This question is a bit kernel based. Is there any way to modify the default power saver in sense 5 to adjust the CPU power saver? I'm guessing this is kernel based because the Bulletproof Kernel by Flair has no issue with power saver and the Elemental kernel does.

Can anyone that knows explain the differences between the kernal that is installed with CM6, pershoot's kernal, and stock? I understand the former two allow 1113mhz but what other differences are there? Pros/cons?

The new kernel is also under volted from 1036mhz down. (around there I believe, or it uses adaptive power supplying below that mark) The power supplied when the CPU scales to 1113mhz is bumped up to max, (above stock voltage but still in design specifications) it needs full power for stability when running that high, and returns to normal when the CPU scales back down. If you keep the max CPU frequency below the point where the power is increased you can get better battery life. You must have setCPU to get anything other than stock speed and scaling settings. (though the UV'ing will be there without it)
Hi, just wanted to know which scaling setting you Note users are using
I'm trying conservative right now, should be nice for battery life.

Hey guys!
Just for a whim, I reverted back to GB just to note some differences between the ICS Sense 3.6 and GB Sense 3.0. I've noticed that under the power setting some options have been removed. First, under power there is an option to enable power efficiency, enable power saver (restrict power when battery is low), and enable sleep mode. Why would HTC have removed these in ICS? Does ICS have better power management?
I have the CPU set to 1.7 Ghz I want to edit it but it changes back to the original 1.7

Hello, I would like to ask which is the best kernel and configuration (governor,io scheduler, etc) for battery saving? Also I need the kernel to be Pie compatible and I would prefer if it supported DT2W. Thank you very much
I use Dark Phoenix Fade kernel by Harukey. I use default setting/config. and it has pretty good battery life. I can reach +/- 24 hours for normal use (LTE data on, casual browsing, see 1 hour film).
Dark Phoenix Fade has DT2W also and yes, it supports Pie.
