Request to all DEVELOPERS - Galaxy Ace S5830 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

FIRST OF ALL HELLO TO ALL DEVELOPERS
I have opened this thread to request developers specially who compile or port cm9 ics roms
i would be happy if someone from you can make AOKP ICS ROM
imagine a fast stable aokp ics combination speed of ics and customisation of aokp
i am asking for aokp ics cos jellybean aokp is present but is too heavy and show lags
so please if anyone interested then please try to make it
MY SPECIAL REQUEST FOR THIS TASK TO SOME PEOPLE
1 SKY_WALKER
2 OLDDROID
GOOD LUCK :good::good: AND THANKS IN ADVANCE

To clear things up, please don't open threads asking for development of ROM's. If you really want a new ROM you can PM a Dev. Second, please don't demand things. The guys who create these ROM's also have lives of their own and it takes a lot of effort to create these ROM's.
If you think there are some lags or other bugs in a current ROM, just report it in the ROM thread. It may help you.
Hope I make things clear. TY

I think we already have that, Erikcas was working on it, I used it earlier. You have it here > http://www.androidfilehost.com/?a=show&w=files&flid=6287

And btw, OldDroid isn't active anymore here. He has got a new phone

is it fine i mean is it stable and performant and is the ram consumption not very high

As far as I remember it was rock stable, customisable to the bone, and the ram consumption was like, for example, like Maclaws CM9.

already but found that it becomes laggy after installation almost 10 to 15 apps
even though thanks for advice

CM9 & up aren't remotely supposed to perform as great as stock. Bcoz they weren't meant to be running on ace at the first place. It was our awesome devs that even built 4.3 for us. So if you are using them, just don't complain, use it the way they are. Especially on an armv6 800MHZ qualcomm device.:screwy:

was your comment really necessary?no.The reason for posting this rom is the fact that i've been using it for a while. Its stable and simple, with no errors and unexpected problems.Very good battery and so i wanted to share this with everyone else as i've flashed various themed roms with alot of unnecessary things.Dont be a jerk please.

What's wrong with you? Is this how you support a developer who is working hard to give you a nice ROM for your phones for free? What's going on with you?
Way to discourage people who do hard work and expect nothing in return. Really, well done, clanking down on people like this. That's exactly what this forum is for, right?
This is something I would expect an iPhone user to write. "No need for other phones cuz my iPhone is the best and so unique." This is not something I expected to ever have to read on an Android DEVELOPMENT forum.
Shame on you.
Nice rom everybody is welcome, keep up the good work

He can't post links here as it violates the rule.
He can post it in his maclaw.pl if he wants to.
With CM10 here who wants a CM9.
erm....
the title should be request to maclaw or requesting maclaw

He needs to publish his kernel source for mini if he wishes to post his rom links here.
Anyway it's all history now.
if this is the rule then its totally wrong why a person needs to upload the source if he wants to make his own rom
this rule is just wrong
I am totally opposed of it
if someone asks for the source then it should be compulsory otherwise the dev must be free of this

Yeah, many asked kernel source, and it wasn't there in their github. According to GPL and open-source community the sources should be made open if somebody needs it. We nor Google don't have the right to uphold kernel sources.

[Q] AvatarRom-New Kinda rom released-Can anyone port it?

Hi Everyone,
I found information of new rom that was recently released named Avatar Rom. Its Available for only a few Devices at present (available for One X)
can anyone port it??
http://avatarrom.com/
By the looks of it, the ROM looks excellent.
Seriously
No one interested?
I'm interested dude but I definitely can't port roms.

I am the creator of ROM. I can give you the port for Incredible S. Since the ROM is based on cyanogenmod it should work with no issues.
But we don't have a device to test. If you can help us with some basic sanity test i can give you the image.

If you really must ask that question im afraight youll lack the expertise to succesfully compile, build and package a rom.
If you feel lucky try searching around the forum and or google on how to compile amd build cyanogenmod for your device, also on their website is a quide/wiki.
Goodluck anyhow; keep us posted.
