Hello everyone on XDA,
Ive try rooting my HTCONE on Sprint. S-OFF ,did flash ClockworkMod latest .img than i flash SuperSU.130. i was already on 4.3 android .. everything went well but when i open my SuperSU an error pop up "there is no binaries installed, su cannot installed it, there is problem to it". i did some further research, it seeem i flash an outdated SuperSU. aftewards i downloaded the latest SuperSU 1.65. Try to flash it in recovery, for some reason it aborted the command. than ive try a earlier release supersu1.43 . Same problem it will abort the command. than i switch to TWRP latest image . try doing the same and it still fails. ive also try -viperboys- method it did the same thing it aborted the command of flashing any type of zip files.
im stuck can proceed further . what can i do so i could get fully rooted.

any suggestions?
using TWRP, S-off , unlocked.
trying to flash a 4.4 rom
EDIT:::
after pushing loads of times, i guess the rom pushed correctly, anyways i try to flash here's what i get:
set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E: error executing updater binary in zip
for 4.4 roms you need twrp 2.6.3.3

Hi i have the htc one on tmobile running 4.3. I was able to successfully unlock the boot loader and root the phone but after downloading some root required apps and playing around a bit my superSU is telling me "The SU binary needs to be updated." and when i hit "normal" to install the update it either says failed or my phone reboots and im back at square one. Can you please please please help. or at least tell me where to get the latest SU binary update.
You need a custom recovery. If you don't have one installed, do so. Then use the CWM/TWRP option. It will reboot into recovery and update.
Download here and flash in recovery

I can't root my I9305. It goes well in the Odin but then when i try to flash the root package via recovery it's not working. I try to get to the recovery and instead of CWM recovery which i flashed it shows the stock recovery (the android with red ! ). Then when i try to flash the root package it shows some error and reboots to the system. Now i don't have root and don't know what to do now. Can anyone help?
Oh, and I've got the latest 4.3 update, not sure if it's important

PROBLEM SOLVED! There's a guide on how to root 4.3 firmware here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2567118
Last week I rooted my phone at htcdev.com, installed CWM touch custom recovery, then flashed Android_Revolution_HD_Root_and_BusyBox.zip. When I ran SuperSU, I got the message "There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem." I have not try to flash a new ROM yet.
BTW, Fastboot is showing TAMPERED and UNLOCKED.
Was there something I missed?
Thank you for the help.

This is a common problem. Reflashing SuperSU in recovery almost always resolves it. I keep the most recent recovery-flashable version of SuperSU on my phone for this very reason.
Also, ARHD and CWM don't always play well together. You should switch to TWRP if you're staying on that rom.
That worked, thank you.
Here are all of the procedures I followed to see if you can help me any. Believe me, I've tried searching everywhere.
1. I downloaded the latest version of the Windroid toolkit, found here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2499926). I saw it worked with HTC Vivid on 4.0.3, which was an old shattered phone I had lying around. That tool is pretty old, so I had no idea what the TWRP version it flashed for me, nor the version of the SuperSU it tried installing. (it downloaded it onto the device but can't install it.)
2. I unlocked the bootloader via the tool, then proceeded to flash the TWRP version it had to the device, it currently works fine (loading into recovery). But I opted not to create a backup for the stock ROM, so that's gone forever. And at this point I can't install the SuperSU because of an error in TWRP "Error executing updater binary in zip" (which I googled extensively to no avail, none of the fixes worked). And for some reason, my computer recognizes when the device is connected, but I can't adb push or fastboot flash recovery "file".img to the phone. I am exasperated and stuck.
Takeaway notes: No stock ROM, Unknown TWRP and Supersu versions. I can't install the SuperSu zip because of "Error executing updater binary in zip". I am not sure how to--if i can--push any other ROMs to my device, because it seems like I can't communicate at all with my device through my PC. Although the fastboot does say "FASTBOOT USB"
This is the stage I'm at. I tried flashing a new image of TWRP, the most recent version that works on my phone, via fastboot. So I have a folder with the adb crap and fastboot crap and the image. I type "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img" and it just goes to the next line without doing anything.
I know this information was all over the place, but I'm not really sure what information you guys need to help point me in the right direction.
Thanks.
