Well, I done some research. And I get to account password. But it is cripted... So I do not think there is a way to get like that. Only if he knows answer to question of google (that he wrote when he made account) or he put second email for recovery.
On JB it is in root\data\system\users\0\accounts.db

App Hub Registration issues

I've registered my windows live account with App Hub, and also verified that I have been billed for it. Yet when i try to login to App Hub, i always end up at the page below.

Also, i am unable to register my phone as a developer's. I get the following error.
Is the App Hub page broken, or am i doing some mistake? I am not able to access their forums to raise this issue since everytime I login it takes me to that stupid screen. Any ideas guys?
The simplest thing to do is to have your
Computer country
Live Account ID's country
and Phone's country set to : USA
hope that helped..
I went to Microsoft billing, and delegated to another account in which everything is set to USA. Now atleast i am able to login in and access the forums etc. But still the same screen pops up. I've raised a message in the App Hub forums.
Can you tell me one more thing? How do i solve the second screenshot which i've posted? And also, am i supposed to get a mail from GeoTrust? Still havent got it.
For your second screenshot, I also had the same problem but the forums there explained that you need to get validated by GeoTrust first. How do you do that? You need to submit an app first.
Yeah I know it sounds dumb, but basically I just did the HelloWorld tutorial and submitted the xap file. This initiates the GeoTrust validation process, and you should get an email within 24 hours. Then you should be all set to register your device etc.

[Q] Gmail Auto-Sync (push) disappeared...

Something weird just started on my Bionic...
Gmail is set up (has to be so I can use google play) and has worked for the entire time I've had my bionic...
3 days ago I noticed that I quit getting gmail notifications... if I opened my mailbox I could press refresh and the mail would update....
So I thought to myself...ok, I've turned off the sync.. so I went to accounts and into my gmail account... to my suprise, the auto sync isn't there... I'm going to try and attache pictures of what it looks like...

If I touch the SYNC GMAIL it syncs
So I thought again, ok, just delete the account then put it back in...
I get the infamous You can't dumb a.s.s. error
I've went into applications and remove the cache on the gmail app, I've tried everything I can think of... any help would be greatly appreciated.
Tim
I didn't get any replies here but did on another forum.
Some solutions suggested were:
1. make sure your gmail account is set to sync
2. Menu > More > Settings > touch your account > check your settings on Sync inboxes and labels, Email notifications, and Labels to notify
3. make sure your autosync is on in your power widget
(Thanks gsDroid)
These seemed to help one other user that had the same issue... they didn't help me, so I ended up doing a factory reset...
Just thought I'd share in case anyone else has the problem or has any new suggestions!
Thanks,
Tim

[Q] Android OS using my data. How can I stop it?

Why is it the only thing that uses data even when not even using the phone? I tried everything. Disabled background data, sync off. Every little setting, I went into and turned everything off. I restored my phone to factory settings and didnt log into my google account when they asked. I skipped everything. I tried everything and it still uses data.
Anyone know why? I have the moto g 2nd gen US version.
Your Android Os is updating Some Apks I think Apps like Google play services & playstore Application To Latest Version.. when you Login into Your account just Goto Playstore Then Settings Click on Auto update And Set it To DO NOT AUTO UPDATE Apps ..
There is A best option If Ur rooted Just download The Titanium Backup And freeze The Playstore...

I don't know anything about rooting phones Im not a pro. I think I will wait for the next version of Android to come out and see if that fixes the problem. I did set setting to not to auto update but Android OS still keeps using data.
Here is a screenshot.

[Q] Stock email app couldn't download *.zip

Hi,
A friend of mine has a stock 4.4.4 xt1063 with an exchange account with default email app, everything is working but he's he can't download any .zip attachment, he asked for help and I tough a "zip reader app" was missing installed few from the play store and the same.
He send the file to my gmail account (gmail app) and I receive and download the file, I have slimlp 5.1.1
Them we tried different zip files and only gmail worked.
Then I tried to use an exchange account with default app in my phone to receive a zip attachment and it fail, tried gmail exchange and fail, tried IMAP and pop on both apps and also fail.
Installed cm12.1 and try again both apps fail to download zip file, any other attachment download fine. Tried Google and couldn't find anything.
I took a log cat and always have this same warming from attachmentservice.
Any ideas what's happening?
Can anyone confirm this behavior.
K9mail works fine on IMAP and pop but I think it sucks that stock email app can't handle attachments all the workarounds are a hard thing to do for a regular Joe.

I have Android 5.1, and also stock email version 5.1 and have the same problem. Hopefully when my company upgrades to exchange 2013, I can use OWA app if that app can handle all attachments?

Try one of this methods, it worked for me;
(1) Go to - (your phone's) Settings/Accounts and select your account and delete it. Afterwards log in again.
Or
(2) Simply go to (your phone's) Settings/ Apps/ Hangouts and select delete cache, and the select delete data. Last thing you have to do is force close app and then reboot your device.
If anything is unclear or difficult to understand then feel free toask me

This didn't work for me. Additionally, I went as far as a full wipe and reinstall and the issue remains. It only happens with hangouts 4.0. I tried using hangouts as a built in system app as well as a user space installed app, neither work. For now being on 3.3.x is working for me but maybe someone else has come across this issue and has an alternative solution.
It has to do with capitals in the email
Unfortunately this issue exists for several of us and Google still hasn't fixed it. It has to do with your original email using capital letters in the username. If you look at the email address it's trying to send from , you'll most likely see some capitals in there. See thread about it here: productforums.google.com/forum/m/#!topic/hangouts/K77g6VWr92E
