[Q] Are you in need of a toolkit?

Are you in need of a toolkit? Hi. I'm Xmc Wildhchild22 From the mytouch 4g slide Forum. I've been running a toolkit there for 2-3 months now called Mr Root and I'm thinking of turning it multi-device. Features should include... Rooting, Unrooting, Build.prop tweaker, Custom made Apktool (deodex, sign, decompile etc.) Bootanimation Flasher, Splash screen Flasher, Wifi tools, Font flash (with preview), and MUCH MORE!

I would say there is always need for a tool to do these things.
Hopefully it could cater to our root method, as we do often get questions about it.

it would be good to get this tool

It will be nice to have such tool.

We always need a toolkit like this an i apreciate that also may help you if you want

Mr Root for the sensation xl is officially in development ....but one quick favor....can someone send me there build.prop from any ROM....I need to do device detection testing...

Any leaks already?

I red that sxl didnt get sense 4.0 . How true it is , i dont know.

Me too. it's just nobody is brave enough to port this to XL. Resizing and stuff, because EVO have qhd display 540X960 and dual core (i think that shouldn't be the problem for the brave person,or for the right person !!!!)

We are now having the HTC One V leak. So no need to resize stuffs anymore. Just need to fix and port so it can work correctly on the Sensation XL. Anyone interests?

My friend has an xe and he has sense 3.5.

XE on Android 2.3 had Sense 3.0. On Android 4.0 it has Sense 3.6. Any variations on that are custom ROMS. Hope that helps!

Not sure I follow what you mean?

so we already have sense 3.6 on our XL I'm guessing we only getting ics then no sense 4.0 totally doubt it

I also would like to know why there is not that much stuff for XL.... I mean roms and mods and things.... if you look the DHD dev forums there is alot of roms.....if DHD can why XL can't.....

We get ics sense 3. 6 soon.. if we have this.. its much easier to port

Some devices take time to take off dev wise. It will happen though. My last device (Xperia Play) was dead for over a year, then all of a sudden boom there was roms/themes/kernels/mods comming from all over the place

Lost my sensation xl / stop developing jellybean?

Hello all.
Yesterday I lost my sensation xl. It fall out of my pocket while I was test driving codefirex 4.2.1 jelly bean. So here is my question.
Should I buy similar device so I can keep developing for sensation xl or should I just stop developing on this phone?
I have found a used sensation xl for 173 euro and I think I can find that money but I want to know if it will be worth it.
If I buy another one I will continue developing jelly bean but without a sensation xl I will stop.
Also if someone knows about a sensation xl that is cheaper I will be happy

We would loose a great developer! But you have to decide to spend your money on the SXL again or buy another one. We would probably miss you =) =) =).

Yay! Thats good news. In fact i pre ordered Xperia Z couple of nights ago but gonna keep SLX second phone and for playing with xda roms. If this had lte and better reception, i wouldnt even get a new one. But we still need JB.

We are working at evervolv and codefirex both rom with android 4.2.2
Already much working and in evervolv camera working but no video recording. It is going very well and we are trying to get something ready perhaps in next week. You can join our irc for more info and you can read in the cm9 thread here in general section,
