (2-10 different screenshots of different aspects of rom)
Kernel with either link to thread you got it from or github (if stock sense or cm please state that and that is enough)
Instructions on how to install the rom (also if special instruction for a2sd or beats audio...etc)
Do's and Don'ts of the rom
Questions & Answers section (I find this helpful to write out asked questions with solutions at the bottom of the op. I find that it cuts down on the question being asked a million times)
Finally the dl link
Additional add-ons (this can go into first post or reserved posts after)
I find the embedded link looks and feels better throughout the op if possible.
All sections should have a header with enlarged text and spaced out so people can read it easily.
I am hoping that this helps to make this section a little cleaner and easier. enjoy
The way I look at this is that it takes you weeks/days/hours to make these roms....we can take the time out to make sure that the op looks professional and clean
Not to toot my own horn but here is a link to one of my own rom threads as an example. Link
Also Make sure the op is fully ready before posting. I know we all get excited to release a rom but stating that half the stuff will be updated as time permits just shows that you are lazy and in a hurry which doesn't look good cause if thats the case then how does your rom run....
No posting a a rom thread without a DL link either. If posted then the thread will be removed
Thread title format
Just to add to Papa Smurf151's post, when posting something, please use this format for the title:
[What it is][last updated][Version+stable/test/beta/wip/etc]Name of rom/kernel/etc
For example:
[ROM] [15nov12] [4.3.1BETA] TheBestestKangedROMEver

[HELP] Can't boot freshly compiled kernel

I've compiled the kernel from opensource.samsung.com but it always results in a bootloop (without any edits), did anyone else encounter such an issue? I'm sure I followed the instructions correctly.
Thanks
Case closed, turns out you need the latest Android version for the kernel source that comes with Update 1 to work.

[MOD][SOUND] ARISE Sound Systems™

THIS IS NOT MY WORK.
The original developers can be found HERE. All credits to them.
I wanted to share this sound mod with you with a minor adjustment. The only adjustment I have made to the zip file is to modify which packages that should be installed. This can be altered to your own needs, but I wanted to share one that works with AOSP on Nougat. This should work on Oreo as well, both 32 and 64-bit.
What is included in this repacked version:
Magnum Opus Core module
Magisk Module
ViPER4Arise™ 2.3.4.0 module
Dolby Digital Plus™ module
Sony™ Xperia XZ Music Suite module
AOSP MusicFX module
Please give a thumbs up in the original thread if you find it useful.
For further adjustments or questions see the original thread.
Download HERE
Installation instructions:
Download
Install - You will encounter "Error 1" and the installation stops. This is to create the required files for the next step.
Install again.
Done!
Wait, what exactly is the point of this zip file you've created? There's just a tiny modification you've done, which you haven't clearly explained.
You basically just reposted another thread without any proper meaning or modification. Please stop spamming the forums. Everyone knows how to download ARISE, and there's no need for a new thread about it.

Sorry I didn't know this mod existed until yesterday so I thought it was worth sharing with an even easier way of installing, so more people could enjoy this amazing mod. But that is not the case then this can be removed.

Your kernel source link is not correct. Are you using the stock kernel? If this is just a modified stock ROM, you can find the stock kernel source here
Is this an Android 9 rom as you menthioned in the title? Gald to see that on Snapdragon S7e. Thanks for your work.

As you still have not posted the correct kernel source, I have closed this thread and removed the download links.
Please be aware that your kernel source link must point to the source code for the OEM kernel if you're using the stock one, OR if you are using a custom kernel, either the source used to build that kernel or its repository. You cannot use the ROM download link as your source.
When you are ready to correct this issue, please use the Report button on your post to contact us.
