One month ago I purchased HTC one (Factory Unlocked Version) from Amazon. I am still using Android 4.1.2 and Sense 5.0.
I have not yet received OTA. I have not yet rooted my phone yet.
Recently I have found that "International HTC One Now Receiving Android 4.3 Via OTA Update To Software Version 3.62.401.1"
I have also found a download link for download over the air download file.
How to use this file to upgrade my phone? Please tell me the steps.
Software number - 1.36.599.1
HTC SDK API Level - 5.12

I have two t-mobile Germany HTC ones. Both running stock rooted 4.2.2. Yesterday one of the two notified me of an update called "HTC software updates v5" a 1.45mb file. My questions: 1. why only one phone got the update? Is that normal?
2. I should flash stock recovery before installing the update correct?

Hey All,
I have an HTC One M7 which is unlocked. It's an AT&T phone running on T-Mobile. Current OS is Android 4.1.2. I am unable to upgrade it to Lollipop 5.1.1. I got the ROM from HTC but it won't install. Does any body have any thoughts how to upgrade it to Lollipop 5.1.1
Thanks...

AT&T phones must unfortunately be connected to the at&t network to receive ota update. Since you are not on the at&t network, I would recommend to convert your phone to another version that doesn't requires any specific carrier to receive update like the Developer edition.
To convert your phone to another version, you'll need to achieve S-OFF so you can change your CID number so you can flash another version RUU.
I have htc one m7 gpe. Android version is 5.0.1. Build number : LRX22C.H3 release-keys
My phone is unrooted and its bootloader is locked.
In April I didnt receive android 5.1 ota update.
So I clear Google Service Framework and Google Play Service cash and data.
After that, when I click on System Updates, I see this message:
"Android L Upgrade for user/release-keys Couldn't download ..."
Now,
What I have to do to?
Is there any way to receive update?!
I reset my phone but it doesn't work.
Help me please!!!
I have an HTC M7, Running Android 4.1.2, (on AT&T Network). I bought it "unlocked" (used), and have been trying to update it to 4.3 or higher. The Update function inside the settings supposedly downloaded an update (271MB) and informed me the phone was up to date after a lengthy download and install. But I didn't notice a change in anything. It still says 4.1.2 (#1.26.504.12). Someone help me please. The HTC website says this phone is supposed to be updated to lollipop.

at&t phones must be connected to the at&t network to update. The best solution imo, is to S-OFF the phone and convert it to another version.
This phone is connected to AT&T Network... It updated once.
