After I flashed to nightly 13 the n button no longer functions as a home button. Anyone else having this issue? Or did I screw a setting up someplace?

I think I Remember some other people have that issue with some of the Nightly builds, and I believe they had to Clear their system and data, and reflash to get it to work again.
I would go check out the CM7 Dev and User threads tho to be sure. They are in the Development forum.
I recently installed CM 7 which is a great rom, though when im calling, the proximity sensor does not work ( i was informed about this before i flashed it ), i thought i can disable the screen manually but when i press the power button the call ends instead of turning off the screen...
How can I fix this?
Edit: When I brick my phone can I revover it with CWM 5, i got a full backup...
Go to settings/call settings/allow proximity check it
Yu done.

Hi bros
I am using Galaxy. TAB P1000GSM, I don't remember exactly the using history, but one day after flash new firmwares my TAB got into the bootloop state until now.
I had tried to flash any kind of firmwares with any solutions which I found on XDA included the Overcom Experience.
With any Gingerbread and newer firmware, my Tab was flashed completely without errors but always got into the bootloop state.
Finally I flash a 2.2 stock firmware, and after flash completed without errors, the Tab boot normally to the setting screen, but the touch screen and all soft button did not work, except the power and volume buttons.
I there anyone got experience with this problem? Pls give me some advices to save me Tab? You will save my life:thumbup:
Sorry for my bad english!
Thanks in advanced!

I boot into recovery mode, but only can use volume key for moving up/down, select the menu items by press the power key does not work!
Still stuck here

when in recovery mode use the up/down volume to scroll and use the Home button on the screen to select. Clear the data then clear the cache. Then go to advanced and clear dalvik cache.
Thanks! But my Tab in recovery mode can be used with volume key, but both home key and power key do not work!

you sure you have P1000 and not P1000N or P1000L (check the back of your tab)
Ofcourse I sure that. It a P1000 GSM 16GB version!

Ok. Just asking.
Because touch screen driver is the only different of P1000L/N to P1000
also GSM and 16GB

No, I mean there are two sets of ROMs/kernel (drivers is in kernel)
one for the P1000 and one for P1000L/N
but if you are sure you are P1000 and already flashing P1000 kernel/ROM, then no, I cannot recommend a P1000L/N kernel to use.
Unless you also have doubt about your P1000.

I used Overcom method already, the Recovery worked well, but the Tab went into the bootloop state.
Assuming that my Tab now has wrong bootloader and it is locked. So is there anyone can tell me how to fix it?
Thanks all!

Restock again using GB stock safe. It contains bootloader, so if your theory is right, that should fix it.

I do have exactly the same problems on my deodexed version. And until now no clue why. So let's see if another member finds or knows a solution.
this is what i found on for ICS on a similar issue
"- Download "Terminal Emulator" app from market
- open it
- type into the command:
su
echo -n ON > /efs/imei/keystr
sync
Go to home, force close your terminal app, shut your screen off, and when your turn it back on your lock screen should be there."

JB does not start. Hangs at the boot screen
Hi folks,
After I installed the official JB (from fantastic Eybee) the system announces sometime to check for software updates. If you allows that, after a short time you get the message that the system has been changed. And then the system restarts and remains at the boot screen stand. This happened to me 3 times. After that only helps a full wipe to Android running again.
I also get the message that the system has been modified but phone does not reboot. May be you need to clean install the rom again.

I solved my problems in my new version 1.3.
In XXLSA and XXLSC I do not have these problem (leaks and dumps). In official ICS or JB I do have the problems - but now solved with a workaround in my own Custom Rom (android.policy.jar).
Any idea how to fix with stock jb 4.1.2

AW: Problem on official jb
No. Not really. Because you need at least root for trying a workaround.
Switch to a deodexed Rom.

Eybee uses android.policy.jar from XXLSZ, try my Custom Rom (with the android.policy.jar from XXLSC) and check if you have lockscreens with this one (until now no 4-way-reboot, because I didn't implement it yesterday).

I had the same problem but it took a while to start working again. Reboot to see if its solved. I use Resurrection remix OS 5.8.5 from maclaw and it included an option for a Nav bar on screen.
