any dev's know what com.sec.att.apo is?
logcat shows lots of messages like this
I/com.sec.att.apo.ApoService( 3240): On process died 7009,10070
I am trying to debloat and identify all unneeded packages/apk's and ran across this.
Any luck finding out? Ive been looking for about an hour.

Not yet but I have figured out that if you disable multiple widget lockscreen it makes it turn on/off faster. I will repost this in the other guys thread.

Do you have a list of things youve debloated?

Just all the att crap and knox so far. I plan to use some of the s pen stuff.
It kinda looks to me like its one of the samsung app processes. If you lok at the tibu backup list alot of the com. Apps are tied to things like phone & flashbar & browser etc. Even some of the samsung apks use sec in the filenames so maybe its a process for a program youve frozen? Ill run a logcat and see if im running the same errors but if i am its not affecting anything or causing and fc's
Edit: can you pinpoint what yur doing at the time of the fault?

I found the APO_ATT.apk in system-app using root explorer its an installable apk so maybe reinstalling it will restore it. I ran logcat all night and didnt come up with this error.
It is not a error message. It seems to be reporting to something else.

can you paste a logcat section here? I cant replicate this at all on my device. I debloated pretty much the same stuff as you, plus additional stuff I knew wasn't needed
I think I will backup and restore again this weekend with stock unmodified and get a clean logcat and post it.

So even after updating to 5.7.839 i am still dropping 3g data, any ideas why. I am rooted if i need to return the phone do we have a way to go back to complete stock? Like verizon ruu?
Haven't fully tested yet or not, but there's a buzz building about a data drop fix on some other forums..
Trick is to freeze the "Battery & Data Manager" and the "Battery Manager"... this isn't my idea, and I can't remember the person that came up with it.
I just did it on my bionic (about 2 hours ago) and I've not dropped data since...but I didn't have it happen too often...
You might give it a try and see if it helps..
DO NOT DELETE the apk.... just freeze them or add a .bak to the end of the file... just in case.
Tim
I have been experience no 3g data connectivity over the last couple days. (4g has been working fine though). However, my 3g has come back now. I think verizon has been having issues. I called tech support this weekend, they said they had been notified of data issues with their 4g phones and were working on it... I don't think it's your phone for now.
For reference I'm rooted and running the Shift3r ROM.

I can personally confirm this works, but I changed these three. Sorry having issues with pic. Batterymanager.apk, datamanagerapp.apk, datamanagerservice.apk... Changed then to .bak with rootexplorer

Install Air Push Detector. That should help you identify it.

Thanks, I downloaded it and the other one he recommends. I get this ad a few times a day so I should be able to pinpoint the app by tonight or in the morning.
If you have a music download app that is the culprit

The only music apps I use are rhapsody (for a year and a half) and Google music (since I got a beta invite months back) , and neither have given me any trouble. The rhapsody app is actually much better than their PC client.
Weird
I can see screenshots fine on the desktop, but when i use the xda app on my phone, they're always blurry, who knows. Sorry to derail.

No problem, the issue was resolved anyway. I don't know why that is, but I have the same problem viewing pics that were posted using the app when I'm browsing on my PC, phone, or tablet. BTW, I used photobucket to post that pic.
I am on Lollipop and get this error a few times a day.
Has anyone else seen this? It doesn't seem to have any specific app it just happens randomly.

That's a toast notification and not one that's standard in Android. If you have any sort of task killer app or cache cleaning app I would look at that as the first culprit.

What is a toast notification? I have no task killers installed and never have.
It just refers to the style of notification you're seeing. Toast notifications are popups that are not actionable and not persistent.
http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/ui/notifiers/toasts.html
Unfortunately there's no easy way to determine what is generating the toast notification unless you are rooted. Some people have reported that the M-Go app produces these notifications. Regardless, it's not part of stock Android and it is being generated by some app that you have installed.
I do have the MGO app uninstall it for now to see what happens. Thanks for the info.
Sent from my XT1095 using Tapatalk
I don't want to talk to you early but I think uninstalling MGO fixed that issue. I haven't had that error since I removed it.
Thank you for the suggestion.
Sent from my XT1095 using Tapatalk
has now been a full day without the M-Go app and no errors. Bettery also has been much better without that app installed.
TY again for the info
I'm glad this worked for you. What does MGo do anyway?

Video service that took over the service Samsung had. Only use it now because I had some credit from some titles that did not transfer from Samsung. I have about $40 credit. Will use it till I am out of credit. It supports Chromecast too.
Have not reinstalled it and error has been gone since. Phone battery is better without it too.

OK so i have been a crack flasher since release day of ICS. But i am to the point the only reason i really need root was restoring apps with TiBu. I was excited to hear about Marshmellow having an opt out data restore process. However i have never gotten it to work. Literally no app has its data restored. It basically installed the apps and it did remember my stock launcher layout.
Can anyone shed any light on what is going on?
I had 1 app restore data, and that was instagram, others didn't

After reading this http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2015/10/android-6-0-marshmallow-thoroughly-reviewed/6/
I understand how it works a little better. As i am completely stock and have manually configured some apps i do have some app data in the google drive/settings/manage backup. However still not everything. Which means once again if it doesn't get what i want i am having to root and use TiBu.
It appears to be quite an incomplete list.

Not sure what to tell you. While they made this sound like a perfect solution it is just as hacky as everything else they provided so far.
I wonder if its an API level thing on the apps that are not showing up?
Yes it is odd. as when I had to do a wipe and restore on the M preview more if not all of my apps had their settings restored. Moving to the official version with a clean flash and I got the same thing, just instagram restored.
Just reading more about it.
http://developer.android.com/training/backup/autosyncapi.html
I do not have an answer at this point why less then a quarter my apps are showing up in the Google Drives Managed backups.
Can anyone else shed some light?

Same here, it seems the servers are down, unable to download xposed as well
rovo89 said:
The repository (repo.xposed.info) is currently down because my provider is temporarily moving it to a different server. They said the load is too high, but unfortunately failed to provide any details so far. It's also been six hours since they have started the move, no idea why it's taking that long and when it will be finished.
Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do at the moment, so please be patient.

Hmm... I wonder if Niantic has something to do with this due to all the Pokémon Go hacks... (Might as well start the conspiracy theories...)
This being a server issue makes it even worse. If the server is deleted or broken xposed has to start over.

That's not true at all. If he doesn't have a server backup, he would be an AWFUL admin. Assuming he has a backup (which, given he's obviously a smart cookie for coming up with xposed, is nearly 100%), it'd be trivial to migrate it to a new server.

The funny thing is that I just rooted my phone and got xposed.
And now I'm here like waiting for a fix that's actually really we to fix in 16-48 hours.
Yea I just installed xposed.. installed two modules and now waiting for other ones..lol I thought it was odd that I was browsing through hundreds of them, then I go and check later and it says nothing... I said crap hope it's not down and found this thread... hoping it pops back up shortly.
I really want the add away for youtube and in general.

i found a temporary workaround to getting and installing the modules. Download XDA Labs and install modules through the labs app
Not necessary, repo is back up
