So I tried replacing the original bootanimation with a custom one and after the phone restarted, it would play some of the animation and then just have a black screen. I still received calls and texts but the screen stays black. Not sure how to fix this. Can anyone guide me in how to simply reformat the phone completely?
Recover your phone completely? Flash tft via flashtool. But you'll loose all data, including internal memory.
I guess you're on stock rom, and if you have unlocked bootloader, you can try flashing kernel with recovery via fastboot

HI, im sort of a noob at this but i have been using the Custonexus rom for a cuple of days now and it have been running very good But yesterday when i tried to unlock the phone, the lockscreen didn't show up, the backlit buttons turned on as usual.
I turned off the phone, and did a factory reset. The phone booted up as normal with no problems. When i was up and running again, i booted into recovery to flash back to the stock rom from my backup just to be sure it didn't happened again. I did a factory reset and navigated to the backups but the backup was gone I rebooted the phone but it got stuck on the CN boot screen. What should i do? i have tried many times to reboot it but it always get stuck on the boot animation.
Install original lg kdz and redo everything.

So i turned off my z1 and turned it on again so i can boot into recovery. But no green led light flashed. It booted straight to my home screen. Tried restarting again but still i cabt get into recovery. I tried flashing stock kitkat firmware but still nothing. Factory reset and sril no avail. Is there a way to install a recovery without root? Im currently on lollipop 5.0.2. Thanks

From what I have gathered on my learning of rooting and recovering, that unless your phone is Samsung or one that comes with a stock recovery option, then the phone must be rooted in order to use one.
Last night I decided to restore my stock rom of sony xperia sp c5303 using cwm recovery after using cyanogenmod for some days , but I messed up big time , after wiping data and formatting system using cwm recovery I accidentally rebooted my phone instead of restoring the backup of my stock rom stored in sdcard . the phone now only loads the logo of SONY and the illumination bar glows red , the phone is unable to boot into recovery mode nor it turns off or on I am unable to poweroff it , it only displays the logo all the time . is there anything I can do to fix it ? P.S the bootloader is locked .

i only manage to get custom roms working (using zips)
ive tried to download a zip flashable stock rom file but all links either are dead or non existant (anyone got a backup for me please?)

Go to device manager and uninstall all drivers and install the drivers from the flashtool/drivers folder.

I wanted to return the factory software to Sony with the earlier I had lineago 7.1 and the software said it was inserted and when I turned on the phone stands only the logo sony and the phone will not start if it can help
my phone suddenly started this problem with the mic and was frozen too
last week my phone was out of battery but when i charged it up and wanted to boot it, it went on bootloop (couldn't access recovery either)
So i kinda wanted to install TWRP (which I did) and tried a new custom rom.
but now even after a clean stock rom flash using Odin, phone wont boot at all. its stuck on samsung logo to Galaxy A71 logo back and forth. any solutions? please.

If flashing full stock isn't working, then it could be a dead motherboard
