[Q] T-Mobile - Xperia Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have been waiting and looking any kind of news about all this, but when do you all guys think that the Xperia Z1 will hit T-mobile? It will be right out the corner or maybe in 2 more months? I only have 1 more week to decide between this phone or the Note 3. Thanks to anyone that could give me more hope

Probably will have to wait 1-2 months... Otherwise you can try importing a C6906 model from Canada or a C6903 model from UK/Europe...

Why not go an ask them. This is a developers forum, not a sales service.

OK, I imagine they will not buy it, but you could stick it on eBay

I don't know where your'e from but if your'e from India, I do know for a fact that the Sony showroom will buy phones there... Have been reading about this quite a bit.. It would really help to know where your'e from as we could give you a better suggestion... Otherwise like greg said, the best place would be ebay but it is a bit of a hassle!

First, a 11 year old with a SP?! Really Surprised.
Now for the answer. Yes they do. I recently traded in both my Z and arc for Z1. My Z is totally new but went for just 24k and 7k for my arc. Imagine about SP. The sales persons won't quote above 20k. Not even 20k. Expect between 13-18k max. So after trading in your Z, you'll be paying about 28k (If SP goes for 15k). Cheers!!

[Poll] Touch Panel Problem & Dead Pixel

Please explain How did u get touch panel problem...
from the first touch?
or after some days?
or after update, flashing manually or unlock-bootloader and root?
problem appear when screen warm or not?
purchase date
& ...
(there might be more C6903 on poll results and it doesn't mean this edition is bad, it might because of more users for C6903 so more people to test and ...)
(there s already thread about touch panel issue But that was more personal experience and i want here more technical detail, tnx)

Got this problem after 2 months of using, after drowning it in the bathroom *suprisingly *, but I dried it as described in the manual So I hope that is not a reason. Z1 was rooted, UB. Temperature does not affect this. Bought it in November.

Maybe you got water in?
Sent from my C6906 using Tapatalk
I have this problem from the beginning... I don't know how to fix it... I won't send my phone under warranty to fix it because here in Poland they will do everything to not fix your phone. In Warsaw we have Sony support center, they are fixing there Sony and SE phones. But they are also destroying your phone eg.: after fixing your phone is full of scratching, it has got damage on housing. Here in Poland this is normal.

- C6903 - purchased in Finland (Nordic area) mid November.
- Got the problem from day 1 no matter whether the phone was cold or hot or warm or whatever.
- Could test for it with a posted method here on XDA sometimes but not 100% of the time.
- Tried rooting (no custom roms, no unlocking BL) but couldn't get rid of the issue.
- Took it for repair under warranty a week before christmas and got it back 2 days ago with changed display brackets. Works as a charm now.
