With good battery life?
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
There's no such thing as a best ROM, especially when it comes to battery life. Everyone will have their own preferences when using ROMs and everyone will use their phone differently and therefore have different results in regards to battery life.
Due to that, the only thing you can do is to test them out by yourself so that way you'll know which one is best FOR YOU.

MIUI has awesome battery life. It's the best in my opinion.
I will give my personal opinion every phone i had has a horrible battery life only nokias e series would last me a whole day under heavy duty use. Todays phones with huge touch screen and widgets and always syncing they all suck the batteries like nothing under heavy use welcome to 2011 tech using 2003 batteries.

There aren't many roms to choose from, but android revolution has been quite good on battery life for me. And I'm a pretty heavy user.

Thanks for your input. Was the sense or sense-less version?

I am really satisfied with the battery life in Android Revolution HD
IMO you'll regret the decision to take the phone...
anyway, revolution hd is good, i use it without sense.
I have reason to take my inc, the this years glastonbury app is actually really useful as it has a clash finder and a reminder function. So many years I have missed things due to losing track of time (i may have not been sober to be fair)
To everyone else, thanks for the advice. Looks like i will be going for revolution!

Usually my battery last 2 days atleast with Android HD 1.0.2
is anyone else having bad battery life once they updated to stock (.56) ICS?
to me I'm getting anywhere between 2-3 hours less life out of my phone and i have larger (1800mAh) batteries.
i even take the batteries out every now and then and charge them on a wall battery charger that came with the batteries.
i have taken more measures to get better battery life and it appears that there is nothing i can do
i would get better battery life on HoliRaider with 1.6GHz OC!!!

Have you tried wiping battery stats? And doing a full battery calibration? If that even applies to this device I know it worked on my skyrocket.

It's been proven that wiping the stats doesn't do much. The skyrocket imo has better battery life than the vivid and runs on a higher mah batt.

I've tried just about everything, auto-sync off, brightness all the way down, wifi on /off, etc etc, it seems like the only way to have decent battery life is to keep data off all the time
one feature that i do miss from GB is you had the option of having "on demand data"..
however i do wish that at&t would go ahead and give us the option of having an LTE on/off switch.... yes i live in one of the cities blessed with LTE but it really takes a tole on your battery even when its in your pocket not being used

Did you try faux123's new kernel?

i still haven't rooted my phone (again) since ICS was released, will it work with RumFloat and/or just rooted no rom?
Bought the Note mainly for the battery (and I have been amazed with it overall) what, in your opinion is the best ROM, ROM/Kernel for battery life.
Right now I'm using Rocket and Speed mod but I've found stock to be very similar in regards to battery

Hey guys I'm in need of an upgrade and I think the HTC One is the answer!
I was wondering if you could please give me feedback on your experience so far.
All I know about the cons like
Can't change battery
No SD card...
So how is the battery life etc??
Thanks

Read through all the posts in General and you'll get your information. Like I tell everyone, buy the phone because you want it, not because someone else sold it to you.
The storage is just enough for me. It would be nice to have a sd card slot though. Battery life lasts 12 hours for me on a regular day. Matters how much you use it of course. The main thing that sold me on the phone was Sense.

Have it and don't recommend. I'd wait for the next nexus. I've been disappointed with the camera on the One. 2nd One with camera issues, purple and/or red tint. Otherwise solid phone.

Pros: great screen, front speakers are awesome, nice build, fast, great front camera, good size, great reception, awesome in red, I like the notification LED
Cons: back camera sucks compared most other phones (pictures are pixelated), battery life could be better but it's manageable, charges really slow
Noted: You quickly adapt to the lack of a menu button, takes great pics in the dark, Sense is probably the best skin available, the TV app is really useful.
Verdict: Not bad for a "phone", I think i would have personally liked the S4 better. My 14 year old daughter has one too and loves it.I'll be getting the Note 3 once its affordable and selling this one.
Have one, don't recommend. HTC refuses to pay attention to details such as build quality. It refuses to fix the purple tint issue. The camera is overrated. The battery life is only decent. You can't get S-off on certain hboots.
Wait for the Nexus 5. It looks freaking sweet.

Wait it out bro. This phone is 5 months old and hasn't smelled an update. You have to worry about pink camera issue, the build quality gamble, and who knows if 32gb is enough for you. Wait it out instead of jumping so quickly
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4
I, personally, love mine. No camera issue, fast as hell, and we haven't seen an update to 4.2.2 because HTC is jumping right to 4.3 within the next couple weeks.
I've not had a better smart phone experience and I owned a RAZR HD and a galaxy s iii

I love my HTC One. Like everyone else said, the battery could be better but I'm running complete stock so maybe a custom ROM would help the battery. As for the camera issue, HTC said that they would fix it with the 4.3 update so I wouldn't worry about that. The only thing is that this phone is I think five months old so if you really want a HTC phone, then go for it. I would take this over the S4 and the next Nexus mainly because of HTC Sense. And the specs are as good as the competitors so it all comes down to preference of UI and features. My One has never frozen on me and I've had it for two months. Great phone and would definitely recommend it. Let us know what you decide!
EDIT: Sorry I got off track and forgot to answer your questions. The battery lasts me about 10-11 hours but that's on stock. The storage is more than enough to have for another two years. And like I said, my One has never frozen on me so no need for a battery pull. And I'm sure that HTC made the charging of the phone take longer to conserve the overall life of the battery but mine charges pretty fast. It's not slow but it's not super fast either.

This phone uses the older generation of Gorilla glass, people from the Taiwan forums are reporting that the 4.3 update doesn't fix the camera tint, and I get around 14 hours battery life with moderate use. This phone is already outdated and you would be a fool to pay $600 for it when there are much better phones just around the corner.
