[Q] Will upgrading using IT'S will remove S-OFF & root?

Hi guys
Will upgrading my IS via OTA remove S-OFF, root and CWM?
I'm on stock 2.3.3 and going to upgrade to 2.3.5 with sense 3.
Plz help!!!

If you are S-OFF with CWM and you try to apply the Sense 3.0 OTA then it will fail. If you want Sense 3.0 then check out the Development section stickies. There are plenty of Sense 3.x ROMs to choose from. There is even a stock, rooted 2.3.5/Sense 3.0 ROM built from the official RUU/OTA.
You are better off keeping S-OFF at this point instead of trying to get the official OTA.

i think yes.. maybe in a few weeks..

I am running the official version and so far so good...the music freezes are fixed and flash player
11 works fine...i still didn't have a random network crash...i think im going to stick with the official release for a while until some more roms come out.

If u want ICS you Can Download The Indian Version and Flash It

I cant install the update am alwayes go in bootloop ...am using mobile odin ...caus my device wont connect to the pc ....mobile odin cant flash bootloader ...any thing can i do to flash the ICS ???

I updated my S II (I9100G) officially everything is fine but my RAM is decreased to 687MB from 0.91GB is it normal ?

you need a PC 1st time flashing ICS mobile odin wont work

which one is better...stock ics kernel or codeworkx lp7 kernel? in term of performance

i cant open gallery in cm9 it says no sd card,but i can see my pictures as blurred images behind this popup...

Stock rom 4.0.3 with speed mod kernal

my SGN running stock 4.0.3 i rooted it with cf_root and i install speed mod kernal
Now if i wanna flash any rom
what is the best rom for me
And how to install?

Hmm is the speed mod kernel any good? Thinking about trying it. Using a stock 4.0.3 but rooted at the moment.

It totally depends on your taste how u want your note to be look ? But you can find some very nice custom ICS roms in Android Development Section. Choose One...Follow the instructions and you are away!!!! WoHooo !!!!!

Speed MoD K3-9 ICS Kernel is grt. Am currently using it. There are a lot many choices in Custom ROM. It all depends on ur taste & requirement.
If you ask me Kingdroid Notemania 5.1 & Paranoid Android are my preferred choice. Download & install instructions are in theier respective OP thread. Just do a search in the development forum.

1 of all i need a stock ics kernel so that i can flash a custom isc on it
2 my rom manager doesnt back up current origunal rom ... is there a problem with the root !!???

I think you have already rooted your device.
ROM manager won't work on Note.
What i remember is you have rooted your device from some other site. Now look to you appl drawer, whether it having CWM application?
If yes, you have to backup with that.

how to downgrade from JB to ICS

i've just run this JB CyanoVivo 4.3 rom on my Incredible S
but I want to run another rom ..this rom 4.0.4

Full Wipe and flash as if you were flashing another rom. No need for additional software flashing or anything.
