I am using a HTC One on Wind Mobile in Canada and have unlocked the bootloader and have it rooted. Now I want to unroot and go back to stock. I couldn't find a RUU for the Wind version of the HTC One and was wondering if I can use the T-Mobile RUU? If not where can I find the right RUU or how else can I go back to complete stock.
You can unroot from within the SuperSU app itself.
There is no RUU for wind mobile
How would I go back to stock so that I can receive OTA updates from Wind?

I don't have much of an idea of what I'm doing but I want to reset my rooted HTC one back to stock so I can install an OTA update and according to the tut I'm following I need the relevant RUU but I can't find it.
Can I use the Optus or another RUU for my Virgin Mobile HTC One? (1.29.980.2)
If you are in s-off you can use all the ruu you want.
And after you can be able to do all the OTA to 4.2.2 you want
I am using a HTC One for the Region India
Software Number : 2.24.707.3
Build version : 2.24.707.3 CL211355 release-keys
Baseband Version : 4A.17.3250.14_10.39.1150.04D
CID : HTC_038
the bootloader was unlocked using HTCDev . I had taken a backup of the stock rom before installing viper rom. I decided to come back to stock rom , so i have restored the backup.
I wanted to relock the bootloader . I checked quite a few sites for the indian RUU and got the link for bugsylawson , unfortunately the link doesnt work as the site is no longer online.
I relocked the bootloader using the command "Fastboot oem lock " . Now the bootloader screen reads " Tampered Unlocked" .
How do i get it back to stock and in a condition that no one can find out that my phone was once rooted and bootloader locked?
Please advise.
I never found an RUU, but if you're returning your phone for warranty, they don't seem to care about unlocked bootloader/root.. I returned my One with trickdroid & TWRP, and they did it

I am planning to sell this . Have issues with the camera purple tint . since its more than a month old HTC wont give me the DOA certificate. the buyer is ready to buy this phone unless its in stock condition.
The HTC center will happily replace your camera for free.. Even I have the problem, they've ordered one for me, and are gonna get it replaced this week..

What hboot version are you on? Only way to removed the tampered flag is to be s-off. They patched this on 1.54 and newer hboot. Being s off would also allow you to flash a different ruu by changing cid. If there is no ruu for your cid, and you can not s off, restore the backup and relock. That is the closest you can get to stock.

Hboot Version 1.54.0000
It's probably cause you have the custom recovery still on the phone. You need the stock one
Go to the HTC center, if you get a good customer service rep, he'll RUU it for free (yes they have the new RUUs, they just don't give it to you)

Restore stock backup.
Flash stock recovery.
Relock boot loader.
This is as close to stock as you can get without an ruu and no s-off.

Went to the service centre , they flashed the RUU . The Customer Care Rep showed me that i have tinkered around with the bootloader . It now shows Relocked and he also said that my warranty is void .
I currently have S-OFF, unlocked bootloader, running custom firmware on hboot 1.55. I'm trying to go back to pure stock to send my device in for repairs but I'm struggling with the RUU portion. I plan to follow the procedure found in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2358738
Only issue that bothers me is that the RUU should match your carrier. My phone is from Rogers but I don't believe a Rogers RUU exists out there, how do I proceed to going back to 100% out-of-the-box stock?
can you post your fastboot getvar all output?
Run the 4.1.2 RUU for the developer edition. From there you should flash a Rogers Nandroid backup. Go back to stock recovery after the flash and you should be on a Rogers Rom. Feel free to upgrade to 4.3 from here using the OTA. After this it would be pretty much stock Rogers on 4.3

First I've heard of a way back to stock with Rogers HTC one. I've been searching for months, I wish I would've known once I root I can't go back to stock. Sucks. You mention the 4.1.2 ruu , what region? I don't see a CanadIan ruu on the developer page. I've heard the WWE means world wide edition. But I don't know how to use. I DL but was a tar.gz file that I can't seem to open with anything I try

Try this guide. It is for returning to stock 02-UK but you can change the nandroid backup from stock o2 to stock Rogers
It's pretty long winded - reason o made it was because I few people including myself kept getting tampered messages when returning to s on. So if you need to return to s on for warranty and upgrade to latest OTA then follow this guide. Take note of your original CID as well
I restored my htc one to stock through ruu.exe.But there was difference between firmware, i had 4.19.161.11 and the one that i downloaded from htc1guru was 4.19.401.9 so i changed cid to 11111111 and i successfully restored to stock and i have s-off right now and i changed cid to its origional one .Tell htc is also disappeared and phone says it is test device. How to shut off tell htc and can i still receive ota updates ? Remove your imei and serial numbers from the post, that's your personal information.. To remove red text on start up look here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2156368
Custom stock roms ie ARHD etc, are the most up to date out there. HTC tends to roll out their updates very gradually.. personally I'd go with custom stock roms.
PS.. If you use the custom hboot to remove red text, DO NOT RETURN TO S-ON...it will brick your phone.. Always flash stock hboot first, if you decide to S-ON in the future..

Sir i asked that can i recive ota updates from now on on my phone.i used stock rom to restore and my hboot is origional no modification to that.
If you have stock recovery and your CID and MID match the RUU, you should be ok to receive OTAs

Did you ever get a RUU or Nandroid backup for your WIND Amaze?
I am looking for an ICS RUU .zip or Nandroid for a WIND Amaze myself.

This is the HTC M7 forum, not HTC Amaze. Correct forum here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/amaze-4g
