Heavy Battery draining Problem

guys i didnt used any other jb rom than hellybean
I was on v4 and it was perfect the battery life was awesome and thein I updated to nightly 13/08 and then first I experienced random reboots after every 2-3 minutes of cellphone going to sleep
I did full wipe and installed the rom but still the same problem and the battery was draining very fastly (2-3 % drops in every 5-10 minutes)
Went back to original GB and then again Installed CM 10 alpha and then full wipe and then hellybean but still random reboots and battery draining
went back to GB again and then installed AOKP and then full wipe and then hellybean 17/08 This time there were no random reboots eexcept when I play 720p videos BUt the BATTERY DRAIN IS STILL same 100 % finishes in 3-4 hours (i m not lying)
Any solution

ur battery drains in idle state or watching videos?
plz check ur bluetooth, wifi, gps, and also install battery saving apps...u can also install cpu sleep app from google play..that would also help

Hmm
Have you tried playing with the cpu governors ? But considering the early state of jelly bean development, you should be patient, I think none of the rom are really rady for daily use.

nothing except oc to 1200 and bln but again after many wipes it was stock and now it is stock but battery life is same

Try this:
GSAM Battery Monitor on play store.
It has an AppSucker option, where you can see which app was the sucker

still no solution as app sucker is normal and not showing any app eating battery bady

help guys its really annoying everytime I go out the battery ends up

try with another battery after cleaning both sides of the contacts (phone and battery)

i dont have another battery

change back to ics or gingerbread will have better battery life.

well..I have to say that I had the same problem..
1-st download from market GetRil to see if you have baseband compatibility it may be an issue there. If so fix it, is really easy.
If problem is not solved. I guarantee that changing kernel will do the job. I recommend siyah.

Follow these steps ;
1- install busybox data on your device !
2- go to CWM and wipe cauch ,delvik and battery .
3- reboot your device .
4- enjoy ^=^

BusyBox is a collection of common UNIX programs and utilities. It's required for many root apps and functions. Basically, everybody should have the latest BusyBox installed if they can.

downgrade C6602 to 4.1.2

Hello guys I have a very big problem !! After updating to 4.2.2 my battery is drained in 2 hurs everything were fine before updating I have searched a lot how to downgrade but I can't find anything relative to c6602 ver I'm new to android world :s came from bb I rly need anyhelp please guys

go into settings, and then power management, and then click battery at the bottom and it should show you what is draining your battery. if you have a bunch of music on an sd card or something, the mediascanner app may be going haywire.

Thx for ur great thread I have tried everything but even while using only whatsapp battery is dying + battery just completed charging after removing the charger it became 99% !!!lol everything were fine before updating to 4.2.2 so I hope anyone can help me to how yo get back to 4.1.2 for C6602

Battery drain

Lately I'm having huge battery drain, the battery only lasts a few hours.
Is it a hardware or a software problem?

whick android are you using?
try closing all apps,
install greenify and hibernate whatever you dont want and then observe the battery life.
google "how to use greenify"

Also when I start the phone in the upper left corner says: KERNEL IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING

thats because you are not on stock touchwiz
once you go custom rom you get that thing
you cannot get rid of it.
but that doesnt affect performance
its just a text.
if you go back to stock touchwiz rom then it will disappear

Thanks for the info.
I will try Greenify and see if the battery improves.
I installed Greenify and searched on the internet on how to use it.
After using it I don't see a difference.
What else can I do?
Nobody knows what causes the battery drain or how to fix it?

Canvas a1 severe battery drain on marshmallow

After update to marshmallow,battery drains so fast. I can downgrade to lollipop, but i dont want to because i really like marshmallow except for the battery life.
So any solution to the battery life?

not yet. But you can try clearing cache and restarting. That works sometimes. Another solution is to flash custom kernel.

I have tried this, i flashed viking's kernel but i did not find any improvement in the battery life. Do u know the name of a good kernel?

facing the same issue, any solution??

The issues seems to be google.
Some suggestions which improved battery life for me.
disabled adaptive brightness
Account-google-disable sync for unnecessary things
Disable bloatware from apps list
turn off OK GOOGLE voice option
enable sync photos only on Charge

Reflash stock rom.

Status: Stock ROM (not rooted)
without wifi or on anything, and let my phone idle while im sleeping, the android OS consumed 10% of 100% in 3 hours.
Anyway face this issue?

Can someone help?

One of my attempts to solve, was to install a custom kernel.
It did not solve everything, but it helped.

Hi.
Installing custom kernel will not solved everything.
U should install Better Battery Stats to find out misbehaving apps which may have drain yr battery.
