try **usbui on the dialer, it works for fascinate so it's worth a shot
I tried that but it did not work, I believe mainly because verizon removed the dialer from it, I had to instal a version ported from the fascinate I'll just keep trying because verizon went out of their way to make sure we dont use it as a phone but all the necesesary hardware is included on the tablet...

do you have a link to the dialer?
this is how i got the tablet to go in diagnostic mode. downloaded launcher pro from the marker, add hold to add shortcut on the screen go to activities then phoneutil and then phoneutil and select it. then make sure UART AND USB have the modem select it and that's it. now we just need the 16 digit password so we can play with qpst.. I tried most of the known passwords on cdma workshop but none of them worked..

Thanks. Your **87284 (search) method was great. How do we find out the 16-digit password for CDMA Workshop?
Anyone? I tried all 101 Samsung ones, but they all fail.
Do you have a Verizon Tab firmware? My tab gets down.
It can only got into "Download mode" after I flashed it with Euro and Asian Firmware.
I'm very very worried about it.
Help me.

Hi guys,
Thanks for the useful hints about the diagnostic interface.
Is there a Qualcomm chip in your Galaxy Tab, since you can use the QXDM interface? In my case there appears an unrecognized "7 CDCs" device.
I applied your descriptions also to the Galaxy S+ (Qualcomm chip) and could open a QXDM connection. Unfortunately the device doesn't answer.
Thanks,
eidelen
Hi.... In my Moto X, when I click on the phone icon I think it used to take me straight to the dial-pad where I could dial a number. Now, it takes me to the recently called lists... no dial-pad whatsoever.
It's the Verizon Moto X.
Does anyone know if there's a way to set it so it defaults to the actual dial-pad again instead of the recently contacted lists?
Thank you

XT1053, just bought it. Running stock 4.4, always been stock. What are the dialer codes? I have yet to see a list or any success with the few i saw on random forums, thanks!
The goal is to be able to delve into hidden menu and also control the radios. Thanks in advance!!

First off, the code is *#*#info#*#*
Secondly, dialer codes don't work on the stock moto x 4.4+ I've tried many and none will bring up any menu.
Another post mentioned the app Phone Testing. This has worked for me as far as bringing up the info menu.

Oops got the symbols backwards, thanks for catching that
But yeah, the codes seem to be hit or miss (I've had both experiences on stock -- it's working for me now on 4.4.2 but didn't work on 4.4)

thanks for the help guys, I searched anycut in the play store but it's gone apparently. also, piccit is right, the dialer code does not work for 4.4 that was the first thing i tried when getting the phone lol
I'm just gonna find anycut on google. Also piccit, since we have the same model, Are there any noticable camera improvements for 4.4.2? also did system update work for you? it doesn't for me, and did audio effects toggles work for you? because on 4.4 it don't work for me lol.

I actually have the 1060 (vze DE). I flashed the Great Britian 4.4.2 and never bothered to modify my build.prop to specify the right version.
As far as your questions:
I don't use the camera enough to comment.
I manually flashed 4.4.2, so system update doesn't come into play
I haven't touched my EQ/audio effects, they're still on whatever the defaults are
I'm not familiar with anycut, but if you just want to get to the testing menu, the app chrstndsgnr posted worked for me when the dialer code wouldn't on 4.4

AnyCut hasn't been updated since 2008. If you've installed it before, open the play store, click on the upper left and pick"my apps" then "all". You'll probably have to scroll all the way to the bottom
Here's the direct link, don't know if it'll work for you or not.

Thanks for the reply but I trieed that direct link else where already. also I can just get the apk from google like i did last time.
you can create shortcuts to hidden menus through the activities widget in third party launchers like apex launcher and action launcher, probably others.
CQATest: CQATest > CQATest > .Test_MenuMode
Phone info (submenu of Testing): Settings > Phone info > .RadioInfo
Programming Menu: Programming Menu > Programming Menu > .ProgMenuApp$ProgMenuList
Qualcomm Settings: com.qualcomm.qualcommsettings > Qualcomm Settings > .QualcommSettings
Testing: Settings > Testing > .TestingSettings
All of those work except the programming menu when using the action launcher. Thanks for sharing!

Is it possible to install and use Moto Voice app on the Nexus 6? ..considering it has the hardware to support it and is motorola. It just has a few more helpful voice commands like the 'find my phone' which would be nice to have.
No, as that is a Motorola app and the Nexus does not use Motorola software.

Have you even tried? Your answer isn't really useful...
There was a port of moto suite to the max or maybe razor don't remember which just Google moto port and look on xda http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2687141
This may work
I hope there's a Dev that can hack/port it over to the N6. I love Moto suite
+1 for hoping that the Moto Suite will work with N6.
It is simple, its already there.. All u need to do is
1. Settings> language and input >language, also select English(India) .
2. Then scroll down go to voice input and select enhanced google services (click on the gear wheel)> languages, select english india and then on "ok" google detection , u will now see "retrain voice model" try anything that stats with ok . i have ok moto as mine..
Iam not sure if step 1 is required or not but i stumbled upon it by accident and those are the settings i have now, all though my keyboard language say English(US)
Hi all,
Living in an area scarcely covered with 4G, I've always used *#*#4636#*#* menu to set LTE only mode on my two previous phones.
But, apparently, on my P30 Pro this menu is locked by manufacturer. I can't access it and if launched from 3rd party apps, get an error message telling me this functionality is disabled.
Does anyone have any idea if it's possible to unlock this menu?
Thanks in advance

This did show all the settings, but when I tap to select, it selects the one that was set before selection, so doesn't really work
So, what I've found out, is the following - the value 11 (which corresponds to LTE only), doesn't display this option after restart, even when you put "11,9,6,2,1" instead of "9,6,2,1", and the value 12 (which corresponds to LTE/WCDMA) does appear after restart, but doesn't let you select it and falls back to GSM/WCDMA/LTE...
Only possible solution is to leave the field empty or put "-1" and select LTE only, which you can select, but even in this case you can't select LTE/WCDMA.
Thanks for the help!
