Is there a way to revert back to the Maps version 6.0 without being rooted? I went to settings, apps, maps and it does not have the options to uninstall update which is 7.0.2.
I'd say find the old apk and reinstall it

I tried. It won't let me uninstall the new version 7.3. Any suggestions would help.
looks like you're out of luck without root. would only let me uninstall back to 7.02

if you want to go back that bad you can always rsd back to stock firmware and start over and don't let it update lol. that is a terrible way to do it but assuming it is not the new apk built into the stock firmware you would be good.
You should be able to install it via a file explorer if you can find the apk to download. Settings>Security>unknown sources needs to be checked.

Here you go. I kept a copy in case I ever wanted to go back. It should install right over the new version. Just don't update it via the play store.

Google Wallet for the HTC ONE.
-Easy fix for viper Rom
-Should work on stock rooted w/ wp . -removed Kernal
-Always save your original build.prop before modifying
Using Rom Toolbox
1. Open up build.prop editor
2. Change the following values
ro.product.model=Galaxy Nexus
ro.product.name=yakju
ro.product.device=maguro
3. Save changes
4. Reboot device, install wallet and open
-wallet takes a couple minutes to initialize so be patient, it works great!
5. Restore your original build.prop
This method should work fine on stock rooted also as long as you have a kernal with /system wp removed.
Also, if you don't want Rom toolbox you can navigate to /system/build.prop and open the file in any text editor to make the changes.

Honestly I'm not sure where I got it. I believe that it came from Viperrom. Duce says that it wasn't added in d3rpONE (I noticed mine working while I was on d3rpONE, but I think something restored it from viperrom), and the only other ROM that I've run is Viper's.

Here's the link for the working (non-modified) Wallet apk that I use, with screenshot showing it on my One.

Just install the apk normally through a file explorer, no need to push with ADB, or do anything in recovery. I uninstalled mine and tested just to be sure.

I'm on AT&T.
(I guess I'm in the wrong group? I had it running on my AT&T Nexus S just fine, but I really wanted to upgrade
Think rooting would help overcome the problem of being on AT&T? Not sure why it worked on my Nexus S, since it was on AT&T too... I may have bought it as an unlocked phone, originally...

Got the same version . . Who has a newest one?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
Here is the latest Gear Manager apk. Suggest uninstalling previous version (seems to be the case each update ) then you need to reset your Gear (this also sucks). I couldn't get restore to work so just had to start again. It kept root, busybox, and my modded camera, but lost my apps (store and sideloaded) photos. You can try uninstalling the seperate parts that the manager installs as that looks to be the main issue with update, but it just reinstalls them. The other issue I found is that you also need to remove your Gear apps so that you can reinstall them
v1.2.131013 (23 Oct): http://www.mediafire.com/download/ibwt5qjpak335d5/com.samsung.android.app.watchmanager-1.apk

Any kind of changelog on these things?
Does anyone have a link to a version of Google Contacts that works on an unrooted Fire? I'm running 5.1.1
I found this version but when I open it on my fire it says it isn't compatible with my device.

Thanks in advance.
So is no one using a contact app on their fire?
I have it, but not using it. However, I have CM12.1 and another one with SlimLP.
If you have FireOS, probably are missing all the other apps/dependencies needed, which might be part of gapps. I would think...

I am running FireOS but I have gapps installed. It's odd that gmail & calendar run but not contacts. If no one comes up with a solution I may have to look at other contact apps. I hope that I can find one that syncs with Google.

Google contacts definitely works on mine on stock (albeit having flashed much of mini gapps) doesn't show on play store on mine though.
There's only one version (1.1) on apkmirror for android 5.1+ the only other one is for 6+

It doesn't appear in installed apps list on play store. Not sure if there is a newer non marshmallow one anyway though, guess it's not the sort of app that needs constant updates.
I was interested in looking for this kind of application earlier, but found that Amazon's default contact app was not so bad. If you need to use Google's, the latest version on apkmirror should be compatible.

If you have Exynos and want stock firmware/updates, then just flash the latest stock firmware using Odin.
If on the other hand you are rooted and want to stay that way, then just make the build.prop change for s-health and enjoy. You can't get ota updates while rooted, but you could flash new updates through Odin and then re-root, etc. (but make backups first).

Well until some one finds a way to reset knox , i believe no other way to update OTA on rooted device. Flashing Stockrom will solved OTA problem but S Health will remain unable to Opens.
If you wants to unroot, just choose full unroot from superuser manager app after editing the build.prop (still No OTA update though)
