Unable to get into CWM Recovery. - Xperia SP Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello Team,
I have successfully rooted my Sp using the VRoot application and further proceeded installing CWM referring this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2352920
I was successfully installed.
I am still in LB but there is now way I am getting into the CWM. Pressing Vol + and the power on... i get the first vibration. i kept the vol + holding up but as described for the second vibration to come up.. stuff doesnot happen. that means i do not get any second vibration.
The Sp boots up normally with the stock rom. Any help regarding this will be really appreciated.
thanks. :cyclops:

Just try all steps again, make sure your phone is rooted:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2405933
And then follow
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2352920
Again, I mean it should work, I have used this method too (on 2.254, actually Im on it now...Rooted and CWM)
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
(and feel free to press thank you )
---------- Post added at 06:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:29 PM ----------
You could also use this method if the other wont work, I come to think I have used this CWM.

Do you tried pressing Volume down ??
You can also try to start Recovery Mode from apps (or mods); e.g. Rom Toolbox(not working for me) or Xparts (works for me:victory.

Pull out your battery for 10 mins, reinsert the battery and now on startup try entering the recovery mode. It will most probably boot in an emergency arm recovery mode but let you connect to odin and update your firmware.
Good luck!

U cannot go download mode?....:/Try somehow..without battery..or do something... and flash a stock 2.3.5 with odin...
---------- Post added at 11:41 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:36 PM ----------
Try this steps:
- remove sim card, and sdcard
- remove battery for even less than 30-20 seconds
- hold volume down, home key and power button simultaneously and put the battery, it will go directly to Download Menu
None of this works bro for SGM.....Be careful...Dont install ROM manager no matter how pro you are at changing ROMs.

[Q] TWRP Lock

I have looked in multiple forums but cannot find the answer....
My TWRP locks itself (the screen with the open lock overlaying the normal screen) after i press any option. And the only thing I can do is power the phone down by long pressing the power button. I can unlock TWRP but the next button i press locks TWRP again.
I also went through the root process and flashed the custom recovery... but after installing superuser it does not detect 'root' access. Does it make a difference if I installed it from the PLAY store or through ADB?

Unfortunately, I am locked on the TWRP recovery screen so I cannot downgrade to the 2.5 version of TWRP. I did read through the guide provided by BigDaddy619 and although helpful requires my phone be in bootloader mode which i cannot since my phone is locked at the twrp screen without at least in my eyes to restart the phone. If you could provide any insight to what i may be missing it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Ok so if anyone has this same problem that they cant get out of twrp 2.6 to be able to restart your phone. hold the phone to a BRIGHT light directly at the light sensors level and hold the power button for 15Secs and that will do a hard reset on your phone.
Thought i would pass that info along

if you want to get to the menu, I believe you have to simultaneously press POWER + VOL UP + VOL DOWN briefly (you're probably gonna have to try a few times to get the timing correct.

yeah any time in stock recovery (green or red), you may need to try several times to get to the menu (like the other post I linked)
Well, thanks to this post I entered the recovery.
I made a lot of combinations until I got the good one. You have to press VOL UP + VOL DOWN buttons together and a half second later press power button. :good:
I'm at this point and I get this quick error message then the phone reboots. What am I missing? I'm stock on my way to root. I'll see if I can catch that error message. Oh, it happens when I try to do the 'install from phone' option, or card, I tried both and I get rebooted as described.
Okay, something about 'check id failed' and more but it comes and goes so fast. One more time...
Okay, "invalid operation... rebooting...". Also, before all that it says something about missing cw file too.

It was life saving for me Bro . I had no idea whatsoever to solve this. If you Don't mind, i have a kind of tricky question here, i had gone back to my stock rom that is sense 5.5 with android 4.3 because i liked the camera feature (the slow motion option and the sequence shot and the group photo edit, i really loved it:victory which is missing after the OTA update to sense 6 and android 4.4. Is there anyway i can retain those stock camera features, hope you understand what i mean. It would be very grateful if it is possible. Thanks in advance, and thanks again for saving me from the recovery issue.

I need Motorola Contextual Services on CyanogenMod.

Hello everyone.
I do not like to write much.
I used the CyanogenMod 12.1 in a motorcycle 2014 (titan). I successfully installed the Motorola Assist by my recovery(flashable zip), but to use all the functions of the application I'll need to install the Motorola Contextual Services.
One would compatibilize the Motorola Contextual Services for cm12.1.
I can only use sleeping mode and meeting mode, I can not use the driving mode.
I'm sure that is possible.
i don't think it can works in cm 12.1.
But click here
DOWNLOAD IT
The apk does not work in any ROM if the service is uninstalled or never existed

Even with the original rom can not install applications and system services with a apk. The apk only serves to update the application or service already installed. I need a flashable zip, but I'm not a developer to make one.
i didn't know that.

you can do hard reset , press Volume down +power for over 2minutes ,
my friend had a problem the device didn't open plunged in , then he did a "press Volume down +power for over 2minutes " and boom opened.
Or try press Volume down +power for over 2minutes , after the phone close from no battery.
Give it a shot
Is not it!

I'm not using the Stock ROM, so I ask for a flashable zip. I want to put a service of Stock Rom in cm. Hard reset will not work and i do not intend to return to the Stock Rom.
Only one developer knows what I'm asking.
Thank you!
Thank you!
