Hey guys,
Can't seem to find a thread with recommended/good apps to sideload via the various options.
So far I've got:
Multiwindow Calculator (Any other options with bigger numbers?)
Subway Surfer (More to impress my little cousins)
MX Player (Probably to show off)
I've tried:
Football Kicks (Game, Worked but pretty hard on the small screen)
I'll be trying out more apps and will update this thread.
Can anyone think of/have any good apps that will work well w/o the internet capabilities and typing.
Suggested Apps:
Flit Keyboard
Fat Finger Calculator
Gameboid
Fruit Ninja
Llama (Not sure what this does, gotta check it out)
Go to market and try: Fat finger caculator. looks and works great on Gear
I just installed Flit Keyboard (free on Google Play) which is perfect for the small display of Gear, just install it and reboot then will working well.
How can I install it on the gear

Tasker and Locale don't work but Llama does. Haven't played with it much though. Also, pretty much all camera apps I tried worked to some extent.

ofcourse if keyboard works you can type stuff
unfortunately keyboard isn't really supported and pops up in random places eg. dialer
you'll need an sms app to send messages via phone. perhaps a mightytext equivalent that routes through gear manager or however it works
google keyboard works fine after restart of watch
The first application I've install was Es-Explorer .
with Es-Explorer, you can listen music, See video, Pictures... etc...
You can also manage installed applications
for game, CanKnockdown, Cut The Rope, Fruit Ninja, Subway Surf work well.
A greet stuff to lurn more about specification is CPU-Z

I watch a lot of videos on my evo, I stopped playing games on my smartphones and just used them for school/personal work. I figured out that since I have an ipod touch that I'll use that as my mobile gaming device. The evo has great games but, every game is a battery whore.

Hi guys, just thought I'd share my findings. Not sure if many here use veetle but here goes.
So it was the FA Cup final (soccer?) over in england and I can't get a decent steam over here in asia. Thus I turned to veetle. Veetle plays on my g tablet with flash 10.3. But video is a bit choppy. I'm on tnt 4.4.
To overcome this, I searched the net and found a "fix".
Heres what you need to do:
1) Get dolphin hd browser (not sure if setting user agent is available on stock browser)
2) Get vplayer from market (if not available, search online for apk)
3) Go to settings in dolphin browser and set user agent to Iphone (not ipad).
4) Visit veetle.com and stream away. The video should open the vplayer and stream the .m3u8 format from there.
Note: vplayer is a paid app. Free version is a trial for seven days. I bought the app on my desire hd and ported over. It did not appear on my g tablet market. (using olympus build prop). And watching on copy righted content on veetle is not strictly legal but I'm a poor student and theres no decent feed here.

Hi monadzback, did you get an solution for installing youtube on your Gear ? Thanks
Edit: OK, I had installed Youtube apk 5.5.27 (did not work, keeping complaining about Google Play Services version). So I looked for older youtube apks and was successfull with 4.0.8E.
What about 3rd party Youtube players like Viral?
Thanks. I did not know about viral.
