Is anyone's svoice on gear forceclosing?
Everything was fine. Then I flashed Tom on note 3 that didn't have gear manager included. Ever since then I can't use svoice on gear. Even after flashed back rom that it was originally working on

Hello.
My gear is set up using Null 23 and Triangulum Kernel 1.0.1
I am using Gear Manager 1.6.132701.
My LG G2 is using android version 4.4.2. It is using a stock rom.
I installed the gearmanagerstub, gear manager, the 21 (19 really) APKs, and I used the Samsung apps that have the touchwiz requirements removed.
The only thing that's working properly is making phone calls using the gear, the camera, and the voice memo.
No notifications are working. SMS isn't working. Samsung Apps shows "No data" on my phone.
I tried to sideload the Gear version of the Kakaotalk app and it isn't showing up anywhere on the gear even though it says it is installed.
I would really like to get SMS notifications to work. I'd also like to get Samsung Apps working. Does anyone know what I may have done wrong?
Edit: I downgraded to gear manager 1.5. The Call Log now works, but notifications still dont seem to work. I'll update with more details later if I get anything working.
ive updated my gear to tizen and I love it, watch styler works very well and the interface is clean
only 1 problem I think
I goto gear manager ,then Samsung apps,
completely nothing there, no apps at all
has this happened to anyone else

How did you get watch styler to work after the upgrade? I also confronted Samsung about the lack of apps for Gear 1 owners now running Tizen (14 available for me), and they said that unfortunately only a few Gear 2 apps are currently compatible for Gear 1 owners- even though internal specs of the 2 watches are nearly identical (not to mention OS is the same).

goto gear manager
goto Samsung apps
click the 3 dots for the menu, then purchased
update watchstyler
that's how it works for me
im running Nordic NEE 2.2
my Samsung apps has not even got any catagrys for me
found the solution to my proble, I uninstalled gear manager
then installed the updated gear manager
bingo ive got apps now
but no watchstyler, and can not install watch styler

Same thing for me. And using the 3 dot method to find watchstyler comes up with nothing.

first time I installed tizen,it asked me to restore, I restored and everything worked good, ,just no apps in Samsung app store
watch styler worked and it was the last opion in clocks
it worked with all my rolex watches, analogs, I never tried digital ones before
then I found someone else had the no apps problem, I uninstalled gear manager, then installed the new version....then it told me it will restore my watch to factory settings, it did it,and then I lost everything

That makes sense since I was in the process of installing a fresh ROM on my S4 at the time also and started out completely new with BT pairing to the newly flashed Tizen Gear and let it download Gear Manager from there.
Oh well, goodbye Watchstyler for now. :crying:
I have a Galaxy Gear connected to my Note 3 and recently factory reset the Gear.
I went to re-install Evernote, but on the Note 3 it only shows the 'Launch' button - and it's greyed out, you can't click it. No install button.
Thankfully I've got Wondershare MobileGo, so I connected the Gear and installed the apk of Evernote (1.0.15).
Unfortunately Evernote still won't show up on the Gear! I've restarted the Gear, still no Evernote.
I've installed other apps to the Gear via MobileGo (such as MX Player Pro, Ovo Timer, a calculator and some others), everything is workin' perfectly except for Evernote. It just won't show up.
Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?
Ah ha! I looked through Titanium Backup and found Evernote 1.0.15 and promptly uninstalled it.
Then went into the Gear Manager and was able to re-install it. Yay, all fixed.
I have just about banged my head on the wall with this dang gear watch maaaan. So I was trying to install null23's custom recovery (didn't stick) and I had to re download the firmware for my gear watch so I dl the latest one on the sammmobile website and I ended up on crappy Tizen maaaan. Since then life has been hell with this watch. I can't re root it and now my pedometer won't sync data to m s5. I get all my notifications just fine but my pedometer won't sync. On my s5 It gives me a error message to sync using the proper gear app which I already have installed. I've uninstalled and reinstalled samsung gear manager went into the pedometer settings and the share via button is grayed out. I don't know what to do like for real for real, I've did some searching around but no definite fix. I work on my feet and with my hands so it's really hard to do extensive searching on the clock and to be honest after work I'm beat so before someone gets on me about searching I thought I'd put that info out there. I can't get the sync to work between gear 2 lite & S-Health on S5mini.
I did factory recovery many times on both unsuccessfully...

I ended up getting it to work. Wish I knew exactly what I did, I just kept messing with the settings. I did uninstall gear manager and re installed maybe that was it

I paired it with my HTC One, and everything works fine, but I'd like to get a few more apps for the gear, maybe a calculator and a weather app or something. I searched google, but I can't find a place I can download Tizen apps or wgt files without using the gear manager, which doesn't give me an option to download apps on my non samsung phone. So my question is obviously where can I get these apps?
In the gear manager app on your phone there is an selection for gear apps, you may need to set up a Samsung account.
