I have been using Android Revolution HD 21.0. My call quality is good but every minute or so it garbles and it is impossible to hear what is being said.
In my research I have found that this problem can be fixed by flashing a radio.
My current build number is "3.17.401.2 CL245412 release-keys"
My current radio is "4A.17.3250.14_10.39.1150.04L"
My phone is S-ON
I am on the UK H3G network.
My questions are:
Which radio should I try flashing?
Is it safe to flash any radio?
Has anyone encountered this issue before?
What else should I try?
Thanks!

I recently updated my N1 to Froyo. I used:
- N1 Radio 32.41.00.32U_5.08.00.04 (Zip Version)
- eViL's Q&D HTC Sense v.09.7 - base 2.06
Everything is fine UNTIL i use my Display Off button (on top of the N1) After that i complete losing signal. The only way to regain the signal is via restarting the mobile...
i have no clue :-( ...can someone help...
Thanx in advance

Yeah, I had other weird problems with this new radio. Try the other FroYo radio (http://www.androidspin.com/download...Official_Nexus1_Radio_Update_4.06.00.12_7.zip) Make sure to check this to make sure it is correct before flashing it: MD5: e49fb76877688e2c1f0fadcf8048c549
Enomther uploaded this radio image originally, flash this radio with your current ROM instead of the 5.08 radio.
See if that helps, both are 2.2 (FroYo) radios. If not report back, unless someone else has an idea.
I found that my network issue had something to do with the ROM (eViL's Q&D HTC Sense v.09.7) There was a network bug in some way, which has been fixed in the new version v.09.8.
Now everything works fine for me.
@vakman: thx for help!!

Is it not obvious that you need to flash the radio, then?

Did you flash the recommended radio from the ARHD post since this is a Gingerbread ROM? If you rooted the BM IncS and it had the original Froyo 2.2 ROM on it, then you need to flash a GB compatible radio, the Froyo based radios will not work on GB Roms.
use the recommanded radio or the latest one and flash it , the problem should be fixed.
still... this problem make me mad. no in-call sound except using speaker or handsfree.
i try using many ways , wipe everything, install other ROM, changing Radio, and this problem still occur.
what should i do then?
i searching in internet and read that some Inc S has this disease... and no cleary solution.
has someone facing this problem too? how do yo fix it.
thank you very much for any respons
Well a help center could help, if u got warranty.

I doubt radio could fix your issue.
If you have no in-call sound with all roms, you probably have a hardware issue.
Try ARHD or one of the stock rooted roms to be sure.
And do a FULL wipe before flashing.
i have downloaded the ARHD Rom, but the link of firmware (that contain the radio) & superwipe was error. can someone gimme fresh link? thank you very much.
i was install ARHD with the firmware and still, the problem not swipe.....
must check the hardware.......
Is anyone else experiencing poor call quality since upgrading to 4.4.2? I can hear just fine, but the user on the other end says it is VERY quiet and I have to yell into the phone for it to sound normal. it only seems to have happened after I updated to ARHD 4.4.2. I have also tried InsertCoin's latest revision and got the same result, even after using the Aroma option to disable the noise suppressor. I'm hoping I dont have a dud.
Was it normal before you updated?
That's weird because I didn't have any such issues. Try a factory reset may be ?

No issue here
No issue at all on Skydragon 9.3
Must be your phone.
I'm on SinLessROM and all is up and running. Maybe try a GPe ROM see how it goes. Update your favorite custom recovery, full wipe and reflash. Maybe even try to update firmware. Just giving you options dude! :silly:
No such issue here, I had stock 4.4.2 now I'm MaximusHD ....both didn't have any problems

Thanks for all the replies. I tried every possible firmware/rom/reset combination - all with problems. I assume it was just coincidental I noticed it after the 4.4.2 update.
Returned it back to stock using the guides here on XDA and I have my replacement from AT&T
