Hi all,
Interested in purchased a NS limited Edition back cover for my NS.
Wouldn't mind if it is a knock-off, as long as it is a high quality product.
Looked on ebay and found nothing.
Anyone got any links that I can purchase one?
Thanks
Heeter
Sameee id like one too.

Anyone???
Thanks

Hmm, not sure about an official source for these. But my phone actually came with the limited edition (with the little Android logos all over it, right?).
I didn't really like it, and was able to buy a warranty-replacement original cover. I have one of the Android covers right now sitting on my desk that I wouldn't mind getting rid of. PM me if you want to try and work something out.
That actually makes me wonder if Samsung's warranty support stocks any of the Android logo covers. You guys might try calling in and giving that a shot too. Make sure to tell them you want a warranty replacement for your current cover though, otherwise they'll just tell you they have none for sale and to get lost :]
EDIT: PM cheerfully received! I'm assuming this means that my Android logo back cover will, very shortly, no longer be available.
PM sent, Bro.

I would LOVE to get my hands on one of these if any friendly T-Mo/Samsung/hooked up people would be willing to part with one. Please, please, please someone let me know if you have one available and tell me what I need to do for it.
Same here...I rock a naked Nexus w/InvisiShield and would LOVE to show off that wicked backside cover. Thanks in advance...
I'd just like to reiterate my edited post to indicate that I no longer have a limited edition back cover. I sent it out to Heeter pretty much right after I posted.
I don't mean to sound rude, but I've gotten numerous PMs by people who apparently didn't bother to finish reading my post and it's a little out of hand.
Again, it's no longer available. Sorry :[
Maybe Heeter will sell you the one he bought

Ha, Ha yeah right!!!!
No way, hanging on to this one, big time!
But I do know how you feel, sosquidtaste, I put my car up for sale last week, and I fully described the car in detail in the ad, and they still ask me if it has the feature or that feature when they call.
Read the whole thing!!!

Can I get a pm also?
i would love a different back to change and show off... if anyone has one please pm me
I guess no one is going to sell me one of these

So I'm having a bit of a conundrum. My current RAZR M is very nice, but is facing a few problems (I won't go into detail). After a lot of research, I've decided the Moto X will most likely be my next phone. Some additional motivation is I have a $50 coupon off a new Moto X and tomorrow starts Motorola's Moto X Valentine's Day sale. It seems like a good time to pick one up.
My question is should I get the Dev version with the black front with white backing, to which I'm not a huge fan of or get a MotoMaker version and design one that I like? Like most here, once I get my hands on the device, I'm going to want to root it and start tweaking everything to my liking. Any help is greatly appreciated.

There have been lots of threads on this. Searching is good.
The cheapest, most customizable and most tweakable is the T-Mobile version. this comes already carrier unlocked, and you can unlock its bootloader easily.

I think you already know the answer. It's like trying to decide between the ugly girl who gives it up easily or the attractive girl who makes you work for it but is totally worth the time and effort.

I'm assuming you're a VZW customer, and planning to stay as one... So don't get the Tmobile version.
What means more to you, a customized look, or the ability to unlock it? Unlocking guarantees you the ability to root. While you can root the VZW moto maker phones, you cannot now, and likely will never be able to unlock it.

To be fair, I did search and not just here. Most what I found were people moving from "top-tier" model phones. The other being that the prices have change a bit from the release date. I will keep you advice in mind though.
I was thining the T-Mobile version would be the best too. From what I've read, it'll be a bit of work but that is part of the fun.

While I may not like to context of your analogy, you message is clear. Getting a beautiful phone and putting forth a bit of work to making fully my own may be worth it in the end.

When I originally got my RAZR M, I was on VZW (prepaid to be exact), the tweaks I had done to make it work on their network caused to phone to not play well with the network at times. I removed the frequency block on the radio and now am running my RAZR M with a GoPhone SIM. Works much better even if AT&T's coverage isn't as good a VZW's in my area.
First of all, my question can seem very naive or even stupid, so definitly excuse me for that. Here's the deal: back when the 1st Moto X was released, I really missed out on the whole Motomaker thing. Now that I think about it, a big problem arises, cause I actually can't use any phone that's being currently offered. Why, would you ask? Damn big screens. They disgust me. They're utterly uncomfortable, clunky and ugly. I just can't stand the new "phone meta" or whatever. So I decided to ask you guys a question: is it still possible to get a brand new custom Moto X that I get to create myself? And I mean like not refubrished or anyhing, a brand new phone, that's what I need. Maybe there are some companies that customize phones that can help me out with that?
Just so you know, I don't live in the States, but I've got a physical address there and a way to deliver stuff abroad.
Thanks in advance for your answers.

Hi
I got the Moto 360, but the Urbane looks way better. Is it worth to get it now or should I just wait for the next smartwatch?
Also, how is the battery life on this thing?
Thanks in advance

I was thinking the same thing a few days ago but decided to order one and got it on Saturday. I love it. I had the original Moto 360 and it was okay but the "flat tire" was annoying as hell and I sold it afer a couple of months. I love the Urbane and would just say go for it if you want one now. By they way, Amazon has them for a little under $300.00.
We should be hearing something official about the moto 360 2 soon. I'm waiting

If it still has that flat tire, I wouldn't buy it. That is one thing that made me get rid of the first version.

Had it for almost half a year now and I never see it, besides when I read about people complaining about it on here. It's more the design of the watch I dislike. The whole "circle with a screen" design. The Urbane looks classy with the right watchface.
I just bought the urbane late this afternoon @ BB. Showed them PM over amazon for 280. I have moto 360 before and it was 4x replaced and the problem is keeps on coming back. The plastic black bars at the back were too brittle. And sometimes the back plastic will cracked. Motorola build quality is questionable.. now are you buying the 2nd one with now lenovo owns motorola? So far, this urbane is a big big step to moto 360
Like what?
So how does this compare to the new moto 360? Worth getting over it? Or should I just spend the extra and get the huawei watch ?

Just picked up an XT1064 (the Consumer Cellular version) and it has the traditional black back cover on it and I'm a fan of yellow and black so, I spent the past 2 hours trying to track down one of the OEM "lemon-lime" back covers for the Moto G 2nd gen model and was unsuccessful. Seems crazy that they'd just disappear from the face of the earth but whatever so...
If anyone out there happens to have an actual Motorola OEM Lemon-Lime back cover for the Moto G 2nd gen XT1064 I'd be interested in acquiring it from you given the price isn't too crazy insane or if anyone can point me in the direction of actually locating one online from a reseller that would be awesome as well. I tried dozens of online sources and got nowhere, not even eBay has it in any of a dozen countries I checked against. Not sure why they're so hard to find but I suppose they just weren't all that popular.
Yes I realize there are other companies making yellow or similar replacement back covers but I always prefer to get the OEM hardware above cheap knockoff products. I don't intend to use a case on this phone, hence me just wanting the lemon-lime factory back cover.
Admins/Mods: if this post isn't allowed then by all means delete it as required.
Thanks for any help in tracking one of these back covers down, happy holidays to all...

Already got rid of the Moto G 2nd gen, got a 3rd gen now and of course in looking for the yellow shell for this phone it's out of stock everywhere as well. I've never seen anyone using a yellow shell except me on any Moto phone and yet I can't find 'em anywhere, that's just weird.
Anyway, can't find one for the Droid Turbo 2 I have either, guess I'll just give up and live with things the way they are.
Actually I have one. Bought 2 years ago at ebay.co.uk.
Green and yellow isn't the best color. In few weeks it became dirty with a lot of dust on the inside.
So I stopped use it.
Oh, and it makes the phone bulkier than stock one.
