I'm just assuming the OP was talking about the 50% discount code that we can use to buy Samsung accessories at Samsung store.
The code was given when they have promo for GS3 and Note2 owner after we registered our phones.

Didnt got one (canada) maybe only works in US

Samsung recently changed the deal to 50% off accessories under $50. They were probably selling too many of the HDMI docks. :silly:

Did not really matter because 50% off "Out of Stock - Backordered" is still $0.00.

I saw the OP and registered my Note II on the Samsung website. I got the coupon code seconds later, via emai. I just used it to purchase the Allshare Cast Hub for $49.99 (originally priced at $99).

I used my coupon for the slate grey flip cover and 2 packs of tectiles. Otherwise I would have gone with cheaper accessories.

You realize that universal health care sucks right? The wait times for some diagnostic scans take 3, 6, or even 9 months.

I think you can use it multiple times. You can use it 10 items or until the expiration date. I was hoping to get one or two of the OEM chargers because they are longer than most and charge fast.

I know others have mentioned that you can't use the USB OTG simultaneously with HDMI, but this one doesn't say it and it's much cheaper than official dock.

Picture looks like samsung smart dock. Only price is cheap. If you register your note with samsung, they will email you coupon for 50% off of their accessories. I bought my smart dock that way for $50 from samsung website.

Just ordered mine, thanks so much...

How did you guys order from the Samsung website I was just on there and it wouldn't let me do anything so I called Samsung and they said that Gear cradles are not sold individually if I wanted a replacement cradle I would have to send in my original cradle.

Don't I feel silly for only thinking to order one : ) Progress happens quickly with others adding to the collective knowledge on how to improve things.

Future idea, some type of wireless charging for the Gear. I bought the pad and receiver for my Note 3 and they are working great without a wire in the phone, so I highly recommend this too.

Almost in line to buy the expensive Samsung fast wireless charger. Hold my breath to wait!:victory:

I just received a Samsung replacement wireless charger today since the one they gave with Edge+/Note 5 wasn't working (blue light blinking issue), and guess what, the new one doesn't work either. This is just ridiculous! You buy a phone worth $915 and you get a service like this. I got a Choetech Wireless charger which works great but only drawback is that it takes 3 hours to charge my phone. With double the power, this should take half the time. I'll order one and write a review! Thanks for the info!

i received my Samsung Wireless Fast Charge device and (thankfully) no wireless charging issues, meaning, it works as advertised. it's a little bigger than i expected but it's small enough to take on business trips. if i were using my money (vs. AmexPoints accumulated from reimbursable business expenses) i'd consider the aftermarket versions before forking over $70 for Samsung's device.

You don't need to get the adapter version. Note 4 comes with an adaptive fast charger, you can use the same. Also, it's important to note that Note 4 and Nexus 5 wouldn't support fast wireless charging, so they will charge in about 2.5 to 3 hrs (compared to 90 minutes charging of Edge+/Note 5).

Does your note 9 fit in your Gear VR?

So I was setting up my VR stuff this morning and for the life of me I can't get the note 9 to stay put in the Gear VR. It goes in in works but I can't close it into place. And that's before my Dbrand and me Dome screen protector which I have yet to install.
Can anyone with a Gear VR let me know if they're able to use it? I just need to know if I'm a one off before I bring it to Samsung.

No, it doesn't fit. There is supposed to be an adapter but samsung seem to have no idea when it will be available

I Have the 2016 gear vr. I had to very slightly modify the corners with a dremel and it fits fine now.

You could also use a peice of 80 grit sand paper possibly. Amazon sells cheap rotary tools like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003BYRFH8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_IDQGBbZPY35ED
I only had to remove small amount of material at each corner. The phone locks into position and works great now.

Go on the Samsung+ app and use the chat. I was able to get the new adapter sent me me with ease. The website says to contact Samsung and they will mail you the adapter free of charge.

That's what he told me.

I have the Gear VR that came out just after the Note 8 and can confirm it does work with my Note 9. The USB connector on the VR is a little tighter but once you have pushed it in as far as it will go it works fine.
