No one here is going to be able to answer this as this forum is 99.9% US Sprint customers. This is something you'd have to get from a Vodafone India customer, which won't be in this forum.
I can tell you that a lot of people have struggled to get the Sprint phone working properly in other countries as although it takes a SIM, it really was only designed and tested on Sprint's CDMA network (totally different technology to GSM). It does support the Vodafone India 3G frequencies.
You could try to flash a custom ROM maybe based on AOSP which might give better luck connecting to international networks.

Sprint One has gsm radios. The OP needs to talk to guys in the international One forum about apns and such. We cant help him.

Sprint HTC One's GSM bands:
GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS850, UMTS1900
I think India may have UMTS on 1700 or 2100 which is not supported. You are stuck on 2G.

Your S.O.L. ...Google that phrase
You might have better luck asking other members who have successfully unlocked and are using vodaphone also in India. This user here seems to have it unlocked and is on 3G on vodaphone in India. You should probably send him a message and ask him and hope for a response. The fact is the majority of the us will have no info since we are on Sprint in the US.

Update: it works. I installed BadBoyZ 4.3 ROM and then replaced the OMADM apk using TWRP and fixed permissions. The app then successfully launches the API but i manually had to select the sim unlock option and viola it was done. rebooted and got network. Using on Vodafone 3G India currently.
I suspect that the previous attempt to unlock on 4.3 OTA failed since i tried the deodexed apk on stock odexed rom. if someone flashes stock 4.3 deodexed rom and tries the same, might work correclty.
Also please note that if you flash a rom cooked with an older base(non 4.3 base), the touchscreen wouldn't work as HTC has updated the drivers on 4.3 OTA and they are not backward compatible with older Base.

Correction: according to the box for the sprint HTC one, it supports UMTS on 1900/2100 and my Googgling showed Vodafone India uses 2100 mhz umts for 3g so it is possible.

it supports some gsm radios. i know it supports the most popular european used gsm freq. but it doesnt contain all the gsm freq that the international or normal gsm version has.
it only supports up to hspa+ on the sprint htc one. no lte. thats how it was when i was traveling europe.

Yes, but I am not in the US so I asked a buddy of mine to buy it for me. The problem is that he do not remember what he choosed. And I am Having issues connecting to 3G in my country and I think it is because my phone is running on 900MH and the provider offers on 850.
if your phone is PB99110 (check underneath battery) then it is AT&T model with 850 MHz 3G freq

2 bad for me. Thank you guys a lot. Now I have to sell this phone
talk to Google and you guys are right about two different phones but they say that as soon as you tell them your carrier (when you buy it )they give you that specific one like me i got PB99100 and is a t mobile network, cause if you would have a att version it wouldnt work on it ...cause att has (1900mhz)have a higher frequency than tmo (1700mhz) that's what they told me so guys don't trip.....
i have a problem, because im terribly confused....
you see.. i live in the dominican republic, and i have a nexus one... my numbers are PB99100, and i know for a fact that the UMTS/HSPA frequency for my carrier is 900mhz, same as T-mobile, and for some reason i cannot get my 3g network to connect... im fine as long as im in 2g only... as soon as i switch, i hey the little H sign, and then nothing happens, i cant navigate, or even make phone calls, cant do anything...
so i was wondering, the PB99100 is the version that is compatible with the 900 frequency, and thats the one i have... and it doesnt work....
can you please help me?
im in the Dominican Republic, and my Carrier is Orange Dominicana.
thanks!

Radio is also known as your baseband and can be found under Settings -> About Phone.
5.08 is usually the recommended version.
Yes i did search and couldn't come up with nothing so im turning to my peers for help.
I wanted to know is there a way you can check and see if the nexus one is att branded or t-mobile? If you cannot does the att branded nexus one work with t-mobile 3g?
There's 2 GSM models. One that works with att 3g and one that works with T-Mobile 3g.
yes i know thanks for the information i was asking if there is a way to check which one is which?
AT&T has a different model number under the battery. I forget the beginning numbers but the last three numbers for T-Mobile is 100 for AT&T it is 110. Both models will work on either network's GSM networks but only AT&T's phone will get 3G on AT&T's network.
ok thanks would the att nexus one connect to 3g for t-mobile 3g i know t-mobile use different frequencies but on google they look the same
nevermind the att does not support aws please close

Here ya go.
I'm moving to, not visiting, Belgium in a few months and want to obviously use my Nexus One.
I currently have the AT&T version
Compatible with 3G on AT&T (U.S.) and these wireless providers in Canada.
Supports three 3G/UMTS bands (850/1900/2100 MHz) and four GSM radio frequencies (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)

It does use a SIM card right now and do Belgium cell phone carriers use SIM's?
Is my Nexus currently compatible with Belgium frequencies/bands?
What carrier should I go with?
I have no clue and want to have a bit of a clue when I get there
Thanks!
I Live in the Netherlands (neighbour of belgium) and i can use my phone here, the t-mobile version. and i also can use my phone when i'm in belgium.
So i don't know if the At&t version will work but the t-mobile version works fine, and yes we use sim
Cool thanks.

Which version of the Nexus One do you use? What is a good service provider over there for cell?
According to this link: http://www.netcomm.com.au/solutions/3g-mobile-broadband/why-use-3g-hspa/3g-carriers
It appears that belgium is using 2100MHz for 3G so it looks like the AT&T version should work fine (and the TMobile version ofc).
edit:
All GSM carriers use SIM cards.

Hi,
I got from my friend HTC Velocity 4G from Telestra network.
I installed new official ICS ROM from telestra and I'm using this phone in europe on t-mobile network.
I have question regarding connecting to LTE network. Telestra, and T-Mobile in my country have LTE network on 1800 MHz frequency, but I can't log on to LTE network in my country. I tried few other official ROM-s (Cingular, SKT, Vodafone, ...) but all other networks have LTE on different frequencies and I assume that is the reason why I can't log on to my LTE network.
I even try force logon via USSD code *#*#4636#*#*, but without success. All other 'technologies' works awsome (GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA).
I'm noob, so can anybody tell me is there any other way to logon to my LTE network.
I also have Huawei Speedstick LTE and with my SIM card I can logon to my LTE network so there is no problem with LTE subscription or my SIM card.
Is there any radio that I need to flash so I can logon to my network ?
THNX in advance for answers ?

So your service provider is Telstra, correct
Sent from my De-Sensed HTC Vivid using xda app-developers app
Could be wrong...but I think it requires both the 1800 and 2600 frequencies...I remember reading somewhere that one was for down and the other was for up or something like that...I'll try and find it and clarify
But again I could be wrong...I know little when it comes to phone frequencies and how they are actually used...
Second post has what I was referring to in more detail...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1338028 don't know the credibility of all that...but seems logical to me...then again like I said earlier I know little about service/frequencies...

Nope, my service provider is T-Mobile Croatia. Here in Croatia we have LTE network on 1800 MHz, and that is the reason why i flashed with Telestra ROM, telestra also have LTE network on 1800 MHz frequency.
I tried few other ROMs that I downloaded from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1338919 but with no success regarding LTE which is logical because cingular, SKT, vodafone....they have LTE networks on other frequencies.
I think that I could solve my problem by flashing radio, but I can't find anywhere some other radio for my Velocity/Raider/Vivid...
I don't think that even with s-off we can flash radios...
Something about an engineering hboot that we don't have... I might be wrong though....

Yes, I read about that too, but I think that is important for USA where they have 2 LTE frequencies, and here we only have 1800 MHz.

Hi everyone. I am very new to this.
I am in Australia and Australia carriers (Telstra, Vodafone, Optus etc) have their HTC ONE model 801s. I am ordering the HTC ONE from UK which has the 801n.
Between 801n and 801s, the only thing i m concerned is the 850mhz HSPA/3G, which 801s has and 801n do not.
If I get the 801n, is there a way to make it able to work on the 850mhz HSPA/3G?
I m very new to this. So sorry if there is a thread for this, but I just doesn't know which one, as I saw people saying flashing ROM or Radio is the way to change it (like having 850mhz on the 801n).
Thanks in advance.
Im interested in this as well, but searching this forum for the "radio" topics it seems its not possible yet, maybe someday... but not now though as these post suggests
