ElementalX Kernel Cannot Edit Cpu Clocking - Nexus 6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have the CPU set to 1.7 Ghz I want to edit it but it changes back to the original 1.7

what's your battery percentage at and is your phone hot?

[Q] [Gingerbread] Battery Drain - Conservative governor

Hi all.
I notice some strange things about the Android OS battery drain bug.
I use SetCPU to DC my phone at low battery level and change the CPU Governors.
I'm on Darkys 10.1 whith Darkcore 2.4.
And i just notice that i had the Android OS bug.
When i use SetCpu to see the CPU usage i see that it never go below 400, while i was in conservative governor.
When i set to "on demand" it goes back to normal and reach 100mhz.
It comes back to 400 mini if i turn back to conservative.
So, coult the the Android OS battery drain be caused by a bad coding of conservative governor.
Should we avoid to use this governor?
Thx

Abyssnote 3.2 and tegrak overclock ultimate

I am really confused about how this tegrak overclock app works. As suggested by angelom i gave up setcpu for tegrak but i can't seem to figure out a couple of things.
I am trying to get 100-1400 mhz with undervolting. So i chose the voltages i wanted, then chose max cpu frequency as 1.4 ghz.
Now heres the problem. In the optimization menu i now see cpu level 0 as 1400mhz as well as cpu level 3 as 1400mhz. Level 1 and 2 are still 1664 and 1600. Also the voltages for level 0 are the ones for 1704mhz.
Is tegrak setting my voltages for 1400mhz correctly? Because my phone seems to be running fine however low i set my lvl 3 1400mhz voltage. I even set it to 900mv and quadrant still ran. (Trying to alter voltages over level 3 causes the app to force close after i set max cpu freq to 1.4)
Either tegrak automatically reverts back to the original voltage when the system is unstable (in which case.. How would i know when this happens?) or something isn't working right.
I am on a stock kk3 rom.

[Q] The best setting for my phone

I just installed EliteV9.1 Beta ROM with Devil2_0.64 kernel and I9020a KF1 Radio for my SGS.
Now, what is the best setting for my phone to get greater autonomy of battery?
P.S. I didn't configure anything, I only installed!
can anyone help me
setting
1}flash KB3 modem.
2}install NS TOOLS.
3}then go to ns tools and in tweak set IO SCHEDULER TO sio AND ALSO SET STATUS off
4}now go in cpu setting n set Governor to smartassV2.
5}now set MIN CPU FREQ TO 2OO AND MAX CPU FREQ TO 1300.
6}for better battery install DX BATTERY BOOST AND SET MODE: LONG AND check on SMART.

Kernel stock And Min free CPU with setcpu (rooted)

Hi
My s5 default frequency CPU are 300 Min And 2400 max.
I have root. stock rom And kernel. I have Read about clocking And if i increase CPU sped in its Min values The CPU should be more reactive. (i have stock kernel for mantain knox To 0x0 And i don.'t need a overclock up 2400 because 2400 is enought i think..) So, if i have 300 Min And 2400 max which Min value Can i set without problems? 400?652?728?or 883?
Now i have 883.. It' ok for CPU or i should have problems ? I Can set more than 883?if yes what CPU Min frequency could i set?
I have set when The Phone is charging or screen is off or calling The CPU turns To normal values (300 Min 2400 max).
The governor i use is stock interactive scheduler row.
I dov'è care about battery. If The change drop fastly is Not a problem for me. I want The Phone more reactive And responsi possible without problems on the CPU ecc..
Shouldn't have any problems, you might experience a bit more battery drain, that's about it. Sometimes when my screen is on, my phone automatically adjusts to 1190 as min, so I don't think you need to do anything.
Stock kernel, rooted
883 is too Hight or i Can set more? Like 960 or 1036 or 1190?i think more that 1190 is excessive.
In My experience when you open setcpu And do Nothing normally The CPU is 300.when you simply touch The screen it increase To 1190 so The 1190 i think is the minimal value of CPU when you use The Phone for operations. So maybe i think i could be ok if i set 1190.

Overclocking htc one m7

dear modders
i just want to say i overclocked my htc one m7 cpu from 1.7ghz to 2.1 GHZ
with a custom kernel called ElementalX-m7-22.3-Sense
is this save can the phone run this without any stability issue's or shall i downclock it to 1.9
i use M7_Sense7_artmod_10.0 rom Lolipop 5.0.2 with sense 7 cause this is the only one without any bugs like no sound when you got called or sms sound's no boot sounds
i fixed my boot sound anyway on this rom
so my question is wont my phone be fried by this overclock cause i saw in the aroma installer that it can be overclock till 3 GHZ

Overclocking the CPU in any system usually results in 2 main things:
a. Significantly shorter battery life.
b. heating issues.
sometimes (less frequently) you might experience a crash and fc here and there.
So yeah, it won't be all rainbows and butterflies.
PS: you probably won't reap the benefits of your now overclocked CPU without an app like no frills CPU or kernel Aduitor. Your device's performance isn't just about its CPU frequency, there's the min Max frequency your system is allowed to utilize, the CPU governor, and the I/o scheduler..
and
PPS: don't and I repeat DO NOT go anywhere near 3 GHz.
good luck.
I'm runnimg 2.1 Ghz OC for over 2 years without any issues. I would like to note that 2.1 Ghz on Elemental was not too stable for me, so I ran that on 2.0 Ghz. Anyway - i don't have any issues with my kernel, no overheating, battery lasts 100% same as stock frequency, no reboots, everything works as it's ment to work. If you really want to run on that frequency, make sure you set your voltage table to match your CPU clocks. Undervolting is not a good idea on such high clocks, so you might want to raise your voltages for higher frequencies a bit

ok mate
yeah i could raise also min clocks might turn that a noch up
just was wondering if it was possible without any harms
there are now on 384mhz 1 core is always active and 3 others are sleeping aid64 tells me
the temps are now 29 celcuis for 2.1 ghz
