How to flash stock rom?

Hello, i have odin v1.85 and also have stock firmware for p7300, just need to know what are the instructions to flash using odin?

Hi,

It has complete instructions for using ODIN. I used it to flash stock two weeks ago.

Root GT-i9000 with DDJVB ROM 9 (INU)

Hello All,
Please guide me on how i can root the INU ROM DDJVB 2.3.6.
I've tried looking for it. But seem to come up to the 2.3.3 one.

EDIT: I tried CF-Root-XX_OXA_JW4-v4.4-CWM3RFS.zip and phone is still working. So that does it i guess

Hi. I rooted the phone as i informed above. Now, SuperUser Request keeps looping. Keeps asking repeatedly to grant permissions. What do i do?

you have allow permissions for those apps that you have installed and running , or go to open Superuser > settings > automatic response > touch allow

Its Worked for me like a charm!!!!!!!!!

Hi,
I have got the CF-Root-XX_OXA_JW4-v4.4-CWM3RFS.zip and Odin 3_v3.04 with me downloaded on my PC. Please could you share the procedure for rooting my phone GT I9000 on DDJVB Gingerbread 2.3.6 . Sorry for these questions but I am really new to this whole thing.

i tried 2-3 times all i got is that the phone is stuck on the boot loop... please suggest something coz i had paid enough to restore my phone

Dude download Odin v1.85 that would be best.... Bring your phone to download mode(volume down + menu+ power button). Now run Odin and connect ur phone, Odin will detect your phone. Now take the cf root file and put it in the PDA and just press start. At finish Odin will make the column green and pass would be written on it.

Actually flashing jw4 just changes your kernel from jvb to jw4. And it is rooted so works by the way there is.no cf root for jvb.

How to restore original kernel version?

I dont really understand roms and flash so forgive me.
I rooted my phone to use an app and I also downloaded the kernal franco which i dont know if its a rom or flash or what but i cant upgrade to the latest firmware and it has also bugged my phone.
I have manged to unroot my phone but i want to go back to the original kernal and have my phone how it was.
Another thing is i am a mac user so Odin is just nothing to me.
Really need help.

I guess you can use Heimdall to flash kernel using Mac.
You can download appropriate kernel from this thread,

I have downloaded Heimdall but havent a clue how to use it. Cant find a tutorial or post anywhere.
Any idea which would be my the stock kernal on that thread. I have a UK GT-N7000?

How do I root it? Is it normal that I just root normally by Odin3?
And if I did that, am I done or what? And how do I get ROMs for that version?

Basically, you get the already rooted image, and flash it on the phone via Odin.

I've searched all over the internet for this firmware. Either the file was deleted or the link is broken. That's why I made this thread.
