as the thread title states how to use two way call recordinf feature in nAa-08 kernel.........i didnt find it in settings................. can anybody help
U may find it somewhere in tha settings. Or there must be a app in the market. Search for two way call recorder
Can't find it too...searched everywhere with no luck but some apps from the market works like a charm
whats the function of two way rec? n why is it against the law in some country? ?
Sent from my E15i using xda premium
you can record both sides while taking to phone (your voice and the other side's voice).
until now you could only record your voice and the other one was very silent.
It's against the law to record phone calls in some countries. At least without letting the other side know he/she is being recorded.
Yeah I'm also curious about this feature from the nAn-08 kernel. I've tried some from market and found none that I like. Would love to have some native recording capabilities with MiniCM.
Now you have that option in the last release of Alf Kernel

It could be 4.2.2 incompatible. You can message the app developer about it. U can also maybe ask in Lacoste thread cuz its a Lacoste related problem. If you ask in Lacoste thread and the issue gets to Lacoste i doubt hed do much bout it tho cuz there are far more pressing concerns and issues regarding the ROM

I mean the problem of radio .... I worked s-off
Possible link radio?
Maybe it's related to the audio problem with sip call with stock dialer. There is no sound for caller and receiver when I make sip voip call on a 4.2 ROM.

SIP is just a kind of voip (internet) call. It's like a viber call but you can use the stock dialer to make and receive this kind of call (dialer settings > internet call ). It didn't work on any 4.2 ROM I tried. Since both our problems are voip, 4.2 and no sound related, it's probably the same bug.
Btw using a third party app to make SIP call worked... Strange...

Ok Thank You
Since google removed the ability with aw2.0 is anyone working on an app to bring back this function?
Currently with AW2.0 if you have a watch without a speaker, you can not use it to answer your phones calls. You do get a notification that you have a call, but your only option is to reject it, there is no option for answering :/
You can use MacroDroid.

Sorry, but did you click enhanced LTE services? It should bring up a icon to your desktop. Click it then it should take you to a additional page where you can check/uncheck the option.

Nice trick. I wonder why this isn't available in the regular menu anymore. Any other hidden settings like this we should be aware of?
Does VoLTE make any difference in call quality? HD Voice with T-Mobile users seems exactly the same, and calls with other carriers sound terrible with VoLTE to begin with. It does not seem worth leaving VoLTE enabled, since you lose out on conference call management features.
Edit: I just tested a call with someone on a different carrier with VoLTE turned off, and the call quality was significantly better than when VoLTE was enabled. Seems like there is no advantage to VoLTE except maybe signal availability in areas where there is no GSM signal?

HD voice is volte man.... Hence the HD part. It's using your data network to make the call. If you call someone that doesn't have volte capability, it's going to sound a lot worse, but they use to have it baked in to not use volte if the other person didn't have it. I guess now they just re convert the signal instead
HD Voice and VoLTE are not the same thing. VoLTE is merely the carriage of voice over LTE. It's use is mandated by the GSM Association, and it uses the HD Voice codec to turn your words into a digital signal. HD Voice is what has become the trade name of a particular voice codec, AMR Wideband (AMR-WB). HD Voice operates over UMTS and GSM, it is not unique to LTE.
Even with VoLTE turned off, we still get HD voice calls between T-Mobile users and it sounds generations better than other calls.

Turning off volte also turns off HD voice in tmobile phones.
Volte can be disabled from Settings, Connections, Mobile Networks, 4G Call. (if T-Mobile let it there)

Not all, and even then for the ones that behave that way, if you drop down to 3G (HSPA+) you still retain HD-Voice (AMR-WB)
HD-Voice is not VoLTE
VoLTE is not WiFi calling

No I know that. But while I was in the settings menu for it, whenever I turned off VOLTE, it auto turned off HD voice and grayed it out
Thanks for this, for whatever reason my VoLTE was disabled by default. Was wondering why my outgoing calls dropped to 4G all the time.
Anybody who has an idea how to make call recording to work? Maybe someone has a zip or something??

Hey I'm using ACR, free 2 way call recording app for Android. Get it free at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nll.acr
This one works absolutely fine on my Note 5 Nougat.. N9208 Dual Sim. Even records on bluetooth perfectly.

Just use Dr.ketan's app that activates the stock rom's hidden feature to record and replaces the add call with a record button.
