Looks like they pulled Evernote (maybe some bugs?). Ebay still there in the US.

Uweather!

Anyone DL'd Uweather yet? Its great! I love it much more that Accuweather or Weather Channel.
I've used WeatherUnderground.com for years anyhow, and now this mobile app is powered by WU. It has live webcams, radar, and 5 day forecast. It has a very simple and easy UI.
The best part is the small footprint (588kb) Vs Accuweather (3mb).
Its not as pretty as Accuweather, but definately worth it with the space it saved.
What do you guys think??
does it display the temp in the notifications bar?
Tried it, using it now. It's a lot more simple than AccuWeather, only one page, a five day forecast. If you want more info it'll open up a link in the browser. It's decent, and has a smaller footprint than AccuWeather that uses up too much disk space. No temp in the status bar as far as I can tell.
I like Weatherbug ONLY because of the temp on the status bar. But Uweather is a great app too.
Can you post the APK? Can't locate on market.

You can get the TouchPal.apk from the Palm Pre theme in the Dream themes and wallpapers section, just download the theme and pull the 2 .apks that say TouchPal.

I have no idea, it's the only one I know of but if it's a beta then it's a hell of a good one.

no it doesnt...still in beta
As a beta it's ok, but it really needs some changing. there's a .com button buried in there, about 3 or 4 taps in, therefore you could just type it as quickly, hash key is buried away as well, making it annoying for Twitter use, the keys are a bit too small in qwerty, which wouldn't be a problem but for the recognition suggestions being a bit silly.
best thing about it for me is the slide up on a letter for CAPS, slide down for punctuation option. definitely needs a little haptic for that though, if you're not looking directly at what you're typing it'll come out as garbage most of the time.
It's now available in the Market free till Sept. Make sure you install language pack after the main program.
I dont find it on the market.

I just saw it. Go to All Applications, By Date tab, and it's not too far down, but you should see a couple language packs first.
Touch Pal is released in the market today and its free to download until sept 30...this is not the beta version..this version you can now choose the vibrate and sound options on the settings...
Sorry to bring back an old thread but I just upgraded the ROM on my phone and now cannot find TouchPal on the market or on the web. I guess it's no longer in the market? But where is it??
I thought it was equal to the HTC keyboard, but touchpal has the 1-9 on the top row of letters and that is just awesome (gesture down to get the number instead of letter). It was so convenient.
Hi Everybody, I have this Touchpal apk v 1.0 from my Vodafone 845 and it is not working on my G1(Enomther The Official Froyo rom) how can i make it work? thanks....
I think here is a tool that can bring APKs to run. But I do not know how to use it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=640592
If the version is not important, there is a newer version in the Market.

I've tried to repair the APK. The following file works for me.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14910634/signedTouchPal1.0%203.apk
After a while I'll delete the file because I do not know if this is allowed.

Flip clock in Canada?

I'm in Canada, so I can't buy the app because the market doesnt let me get paid apps.
I have cyanogen rom on my Rogers Dream. Is there a way to get a flip clock even though I'm not in USA or UK?

You should be able to contact the dev and ask him if you can pay for it via paypal or something. The website for weather widget donate is lock2.wordpress.com
It's a shame I cant use the hero's widget for the flip clock

Well, you could. All it takes is a hero rom that you like :b
But anyway, weather widget is exactly like the weather clock. He also has a free version however that does not allow theming.
Just use market enabler.

Genie Widget from Nexus One Dump

Here's the News/Weather widget from the Nexus One dump. It should work on any 1.6 or 2.0 and above ROM. Just rename the .zip to .apk and install. Enjoy!
Works great! Thanks.

Jeff, search for Home++ in the market...he's using a home replacement app...it's pretty slick.
Wow, this is awesome!
Did you smali/baksmali to remove the build.prop check? I'm interested in what exactly you had to change.

I didn't personally do anything (I'm not a dev), I found it somewhere else and posted it here.
I would like to know where you got this. It may be possible to do this to other apks from the dump
Sorry, the site I got this from contains some warez so I can't post it here. I apologize, it actually looks like this was posted on 12/1/09 there so it's not from the Nexus dump although it's the same package name.
Works great. Thanks!
Awesome widget, except it refuses to sync the weather to my city (Indianapolis). Anyone else having this problem?

XYBoard clock widget?

can anyone help me find the apk for this XYBoard clock?
http://gadgethotnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/motorola-droid-xyboard-home.jpg
Thanks
It's probably just a skin on the GoogleDeskClock.apk. If that is the case, you would have to move the image files for the widget over to the version of the apk you're using now otherwise you might run into problems.
Here's a system dump for you to dig through.
